Sky is thrilled to play the role of Lord Farquaad. Her favorite part of theatre is making the audience laugh. Rehearsal has been a crazy ride thanks to Covid-19, but it is worth it! (Step Up)

Haley is thrilled to be back on stage for her fifth performance with MBACT. She enjoys being able to explore new characters and bringing them to life. She enjoys swimming, baking, and spending time with family. (Step Up)

Sadie Burch performed in Dickens’ A Christmas Carol at Trinity Church & The Lion, The Witch, & The Wardrobe with NMB Children’s Theater. She is a musician & a homeschooled freshman. (Step Up)

Amelia is an actor in MBACT. This will be her 9th show with MBACT. She loves spending time with her friends and family and with her cat Cinnamon. She reads, draws, swims and does lots of other activities.She is looking forward to this show very much!

LT is in eighth grade at Forestbrook middle school, loves reading, playing video games and spending time with his friends and family. His favorite parts of theater are dressing up in costume and hanging out with his friends.

Mallory is new to MBACT and is a rising 8th grader at Shallotte Middle School. She was first bitten by the acting bug (along with other little forest critters) when she was 8 years old at Camp Glen Arden in the mountains of NC. Mal loves making Tik Tok’s, baking, painting and spending time with family and friends. She’s very happy to be part of a wonderful and supportive acting group!! (Step Up)

This is Emily’s third show with Myrtle Beach ACT. She is 14 years old and dreams of working in Disney as a performer one day. This program has opened her eyes to new friendships and an incredible way of showing her talent. (Step Up)

Gavin has been in 12 plays since he was 6 years old. His favorite role was Pumba in Lion King Jr. with MBACT. He is thrilled to be on stage for the fifth time with MBACT as Papa Bear, Dulac Announcer and Bishop in Shrek Jr. (Step Up)

James Lewandoski just finished 6th grade at St. James Intermediate School. He enjoys playing the piano, playing outside, writing, and drawing. His favorite book is Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire. (Step Up)

Mack Lewandoski is a 14 year old boy who played Ed in the Lion King. He likes reading, sports, video games, and music. He just completed 8th grade and was born October 13, 2005. (Step Up)

Thomas loves how theatre is about a group of people working together to reach a goal. His favorite role so far was Aladdin. Thomas also enjoys soccer, video games and writing comics. (Step Up)

Emily Owens is an aspiring actress who cannot wait for the day that the group does the show The Newsies. My personal favorite part of theatre is probably the vocals and learning harmonies. (Step Up)

My name is Isabella and I just finished 6th grade. I enjoy working behind the scenes and being able to run music for the other performances and see how much they grow. One thing I love about theater is that there is so much more than just the performance and so much happens behind the scenes.

Eden is returning to the stage for her 9th MBACT performance. Her favorite part of theater is growing as an actor and being silly with her theater friends. Eden just completed 4th grade and dreams of making it on Broadway one day! (Step Up)

Lauren Tarbert (Wicked Witch) is a sophomore at Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach. Her resume includes roles such as “Horton” in Horton Hears a Who and “Emma” in Believe. Lauren plays piano, violin, guitar, and ukulele. (Step Up)

This is Layla’s 7th show with MBACT. Everyday her passion grows for theater and the magic behind it, as well as her love for her peers. Her favorite part of theater is how the kids support each other, work hard, and are very kind to everyone. Her favorite role has been Jafar in Aladdin. (Step Up)

Cora is a newbie to the theater world and is thrilled to be making her debut in Shrek Jr! She is a rising 6th grader and loves singing, dancing, and making up choreographed routines with her sister. She has plans for participating in many more performances in the near future! (Jumpstart)
