The Sound of Music Cast
Phy Sullivan (Maria Rainer)Phy Sullivan is a senior Visual arts major at Mot Charter Highschool. This is his fourth (and almost final) musical at MOT, and he’s so happy that he was given a chance to be a part of this family. You might recognize him from Radium Girls (as Sob Sister), The Little Mermaid (as Chef Louis), or from Never After Happily (as Clarabella, Ariel, and the Witch). He’d like to thank his parents and brother for driving him to practice all the time, his sister for going over lines with him, his friends for supporting him, and the wonderful adults in his life who have encouraged him and supported him throughout his high school career. He hopes to fill this stage with the sound of music, because he must have done something good to be able to share the stage with such an amazing cast, crew, and directors.
Bradley Santiago (Captain von Trapp)Bradley is a digital art major in the Class of 2026. He has had a love for acting since elementary school, when he had multiple parts in shows for his schools in Jacksonville, Florida, such as Space Pirates, Alice and Wonderland, along with the titular role in Aladdin. He has also recently played several roles at MOT Charter High School such as Morgo in Murder by Magic, Ensemble in Mean Girls, Tom/Berry/Flinn in Radium Girls, King Triton in The Little Mermaid, and several roles within Never After Happily. He is a creative-at-heart, loves drawing, writing, and acting. As a fifth-time member of the drama club, Bradley is excited to bring energy and camaraderie to the production.
Saisri Sridhar (Elsa Schraeder/Baroness Elberfeld)Saisri Sridhar is in her senior year at MOT and is thrilled to be a part of The Sound of Music. As an instrumental major, she has spent a fair amount of time on stage, not only playing the piano but also taking part in MOT’s theatre productions. Her most notable roles include Katherine in Radium Girls, Little Red in Never After Happily, and now Elsa in The Sound of Music. Outside of school, she likes to spend her time reading books and singing along to songs in her car. She would like to give a shoutout to her parents and sister for all their love and support, as well as her boyfriend for helping her run lines and choreography. Saisri hopes you all have a magnificent time watching the show!
AJ Haug (Max Detweiler)AJ is a junior at MOT Charter who loves his hobbies like lacrosse, music, and journalling. AJ has been doing theatre since he was very young and some of his favorite roles being beanstalk Jack in never after happily and Maxwell Detweiler in...well, you'll see. He wants everyone to enjoy the show and wants everyone to be aware that men's mental health matters too!
Madilynn Clark (Mother Abbess)Madilynn Clark is a sophomore dance major at MOT Charter High School. She’s excited to play
Mother Abbess in this year’s musical, The Sound of Music. This is her 2nd theatrical production,
having played Arista in last year’s production of The Little Mermaid. She loves to sing, dance,
and draw. She loves spending time with her family and loves hanging out with friends. She has
done dance competitions for 5+ years. She's also a first place hip hop dancer and top score of
the whole competition of this year. Enjoy the show!
Ashton Carswell (Rolf Gruber)Ashton is a senior instrumental music major that plays the trumpet in the MOT High School Orchestra, sings in the choir, studies music theory and piano in class, and runs on the MOT cross country team. Outside of school, he likes to take part in his community, volunteer, and make connections with people. This is his sixth show at MOT Charter, previously acting in productions of The Little Mermaid and Never After Happily. In the future, he would like to study music in some form in college.
Shannon Garcia (Liesl von Trapp)Shannon is an 11th grade engineering major at MOT Charter, and is very excited to play Liesl in “The Sound of Music!” This is her third musical at MOT, and she appeared as Flounder in “The Little Mermaid.” Some of her hobbies include singing, dancing, drawing, and playing guitar. Her favorite animals are axolotls and red pandas. She hopes that you will all enjoy this lovely show! :)
Logan Zickafoose (Friedrich von Trapp)Logan Zickafoose is a sophomore in the theatre pathway. This is his fourth performance at MOT. Logan loves acting, singing, and hanging out with his friends. He wants to thank his friends and family for supporting him and Ms. Friss for being so amazing!
Layla Rhys Mathew (Louisa von Trapp)Layla Rhys, a 11th-grade biotech major, is a performer involved in chorale and numerous musicals. Excited to play Lousia in The Sound of Music, she blends her passion for music with her academic pursuits, bringing dedication and enthusiasm to her roles.
Jordyn Lucindo (Brigitta Von Trapp)Jordyn is a 7th grader at the k-8 MOT building. She is thrilled to be playing Brigiita. Jordyn has just recently begun performing and has been in Footloose at the Smyrna opera house as Elenor Dunbar/ensemble. Outside of theater, Jordyn enjoys playing piano, reading and running cross country. She is incredibly thankful to the cast, directors, anyone who contributed to the production and especially her family and friends!
Andrew Harbeson (Kurt Von Trapp)Andrew is a sixth grade student at MOT Charter School and is excited to be making his theatrical debut as Kurt Von Trapp. Outside of theater, Andrew enjoys baseball, cross country, and music. He would like to thank his brother Scott, an MOT Theater alumni for coaching him, and Mr. Hess, Mrs. Rewkowski and his parents for transporting him back and forth to practice. He´s also thankful to his many friends and family who have encouraged him over the past couple months. Thank you for coming to see today´s performance of The Sound of Music.
Anna Rewkowski (Marta von Trapp)Anna is so glad to be Marta in the Sound of Music (it is one of her favorite movies!). She has done three other musicals before including,The Fox Farm, Finding Nemo, and Space Pirates. She would like to thank all of the people who made this production happen, and her family and friends for all of their support. We hope that you enjoy the show!!!
Peyton Hess (Gretl Von Trapp)Payton Hess is a second-grade student at MOT Charter K-8 and is thrilled to be performing in her very first musical! Payton stays active year-round playing soccer, softball, and basketball, but stepping onto the stage has been an exciting new adventure that may just steal her heart. She would like to thank her mom, dad, and her sister, Jordyn, for their love, encouragement, and support.
Rebeca Santana-Cintrón (Sister Margaretta)Rebeca is a sophomore dance major and is so happy to be a part of MOT’s The Sound of Music! Rebeca is playing “Sister Margaretta” in her second MOT musical. This is her third MOT Production and was recently in the fall play as “Aurora” in Never After Happily. Besides being in the show, Rebeca explores more of the arts by being in choir club and dance club. She is thankful for all of her family, directors, and friends who take the time to make the show possible and for all of their efforts to provide this opportunity to perform.
Layla Cowgill-Theodore (Sister Sophia)Layla is a junior at MOT charter high school playing sister Sophia. Layla is excited to be a part of The Sound of Music and hopes you enjoy the show!
Sania Baig (Sister Berthe)Sania is a Junior and Computer Science major who is very excited to be playing Sister Berthe in The Sound of Music! Sania has some theater experience, playing Wendy/Clarisse in Murder by Magic in 9th grade and was part of the ensemble for Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella in 8th grade. Outside of theater, she enjoys playing guitar, drawing, and crocheting. Sania would like to thank her friends and family for all of their support.
Viviana Munar (Frau Schmidt)Viviana Munar is a sophomore Theater major at MOT Charter High School. This is her 2nd musical here, and she couldn't be more grateful for the timing of this show. You may have seen her as “Ashley” in “EMMA, A Pop Musical JV”, or even here at MOT as a Maid/Ensemble in our production of The Little Mermaid. She is very excited for her future productions/ roles at MOT, and even her future in the world. She hopes you return to our future productions. Outside of theater, Viviana loves to sing, make music, create art, spend time outside in nature (when she can) and play soccer. She is thankful for the entire cast being able to work hard and bring this show to life, the staff and crew that also worked very hard to put on this amazing production, her family, and her close friend Layla. She believes the message of this musical is very prominent not just in today’s world, but also in our lives. She hopes as you watch this show, you don’t forget the power of love, never lose hope, and always stay strong, even in the face of adversity. Zachary Moore (Franz)Zach Moore is a Sophomore and excited to play Franz in this production of Sound of Music. He had the pleasure of playing Rumpelstiltskin and the Judge in the fall production of Never After Happily. As a freshman, he was an orchestra major but switched to theater after having so much fun playing the Devil in the MOT Theater Club’s production of the “Brothers Grimm”. He also participated in Everett Theatre's 2026 Season Reveal, performing Jailhouse Rock with an ensemble. Zach still enjoys playing saxophone in his spare time.
Mateo Santana-Cintrón (Herr Zeller)Roberto Mateo is a freshman at MOT, Class of 2029. He has been a part of many musicals in the past but in the past school year he played a role in the fall play Never After Happily. He hopes that his friends, teachers, and directors enjoy the show, for they worked so hard on it. Special thanks to them!
David Fulton (Admiral von Screiber)David Fulton teaches 9th Grade Composition and AP Literature and Composition at MOT Charter High School. He is excited to be returning to the stage, or the hills, after a 24-year hiatus when he last performed as Lt. Schrank in West Side Story. Nick Scarpone (Baron Elberfeld)Nicholas is MOT’s 12th Grade ELA teacher, and he is excited to be a part of The Sound of
Music. This is his first appearance in a MOT Theater production, and he is honored to work
with such a talented cast and crew. Beyond MOT, Nick enjoys cooking, fighting in cage
matches with bears and he is looking forward to traveling to Japan and South Korea with
MOT this June. Nick would like to thank Mrs. Friz, the bears he’s fought and the students of
MOT Charter.
Amaya Anderson (Nun/Ensemble)Amaya is so excited to be part of The Sound of Music! She is a freshman at MOT Charter and has loved the arts for as long as she can remember. Victoria Foust (Nun/Ensemble)Victoria is a sophomore theatre major, who is very excited to be a part of this year's production of “The Sound of Music”. This is the sixth MOT Charter production that she has participated in. Some of her favorite shows that she has performed in are “Hadestown", “Never After Happily”. “The Wizard Of Oz”, and “The Little Mermaid”. Tori would like to thank her family and her directors for the countless hours they put into this show and their unwavering support in making this happen.
Mila Garrett (Nun/Ensemble)Mila Garrett is a Junior at MOT Charter High School and a three year vocal music major. Former musicals/plays she was in was “Mean Girls”, “Help! I’m Trapped In A Musical” as Liza, and “Don Quixote” as Sancho Panzo. She loves music and learning about anything that has to do with psychology. Her favorite things to do is spend time with her friends and family, and sing. Mila is eternally grateful for her friends and family and the adults in her life that make sure she never stays down when shes going through a rough patch.
Gabrealle Hyman (Nun/Ensemble)Gabrealle is a freshman here at MOT charter high school, and is honored that her first musical gets to be at this school. Zoe Jusino (Ensemble/Nun)Zoë is a sophomore majoring in Biotechnology at MOT. Now that she has one production under her belt, she is ready to take on this year’s show. She spends her time outside of school singing, roller skating, playing boardgames and studying music theory. Although she has many roots in
STEM she is ecstatic to share her artistic skills with you all tonight. Zoë appreciates all the support from her family, especially her sister coming all the way from Washington state.
Phoebe Landon (Nun/Ensemble)Phoebe is a junior theater major and is excited to be in the Sound of Music for this year's musical. Phoebe has been in several musicals such as ¨Mean Girls¨ and ¨The Little Mermaid¨. Outside of school Phoebe likes to dance at Delaware Arts Conservatory. Sarah Margerison (Nun/Ensemble)Sarah is a freshman theatre major and is ecstatic to be in her first musical at MOT as featured ensemble. Sarah has been in 7 musicals. Including her roles as "Brainiac ensemble/ Ms. Tenny” in High School Musical jr., “Little Red Ridinghood” in Into the Woods jr., “Veruca Salt” in Willy Wonka jr., “Wendy Darling” in Peter Pan jr., “Dragon” and “Mama Ogre” Shrek jr., and “Jane” in Descendants jr. Sarah also was a swing and was on tech for Never After Happily. Outside of theater, Sarah enjoys singing, dancing, and reading. Kaelin Middleton (Nun/Ensemble)Kaelin is in 10th grade and she is very excited to be part of another production at MOT! Her notable roles include “large blade of grass” in Honey, I Shrunk The Kids!: The Musical and “Ursula’s Tentacle #2” in The Little Mermaid. Tifa Powell (Nun/Ensemble)Tifa is a freshman theatre major and is thrilled to be in her first MOT show! Tifa has previously appeared in two musicals, including her roles in Grease (Ensemble) and Footloose (Chuck). Lilly Ranken (Nun/Ensemble)Lilly is a freshman theatre major. She has always loved theatre and has been in two plays. She is so excited to be in her first musical! Lilly plays a featured ensemble role. She can’t wait to try out for more MOT productions, as this has been a great experience. She loves singing, acting, reading and writing. She recently wrote a play that got an honorable mention for the Delaware Young Playwrights Festival (dypf). She wants to thank her wonderful parents for supporting her and her passions, and for all of the times they have driven her to and from rehearsals. Se’Ana Reavis (Nun/Ensemble)This is Se’Ana’s first ever high school play! She will be in ensemble for the sound of music, her roles consist of being a nun, and playing a gentlemen role in “the waltz” scene in the sound of music. Outside of theatre Se’Ana enjoys doing ballet, and she loves to draw! Se’Ana would like to thank Mrs.Fris,her mother, and everyone who has helped her navigate through the process of this play! Summer Showard-Sisco (Nun/Ensemble)Summer is a sophomore music major and is excited to be in The Sound of Music! This is her second musical. Summer is very musically inclined; Summer can play the ukulele, and is interested in exploring music production and learning to play the drums. Camila Stamenkovich (Nun/Ensemble)Camila is a Sophomore at Mot Charter and has also been in an ensemble in Mot’s, The Little Mermaid. She loves other musical related things like pit orchestras and the beautiful voices that people have, like in this show. She adores musicals and hopes to one day participate in more theatre productions in the future!
Daphne Tapel (Nun/Ensemble)Daphne is a sophomore Computer Science major, and she is excited to be apart of The Sound of Music! She has been a maid in last year’s musical, The Little Mermaid, and Jenny from the play The Day The Internet Died at the K-8 building. Darby Tisdel (Nun/Ensemble)Darby is a junior Theater major and is so excited to be in the ensemble for The Sound of Music! She was in the ensemble for MOT’s previous musical, The Little Mermaid. She also played Prunella and Snow White in the fall play, Never After Happily. She has won three state-wide playwriting competitions through DTC. Outside of theater, Darby plays on the 16U girls ice hockey National Championship team and also on MOT Charter’s boys lacrosse team. She would like to thank everyone involved in this wonderful production and all of her friends for their support.
Jules Truschel (Nun/Ensemble)Jules is a freshman theatre major and is excited to be in the ensemble in The Sound of Music! Jules has been involved in multiple shows and directed two plays, Her roles include, “Hannah” in "The Cast List", “ensemble” in "Help, I'm Trapped in a Musical JV”, and “ensemble” in Emma a pop Musical JV. Leilani Welbeck (Nun/Ensemble)Leilani is a sophomore engineering major who can’t wait to perform in The Sound of Music. You may have seen her at the OHS production of Annie and last year’s production of The Little Mermaid. When she’s not singing and dancing on stage, Leilani loves to play piano, guitar, read books, and write. Leilani would like to thank her parents for driving her to and from all the rehearsals, her grandparents for helping her prepare, her siblings for being supportive and her teachers. Enjoy the show!
Valencia Wiley (Nun/Ensemble)Valencia is a senior and this is her first time doing a musical. Valencia is a computer science major who enjoys playing basketball, listening to music and spending time with family and friends. Valencia's prior acting experience is being in a one act play.

and Dungeons and Dragons! They are super excited to be in the cast of their first MOT musical!

Maya Nambiar (Ensemble Men/Soldier)Maya is a junior in biotechnology and is participating in his first high school musical this year. Maya’s been a part of one other play as “Buck” in The Day the Music Died. Outside of the musical and that play, Maya likes to dance. A big thanks to the technical crew, staff, and actors who helped play The Sound of Music.
Isaac Ross (Ensemble Men/Soldier)Isaac is a Freshman year actor at Mot. He has been in Never After Happily and The Lion King Junior. He is very happy to be playing the priest/male ensemble in The Sound of Music.
