Welcome to FIND YOUR GIFT CAMP (Encanto themed). Your child has officially been given a magical gift… and it's up to them to discover it! What will happen when they light the candle and open the door? This camp comes with a special souvenir. . . your very own MAGIC CANDLE!!

We are expecting a fun and exciting summer camp season with all of our campers. You are registered for the session dates listed on your ticket. Be sure to mark your calendar! This two day camp starts at 9:00am and ends at 11:00am each day.

You will be required to sign your child in and out of camp each day at the front desk.

Each day will be filled with fun, hands-on activities that will allow your child to explore dance, improvisation, theatrical storytelling, and discover their inner gifts. They will learn foundational principles of dance in ballet, jazz, ballroom, and contemporary. Below is a schedule of topics that will be explored each day. 

Tuesday: 

Theatrical performance techniques/games - foundations of Improv and storytelling. Make our magic CASITA backdrop, and stained glass (tissue paper) butterflies! 

Musicality and rhythm - make your own magic door and try lots of different knocking rhythms! 

Thursday: 

Defying gravity! Learn the foundations of ballet- how to fly with proper jump technique! Complete a FUN toucan craft. 

Floor work! Play “what does Antonio say?” and embody various animals! - Parents join us at 10:45am for a special performance to conclude our camp! 

We will break at 9:50am-10:05am everyday for snack time.

Notes for a successful experience:

• Wear clothes that you can dance and move in! Ballet one piece dress for girls is suggested. White t-shirt and black shorts or pants for boys is suggested. Ballet shoes recommended. No baggy clothing or slippery socks please.
• Please leave all electronic devices at home.
• Food is not provided during camps. Please send your child with a fruit or vegetable mid-morning snack as well as a water bottle. Water will be available for refills. Please label your child’s water bottle with his or her name.
• Campers may go outside in the rear of our building in the grassy area with Miss Amanda for snack time if weather permits.
• Parents/guardians must stay in the building or parking lot to accompany children who are not yet potty trained.
