Paul Ashby (Lionel)
Paul Ashby (Lionel/Prince Christopher Understudy) is thrilled to be returning to MTS and doing musicals again! Favorite roles include Benny (In the Heights, MTS), Seaweed J. Stubbs (Hairspray, ALT), Donkey (Shrek the Musical, ALT), and Willard Hewitt (Footloose the Musical, ALT). Paul thanks his family and friends for their love and support! Enjoy the show!
Eibhlin Brennan (Ensemble)
Eibhlin Brennan (Ensemble/Stepmother Understudy) is excited to be performing again with MTS. She holds a BA in theatre arts from Loyola Marymount University and has been in over two dozen shows since returning to New Mexico. Favorite roles include Victoria (The Motherf*cker with the Hat, Teatro Paraguas), Lady Capulet (Romeo & Juliet, SF Shakespeare Society), and Heidi/Ensemble (Nine, MTS). Eibhlin sews and plays D&D in her free time. We're all stories in the end. Make yours a good one.
Eric Burton (Ensemble)
Eric Burton (Ensemble), the oldest of seven boys, has always had a love for performing for the stage. Born in Ventura, California, Eric moved to Albuquerque with his family at age eleven. This is his first time on a community theater stage but has plans for many years more. Eric is currently studying business. His other interests include reading, card & board games, and time with family. He thanks his friends and family for their loving support.
BrieAnn Gillespie (Joy)
BrieAnn Gillespie (Joy/Cinderella Understudy) is excited to be a part of another MTS production for this magical show! She was last seen in Clue: On Stage as Mrs. Peacock with HAP. Other favorite shows include The Little Mermaid (MTS), Beauty & the Beast (MTS), and serving as assistant stage manager for Disney’s Newsies (MTS). She sends a shout out to the cast, crew and support from her loved ones who made being a part of this show possible!
Natalie Hadley (Cinderella)
Natalie Hadley (Cinderella) is an Albuquerque native and lifelong theatre enthusiast. She received her BFA in musical theatre with an emphasis in vocal performance from the Boston Conservatory. Some favorite roles include Mary Sunshine (Chicago, MTS), the Baker’s Wife (Into the Woods), and Anne Egerman (LNM, The Huntington). Outside of performance, Natalie is a mother, wife, and private vocal coach. She dedicates this role to Kelli Ingle; forever our ‘princess.’
Nicholas Handley (King Maximillian)
Nicholas Handley (King Maximillian) has been involved in the Albuquerque theatre community for the past eight years and is very excited to be a part of this charming show, his third production with MTS. Some favorite previous roles include Tony (West Side Story, ALT), Orin Scrivello, DDS (Little Shop of Horrors, ALT), Ram Sweeney (Heathers, DFP), and Link Larkin (Hairspray, ALT). A violist as well, he was recently a member of the pit orchestra for Big Fish (MTS).
Cameron Illidge-Welch (Prince Christopher)
Cameron Illidge-Welch (Prince Christopher) is so excited to be working with MTS again (and this time in person) on such an incredible show! You may have seen him play Judas (Godspell, HAP), the Beast (An Enchanted Cabaret, MTS), and Hortensio (Kiss Me Kate, Landmark Musicals). Cameron has been seen in theaters all over the southern part of the country and is so grateful for the community’s acceptance and love!
Robert Johnson (Stepmother)
Robert Johnson (Stepmother) - Cinderella is Robert’s first production on stage after a seven year hiatus. During that time he enjoyed working backstage as a dresser in Shrek, Mamma Mia, Chicago, Joseph/Dreamcoat, and Tuck Everlasting with MTS and Hairspray! and Singin’ In The Rain with ALT. His last acting role was Fester in The Addams Family with MTS. Robert thanks his longtime friend Todd LaTourette for his love and support and his bodyguard Chad Morgan for his bravery.
Kirsten Maestas (Ensemble)
Kirsten Maestas (Ensemble) is excited and humbled to be performing alongside such a talented cast. This is her first musical, having last performed in a cabaret in 2016 (Seasons of Love, MTS). She grew up singing in her school choir, dancing ballet and jazz, and listening to every soundtrack of a musical she could get her hands on. She thanks her family for supporting her interests in music and dance, and everyone who encouraged her to audition!
Emily Peacock (Ensemble)
Emily Peacock (Ensemble) is just fourteen years old, but is already a known veteran performer locally. This is her 20th theatre production and her second with MTS. Emily made her debut with MTS three years ago as the title role in Matilda. Other memorable roles include Chip ( Beauty & the Beast, ALT), Gertrude McFuzz (Seussical, HAP), and Mary Lennox (The Secret Garden, NMYA). Emily is super excited to be a part of this phenomenal cast which includes some of her favorite actors!
Shirley Roach (Ensemble)
Shirley Roach (Ensemble/Queen Constantina Understudy) has been a familiar face on Albuquerque stages for 25 years. Her first show was ACLOA’s production of 42nd Street and she has been on the stage ever since! She holds a BS and MS from UNM in elementary education, art education and reading. She co-directs and choreographs the musicals at Sunset Mesa School, studies voice and tap, and teaches children's Bible study. Shirley has been a personal trainer for 31 years and has a zest for life!
Angela Robinson (Queen Constantina)
Angela Robinson (Queen Constantina) is thrilled to be returning to the MTS stage. Angela has been involved in local community theatre productions since her role as Marilla of Anne of Green Gables at ALT. She most recently performed as a gypsy/gargoyle in the The Hunchback of Notre Dame at MTS. Other favorite roles include Greenway (Elf the Musical, MTS) and Dora Bailey (Singin’ in the Rain, ALT). She thanks her family for their love and support.
Katherine Robinson (Ensemble)
Katherine Robinson (Ensemble/Lionel Understudy) loves performing in musicals. She started with Shrek the Musical in 2014, and has performed in shows at almost every theatre in town including Mamma Mia at ALT and Nine at MTS. Katie graduated from UNM with a BA in theatre. She is currently working as an elementary music teacher in the east mountains. She was recently in The Hunchback of Notre Dame at MTS and is excited to embrace her new identity as the cheese merchant in Cinderella!
Abby Van Gerpen (Grace)
Abby Van Gerpen (Grace) is thrilled to return to MTS after last performing as Miss Honey in Matilda. Other favorite roles include Corie Bratter (Barefoot in the Park, ALT) and Nora Helmer (A Doll's House, Vortex). When not on stage, on screen, or recording audiobooks, Abby lives her own fairytale life as newlywed to Chad and stepmom to Annelise (Not an evil stepmother! Promise!) and is always thankful for their love and support.
Tamara Vann-Moya (Ensemble)
Tamara Vann-Moya (Ensemble) - Growing up in El Paso, Tamara dreamed of working on Sesame Street (or for Jim Henson). As an adult, Tamara attended NMSU, taught middle school science and math, published 2.5 young adult fantasy novels, and started gardening. Tamara is delighted to be making their stage debut, and offers heartfelt thanks and love to everyone at MTS, the Cinderella cast and crew, their friends and partners, and their December kiddo, Izzy. (Happy birthday, Izzy!)
Ashlyn Vigil (Ensemble)
Ashlyn Vigil (Ensemble/Grace & Joy Understudy/Dance Captain) is from Santa Fe, NM and received her BS in chemistry with a vocal performance minor from UNM. Ashlyn most recently performed as Norma (Carrie, MTS). High school performances include Annabel (Lucky Stiff), Geminae (A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum), and Tiny Tim (Scrooge). Ashlyn is thankful to be a part of such a hard-working, talented cast. She thanks her family, friends, and boyfriend for their support.
Erin Williams (Fairy Godmother)
Erin Williams (Fairy Godmother) is thrilled to be making her MTS debut! A Miami native, Erin attended Florida State University in Tallahassee while also performing in many local productions. Notable roles include Janet (The Drowsy Chaperone, Theatre TLH), Millie (Thoroughly Modern Millie, Quincy Music Theatre), and Heather (American Idiot, New Stage Theatreworks). Erin thanks her partner, Jacob, her family, and friends for their love and support.
Adrianne Wise (Ensemble)
Adrianne Wise (Ensemble/Fairy Godmother Understudy) is excited to be a part of another show with MTS, after performing in Big Fish this past January. She has also participated in Little Shop of Horrors (HAP), In The Heights (MTS), Jekyll & Hyde (MTS), Little Shop of Horrors (ALT), Come Blow Your Horn (Adobe), and over a dozen performances with Foul Play Cafe. She’ll be back in the MTS black box for Rock of Ages in January. She is grateful to experience this show with her husband in his musical theatre debut!
Brian Wise (Ensemble)
Brian Wise (Ensemble/King Maximillian Understudy) - This is Brian's first show at MTS! You may have recognized him in the audience of several shows as MTS is the 'chef's kiss' of theaters in Albuquerque. He is ready to knead his soul into these characters so you can taste the hard work the cast and crew has put into this show. Brian thanks his wife Adrianne for motivating him to audition for his first musical. He also thanks family and friends for being the spice in his life and bringing him flours.
