This year we are so excited to bring Christmas Arts Showcase back to campus as we explore our new facilities and present an interactive Christmas experience! We've designed a brand-new type of showcase that allows performers to share the joy of Christmas with smaller audiences throughout the evening. While the performers stay put, you'll start your experience by meeting up with your tour group & guide at registration (the Middle School Art gallery). They will then guide you on a walking tour through the Middle School & Upper School buildings to see all of the performances! There will be treats, photo opportunities, a pop-up Arts Swag store, a bit of walking and sitting, and lots of Christmas joy! To have the best experience possible, check out your parking guide and keep an eye out for important emails from us! (**Children 3&under Free)

PLEASE CHECK IMPORTANT PARKING INFO BEFORE ARRIVING (it will also be emailed to you)

6:00 pm tour: Park at Preschool, Holiday shuttle will pick up at Preschool awning starting at 5:30pm

6:15 pm tour: Park at Lower School, Holiday shuttle will pick up at Fellowship Hall starting at 5:45pm

6:30 pm tour: Park at Lower School, Holiday shuttle will pick up at Fellowship Hall starting at 6pm

6:45 pm tour: Park at Upper Campus Baseball field, please walk to Middle School entrance for registration

7:00 pm tour: Park behind Upper School building, please walk to Middle School entrance for registration

7:15 pm tour: Park at Administration Building (gravel lot) & in Middle School carpool circle, please walk to Middle School entrance for registration

*There will be plenty of Holiday volunteers to answer any questions and guide you to where you need to be. The Holiday shuttle will meet you at the end of your tour & bring you back to your vehicle if you are parked on the Lower Campus.

Theatre at Mount Vernon is truly an immersive experience where students have endless opportunities to act, design, build, stage manage and create electrifying experiences like no where else. From Hitchcock to Shakespeare, original plays inspired by podcasts to popular musicals we all know and love, our students are able to tailor their drama experience to suit their passions & interests. Students begin learning about theatre in Preschool Performing Arts Class and continue to hone their skills until elective courses become available in Grades 6-12. Whether they are new to theatre or an experienced veteran, students have no shortage of curricular and extra-curricular opportunities to flourish in theatre arts!
