Cherie Magnello (Mary)Cherie is an artist, actor and musician who has performed with Meetinghouse Theater Lab, Barn Arts and New Surry Theatre and other ensembles in Maine and the Boston area as an actor/soloist in concert, opera and improvisatory music theater. She is a member of the Harborside Trio based in Southwest Harbor, Me. (Bill Merrill, pianist/Carl Wrubel, baritone) which performs regularly in Hancock County. She has lived in eastern Maine since 1974 and maintains her jewelry design studio, cherbijoux, in Tremont on Mount Desert Island.
Randall Simons (Thom)Randall is thrilled to be sharing the stage with two seasoned actors and friends in this challenging role. He has performed in numerous shows at New Surry Theatre: A Body Of Water, (Moss); Fun Home, (Bruce); The Browning Version, (Crocker-Harris); Billy & Ray, (Raymond Chandler); Sylvia, (Greg); Papermaker, (Henry McCoy); The Price, (Solomon); Laura, (Waldo Lydecker); The Laramie Project, (Multiple Roles); The Humans, (Eric); The Bagaduce Theatre: The Importance of Being Ernest, (Rev. Canon Chasuble); The Cherry Orchard, (Firs); The Grand: Our Town, (Doc Gibbs).
So thankful for his friends–especially Peter who has always been an amazing source of support and encouragement and Lori Sitzabee, our Artistic Director who is always bringing new noteworthy works to our stage.
Sally Mills (Vicky)Sally grew up in Blue Hill. After college, she lived in England for 15 years and worked in London as a solicitor. She returned to Maine to raise her family and practice law at Hale & Hamlin, LLC, Maine’s oldest law firm. Favorite roles with The New Surry Theatre include Annette in God of Carnage, Jane in How to Transcend a Happy Marriage, Marge Murray in The Laramie Project, THAT role in White Rabbit, Red Rabbit; and Amazing Mayzie in Seussical.
