About Peter Pan

Come and be whisked away to a place where dreams are born and no one grows up!

The story of Peter Pan is one that we are thrilled to be bringing to life at Medway High School. The iconic story begins when one night Peter and his sidekick Tinker Bell pay a visit to the Darling Nursery. What results is an adventure that will forever changes the lives of Peter, as well as the Darling Children (Wendy, Michael, and John). Peter takes them across the stars to Neverland where they befriend Peter's very own group of Lost Boys, who would follow him to the ends of the earth. They encounter many other faces on this perilous journey, including the villainous Captain Hook and his band of thieving pirates, the unforgettable Tiger Lily and her fierce group of warriors, as well as a certain ticking crocodile.

Over time, the show of Peter Pan has become one of Broadway's most celebrated and told productions. Our cast and crew have been working tirelessly to help bring to life this incredible show that is sure to speak to the child within all of us, who wanted nothing more than to stay young forever and soar across the stars.

Medway High School Theatre Program

Come and experience the wonders of the Medway High School Theatre Program!

The Medway High School Theatre Program has been a staple of Medway's community, putting on spectacular shows for multiple years. Each year, a Fall play and Spring musical are put together with the help of Ms. Tetreault, the director, the incredible cast and crew of Medway High School students, and a few other special guests. Typically, the Fall play is held in November and the Spring musical is held in March.

In addition to participating in the Medway High School theatre program, Medway has its own International Thespian Society (ITS) chapter. The International Thespian Society recognizes the achievements and encourages the work of students in theatre, in both performance and production. To get inducted into ITS, you need a minimum of 12 points. Points are gained through performing with our cast or helping with our crew. Officers for our chapter are elected in the Spring and help lead ITS. The current officers are Joey Gangitano (president), Scotty O'Shea (vice president), Olivia Dwyer (secretary), Nora Sullivan (treasurer), and Hannah Tomarakos (scribe). Officers and members of ITS are a critical part of the theatre program at Medway, helping to fundraise and raise awareness when shows are occurring within the community of Medway.

In past years, the theatre program has done The Little Mermaid, Anything Goes, Footloose, and The Canterbury Tales, and it is our hope to continue growing and expanding our theatre program to the school community and the town of Medway to help bring joy to those that love theatre as much as we do!
