Newsies Cast

Nora is currently a senior at MHS and is thrilled to be playing the role of Jack Kelly! She is the co-president of SADD, as well as a member of Relay for Life and Best Buddies. Nora also plays on the MHS lacrosse team and is actively involved in the choral program. Outside of school, Nora loves hanging out with her friends and traveling. Lastly, she would like to thank her friends and family for their support over the last 3 years!

Ellie is a current senior here at MHS and has been in almost every show since freshman year. Her favorite roles here at MHS Theatre include the Cheshire Cat, Toto and Crutchie! She would like to let the cast and crew know that it has been a blessing performing with them and hopes that their futures are bright.

Haley is currently a freshman and is very excited to be in Medway High School's production of Newsies. She is playing the role of Davey. Some of her previous productions at Medway Middle School include Frozen Jr. Oliver Jr. and Freaky Friday. In her free time Haley likes to hang out with friends and family and would like to thank them for all the love and support through the Newsies journey.

Ruby is currently a freshman and is so excited to be a part of the MHS theater program. She is thrilled to be playing her dream role of Les. Some of her favorite roles include, Ramona, Lavender, and Gwendolyn Heche. Outside of school, Ruby is also a part of the Colonials Synchronized figure skating team and the NESC skating club. After school, you can find her figure skating or spending time with animals. She would like to thank her parents who have always supported her and helped her reach her goals.

Kaitlyn is currently a freshman and is excited to be joining the MHS theatre program! She is excited to be playing the role of Katherine. Some of her favorite roles from Medway Middle School include Elsa from Frozen Jr and Nancy from Oliver Jr. She is also a part of the lacrosse and soccer team here at MHS. After school, you can find Kaitlyn singing and playing sports. Lastly, she would like to thank her family and friends for all of their support!

Liam McCarthy is a sophomore and is thrilled to be a part of this production of Newsies as the roles of Wiesel/Roosevelt/Stage manager/Mr. Jacobi. He would love to thank his family and his wonderful cat Peaches.

Amber is a freshman at Medway High and so excited to be a part of the Medway production of Newsies. She is playing the role of Oscar and Darcey. Amber has previously been in Alice and Wonderland (The Dutchess) and part of the Snow Chorus in the Medway Middle School production Frozen Jr. Amber is also part of the Art Club! During her free time, she loves to spend time with her friends, draw and paint, and listen to music. She would like to thank her new friends from theatre for being so welcoming and providing so much support!

Paige is a Freshman at Medway High School and is thrilled to be a part of this production of Newsies. She is playing the role of Morris Delancey. Some of her previous roles include Oliver in Oliver! Jr. and Sven in Frozen Jr. at Medway Middle School. She'd like to thank her mother and brother for being supportive throughout high school so far.

Aidan Christie, a sophmore at Medway High School, is thrilled to play the part of Joseph Pulitzer in this production of Newsies. Previous Medway High School parts include Dormouse (Alice in Wonderland), Uncle Henry/Emerald City Guard (Wizard of Oz), and Colonel Mustard (Clue). He is also currently rehearing the role of Vlad in Montrose's production of Anastasia. In his free time, Aidan enjoys singing in choral events, participating in acapella, and running long distance. He would like to thank his brother Brooks for always helping rehearse lines!

Jules is a senior at Medway High School and thrilled to be in MHS's production of Newsies! She is playing the role of Race and is so excited to be working with the amazing cast and crew. She has performed in other MHS shows including Peter Pan (Nibs), Clue (Mrs. White), Wizard of Oz (Lollipop Guild), and Alice in Wonderland (Alice). She would like to thank all of her friends for their endless support and her family for encouraging her.

Jules is currently a junior and is very thrilled to be a part of this production of Newsies, playing the role of Albert. Some of her previous productions she's acted in include Wizard of Oz, Clue, Peter Pan, and Canterbury Tales. Jules is also a part of ITS, Newswatch, Project Green, and Book Club here at MHS. When she's not on stage, you can find her playing the guitar, drawing, writing, and working on short films. She would like to thank her family and friends for all of their support!

Emma is currently a freshman and is excited to join the MHS drama program this year! She is currently playing the role of Buttons, one of the many Newsies. Some of her favorite past roles include playing Dodger in Oliver Jr., and playing Anna is Frozen Jr. at Medway Middle School. Here at MHS Emma is also part of the field hockey and lacrosse sports teams. She enjoys hanging out with her family during her free time. Lastly, she would like to thank her loving and supportive family.

Kaitlyn is currently a junior and is excited to be back with the MHS Theatre Program! She is excited to be playing the role of Elmer. Some of her favorite roles include White Rabbit, Warrior Girl and Frankie. Kaitlyn is also a part of the A Cappella Club, Track Team and the ITS clerk and scribe here at MHS. After school you can find Kaitlyn playing guitar, singing, and reading. Lastly, she would like to thank her family and friends for all of their support and Ms. Tetreault!

Maggie is currently a freshman and is excited to be in her first High School Musical with the MHS Theatre Program! She is excited to be playing the role of Finch and Spot Conlon. Some of her favorite roles include Olaf (Frozen Jr.) and Kitty (Freaky Friday Jr.). Maggie is also a part of the Field Hockey and Best Buddies Club here at MHS. After school you can find Maggie hanging out with her friends, singing, and playing sports. Lastly, she would like to thank her family and friends for all of their support!

Shaelin is currently a junior and is excited to be back with the MHS Theatre Program! She is thrilled to be playing the role of Henry. Some of her favorite roles include Jukes in Peter Pan, Prince Charming in Into the Woods, and being ensemble for Wizard of Oz, Shae is also a part of the Book Club here at MHS. Outside of school Shae loves hanging out with friends, writing, and listening to music. Lastly, she would love to thank her family and friends for all their support!

Christina is a senior at MHS and is thrilled to be back performing with the MHS theater program. Aside from working as assistant director and in the light crew at MHS she has also performed various roles in Clue, Canterbury Tales, and Footloose. Outside of school she records with the Enharmonix recording group and takes voice lessons at Encore Music Academy. She would like to extend a special thanks to her family, friends, and past and present cast members for all their support through the years, and can't wait to carry on in her study of music and the performing arts in the years to come!

Rowan is currently a sophomore and is so excited to be performing on the MHS stage again! She is very thrilled to play Mush in this production of Newsies. Rowan has done many shows with the Medway Theater program such as the Wizard of OZ (MHS) Oliver Jr, and Freaky Friday Jr. with Medway Middle School. Rowan is also a part of NewsWatch, Acapella, and is a member of the International Thespian Society. During her free time, you can find her crocheting, spending time with family and friends, and being a volunteer at the Stadium Theatre.

Anna is currently a sophomore and is so excited for her first MHS production! She is playing the role of Romeo in the show! Anna is a part of the field hockey team, 533 Community Service Club, and the 40% Club. After school, Anna loves to dance. She would like to thank all her friends and family for their support!

Izzy currently a junior and is excited to be back with the MHS Theatre Program! She is excited to be playing the role of Specs. Izzy is also a part of the Science O Club, WOD, and Track here at MHS. After school hours you can find Izzy reading, singing and hanging out with friends. Lastly, she would like to thank her family and friends for all of their support!

Gabby is a freshman here at MHS. She is back for her second show with MHS theatre and is thrilled to be playing the role of Seitz! Gabby is also part of the A Cappella club. You can always find Gabby singing and dancing. She is thankful for all of her mom's support.

Emma is a sophomore and is excited for her 3rd show at the MHS Theatre Program! In her free time Emma often spends it reading and spending time with her family and friends. Emma would like thank her family for all their support!

Alejandra is a sophomore and excited for her first time in this year's MHS Theatre Program! She's excited to play the role of Hannah. Alejandra is a part of Book Club, Jesus Club, and plays volleyball at MHS. After school you can find her journaling, singing at church, and baking. She would like to thank her family for always being supportive. She would also like to thank her friends for being kind, supportive, and uplifting during rehearsals and outside of school.

Zach is currently a senior and is excited to be back with the MHS Theatre Program, playing the role of Snyder in MHS's production of Newsies. Zach is also a part of several extracurricular activities here at MHS such as the Science Olympiad club, the Robotics Team, and the Jazz Band. After school, you can find Zach baking, writing music, and participating in local ensembles. Zach would like to thank his friends and family for their continued support of him throughout the year.

Faye is a Sophomore at Medway Highschool and is thrilled to be a part of Newsies. She will be playing ensemble and a Bowery Beauty. Faye was previously in Clue and Alice in Wonderland as tech and the Wizard of Oz as cast. She would like to thank her friends and family for their support!

Mikayla is a freshman and is happy to be in the high school production of Newsies. She is playing the part of Scab 3 and an ensemble newsie. Previous performance parts include a Guard in Frozen Jr. at Medway Middle School. In her free time Mikayla likes to sing and play sports. Mikayla would like to thank all her family and friends who encouraged her to audition.

Faith is a freshman and is excited to be experiencing the MHS Theatre Program! She is excited to be playing the role of a Scab/Newsie. Faith is also a part of the field hockey team here at MHS. After school, you can find Faith hanging out with friends, shopping, and listening to music. Lastly, she would like to thank her friends and family for all their support!

Auggie is happy to be in this MHS production of Newsies. He will be playing the roles of Nunzio/Mayor/Police Officer/Guard. Auggie has previously been in MHS's Alice in Wonderland (King of Hearts). He has played the roles of Kristoff in Frozen Jr., Mr. Brownlow in Oliver Jr., and Ephrain Salas in TRAP. In Auggie's free time, he enjoys drawing and watching TV with his dad. He wants to thank Aidan Christie (Mr. Pulitzer) for making this show a great experience.

Fiona is currently a freshman and is thrilled to be a part of her first musical at MHS! She is excited to be a part of the show's ensemble. Fiona Is also a part of both Volleyball and Track team here at MHS. After school you can find Fiona, with her friends, watching movies, and playing volleyball. Lastly, she would like to thank her mother, aunt, uncle, sisters, and grandfather for all their support.

Michelle Pishchik is currently a senior and is excited to join this year’s musical, "Newsies", as the stage manager! She is also a part of the Medway Science Olympiad, the newspaper, and the Model UN club. Michelle would like to thank her friends and family for all their support throughout her theatre journey!

Lily is a sophomore and is excited to be back with the MHS Theater Program! She was thrilled to help paint the set and be backstage! After school you can find Lily painting and reading. She would like to thank her family and friends for all of their support!!

Bridget is a junior and is happy to be back with the MHS Theatre Program. Bridget helped with set painting and is assistant stage manager for this production of Newsies. Outside of theatre you can find Bridget hanging with friends and playing guitar.

Riley is a current senior and is very excited to be back as the Lighting Manager for Newsies! She is also the Treasurer of Medway International Thespian Society. Outside of Theatre, Riley is a part of the Science Olympiad team, Robotics team and Model UN. She enjoys playing the piano, learning languages, and embroidering. Next school year she will be majoring in mathematics, physics and linguistics at Northeastern University. She would like to thank all of her friends, family and her boyfriend for all of their support over all of these years!

Chloe is currently a senior here at Medway High School. She is excited to be a part of the musical this year as the costumes manager. Outside of the musical, she is also a member of the 533-community service club and the tennis team. After school she enjoys hanging out with friends and family. Finally, she would like to thank her family for the support.

Newsies is Sofia's third and final show. She is excited to take on the role of Hair and Makeup Manager with such a large cast. In addition to theatre, Sofia has leadership roles in the National Honor Society, Newspaper Club, and Class Office. When not in school, Sofia can be found enjoying an iced matcha latte whilst baking.

Lily is a current sophomore and is a member of the MHS Theater tech crew, with a passion for art and creativity. She is active in Project Green and the art club here at MHS, they bring unique artistic skills to every project. When not working behind the scenes, Lily enjoys staying active in the gym and snowboarding. All in all, she would like to thank her family for all of their love and support!

JJ is currently a junior and has enjoyed being part of Props, Set, and Sound Crew during this show. She is looking forward to her last few shows next year with the theatre program.

Domenic is currently a junior and is in his second to last year with MHS Theatre! He is currently involved with Props and Set Crew but has worked with the Backstage Crew on previous shows. He has been a part of the theater program since 2023 and has learned so much since then about theatre. Domenic also plays a major part in bringing Medway Cable Access's Medway Newswatch to the school every week. In his free time, you can usually find him volunteering as an Engineer and Conductor at Waushakum Live Steamers. He wouldn't be where he is without all the support that he has received from his family and friends!

Vanessa is currently a junior and is excited to be back with the MHS Theatre Program! This is her sixth show at MHS. She is excited to be House Manager and part of the Backstage Crew. Vanessa is also a member of the MHS International Thespian Society, Art Club, Project Green, Student Council, and 533 Community Service Club. When not in school, you can find her hanging out with friends and family. Lastly, she would like to thank her mom, dad, brother, and all her friends for their support!

Noah is currently a freshman and is excited to be back with the MHS Theatre Program! He is excited to be an assistant lighting tech. Noah is also a part of the Newswatch and Robotics clubs here at MHS. After school you can find Noah Swimming, doing homework, or other nerdy things (like drawing in Desmos). He would like to thank his family and friends for being there for him.

Becca is a senior at Medway High School and is a part of the costume crew. She was also on costume crew for the fall play "Alice in Wonderland.' Her dream is to become a fashion designer. Becca's favorite play is Romeo and Juliet, and she takes inspiration from her favorite actor and style icon, Audrey Hepburn.

Jackie is currently in freshman year and is extremely excited to be doing this show with MHS Theatre! She is currently doing spotlight for the show. Jackie is also part of green team and best buddies. After school you can find Jackie spending time with her friends and family. Lastly, she would like to thank the people who have continued to support her through everything!

Elizabeth is currently a sophomore who is excited to be back with the MHS Theatre Program. Elizabeth is a part of the set painting and costume crew. In her free time Elizabeth enjoys cooking and baking. During the fall you can find Elizabeth playing on the Medway High girls soccer team as a defender and in the spring as a short distance runner for the track and field team.

Delia is currently a sophomore in Medway Highschool, and she is excited to be a part of the MHS Theatres production of Newsies! Delia contributed to the costumes and backstage department during this production. While not working away in theatre, Delia enjoys following her passions in art and fashion. She has appreciated the process of this year's show, is looking forward to joining the MHS Theatre in any future productions!

Jaz is currently a junior here at MHS. She is excited to be a part of the hair and makeup crew as well as backstage crew! Additionally, Jaz is a part of Medway High School's Project Green, in which she has served as the President for the past year. After school you can find her hanging out with friends or family. Lastly, she would like to thank her family and friends for all of their support.

Riley currently a sophomore and is excited to be back with the MHS theatre Program! She is excited to be part of tech crew. She enjoys playing volleyball and playing with her dogs. She would like to thank her family for all their support.

Destiny Fortes is a freshman and is excited to be part of the MHS Theatre Program. She works on set building and enjoys helping bring the stage to life behind the scenes. Outside of theater, she’s also on the track team. In her free time, she enjoys doing ballet. A special thanks to her family and friends for their support.

Paty is currently a sophomore and very excited to be participating in the MHS Theatre Program this year! She is excited to be apart of tech. Paty is also a part of the 40% Club, and Cross Country team here at MHS. After school you can find Paty painting, reading or going for a run. She would like to thank her teachers for their support and patience!

Emma is currently a junior and is excited to be back with the MHS Theater Program. She is on the set crew. Emma is also a part of the 40% club of Happiness and 533 here at her school. She is also a member of the National Honors Society. After school you can find Emma taking art classes and playing with her dogs. Lastly, she would like to thank her friends and family for all their encouragement.

Parley is a junior at Medway High School and in her free time she enjoys playing volleyball and singing. Parley is participating in the crew this year after being in the past two shows. She wants to thank her friends and family for her support and love!

Dani is currently a junior and is excited to be back with the MHS Theatre Program! She is part of the tech crew, and helps maneuvering the sets! Dani is also apart of 40% club and World of Difference. On the weekends you can find Dani at church. Lastly, Dani loves spending time with her family and friends.

Myinne is currently a junior and is excited to be back with the MHS Theatre Program! She is part of the tech crew and helps maneuvering the sets! Myinne is also a part of Yearbook, WiStem, and Acapella club here at MHS. In her free time, Myinne enjoys cooking, shopping, and hanging out with friends. Finally, she would like to thank everyone for coming to show their support!

Sarah is a freshman and loves theater. She was a part of the Middle School theatre Program and is excited to join the high school program. Sarah is also a part of the BC2M club here at MHS. After school you can find her hanging with friends, going outside or staying after school.

Carter is currently a sophomore and is excited to be back with the MHS Theatre Program! He is thrilled to be in the crew. Carter is also a part of the basketball team and newspaper club here at MHS. After school you can find Carter drawing or playing basketball. Lastly, he would like to thank his mom, dad, and sister for all of their support!
