The award-winning Atlantic Brass Band joins forces with acclaimed Broadway vocalist Ciarán Sheehan for a powerful evening of live music on June 12 at 7 PM at the Montgomery High School Performing Arts Center in Skillman, NJ.
Performing in the traditional British-style brass band format, the Atlantic Brass Band stands among North America’s premier ensembles. A three-time North American Brass Band Champion, the group continues to earn international recognition. In December, the band was a featured performer at The Midwest Clinic, the world's largest instrumental music education conference. The band also earned a third place at the 2024 Scottish Open, with flugelhorn player Greg Kuhn taking home the award for best soloist. Additional appearances include the Gettysburg Brass Band Festival, Great American Brass Band Festival, International Trumpet Guild Conference, and multiple European tours. Comprised of professional performers, professors, educators, and dedicated community musicians, the band proudly serves as Artist-in-Residence at Rowan University.
Joining the ensemble is renowned Broadway vocalist Ciarán Sheehan, best known for his acclaimed performances as The Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway and in Toronto. His distinguished career includes sold-out performances at Carnegie Hall, serving as soloist at the internationally televised memorial mass for John and Carolyn Kennedy Jr., performing at the funeral service for Beau Biden, opening the dedication of the Irish Hunger Memorial in New York City, and singing the national anthem at New York Governor George Pataki’s inauguration. Born in Dublin, Ireland, Sheehan spent his formative high school and college years in New Jersey. In addition to performing, he is also known for his work as a voice healer, helping others unlock the transformative power of the human voice.
For the first time ever, the Atlantic Brass Band and Ciarán Sheehan come together to present a vibrant program of traditional, patriotic, and beloved musical selections in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary—an evening filled with energy, artistry, and the spirit of community.
