Quality Instruction in an Encouraging Environment

Myrtle Beach Area Children's Theater is a teaching theater for grades 1st through 12th. Myrtle Beach A.C.T. holds 12 week sessions in the Fall and the Spring consisting of classes and culminating in a performance.  Students will work on music and singing skills, dance and choreography, acting and technique, teamwork, costume and set design, and many other aspects of theatre.  They will learn through various methods of teaching, including drama games, application through their assigned character, technical warm ups and exercises.  Additionally Myrtle Beach A.C.T. takes a performing group to the Junior Theater Festival in Atlanta and to Voices on Broadway in New York City annually.  One Week musical theater camps are also held each summer.  Connect with us on social media or send us your email address to be included in our communications about upcoming classes.  Our website is www.myrtlebeachact.com

JUMPSTART: 1st - 8th graders. No Experience needed.   Performs Friday Nov 22nd at 7pm and Saturday Nov 23rd at 11am.

RISE UP:  4th - 9th graders. Invitation/Audition required.  Performs Saturday Nov 23rd at 7pm and Sunday Nov 24th at 2pm.

STEPUP:  6th - 11th graders.  Invitation/Audition required.  Performs all shows Friday Nov 8th - Sunday Nov 10th.
