Peter Pan Jr. Crew
Director/Choreographer/Music Director
Marcia GeyerMy name is Marcia Geyer, and this is my 9th year with the
district, my second year as the drama teacher, and my
first year producing and directing a LIVE SHOW! My past
experience in the performing arts mainly comes from
performing in community theater plays in Fresno and
Clovis; years of private voice training; working as a
choreographer and drama coach for a children's theater
company for a year; years of working with children's
choirs in various capacities; and extra college courses in
theater, music, and dance at Fresno City College and
Fresno State.
More recently, I was so blessed to have worked on
choreography with Mesa and Nipomo High’s own Robyn
Metchik! Please see her honorable mention below!
And most recently, I've been able to work with your
AMAZING, talented, committed, and fun kids on The Dear
Edwina Show! Thanks so much for coming out to join all
of the fun!

Honorable Mention
Robyn Metchik
Robyn Metchik is such an inspiration to me personally, as
well as to the performing arts community! Her influence
reaches from Lucia Mar, to Broadway, and beyond! We
love and honor who you are, Robyn, and all you have
been to our Mesa and Lucia Mar Drama family! Robyn
retired just as the shut down happened. She was about
to produce her last show with Nipomo High School:
Chicago. She did end with a bang, however, with her final
production of Beauty and the Beast in early spring of
2020! With Robyn's retirement, she has graciously
shared her wonderful support crew with me! From the
brilliantly talented and experienced Katherine Prado; to
the wonderfully talented Marissa Rubio; to the quirky,
talented Eric Guisinger; to her legacy and hard work;
Robyn did not leave Mesa Drama empty-handed! I am
honored to stand on the shoulders of giants in this
capacity! Thank you, Robyn, positively for influencing my
life's path, and the paths of countless others!

In 1929 Sir J.M. Barrie bequeathed Peter Pan to Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London, which has benefited thousands of children since then. The producers are proud and happy that everyone who has bought a ticket for today’s performance of Peter Pan JR. is helping towards making the hospital the incredible center of hope it is today.
