Chase the Dragon Cast

Romeo Lopez is an actor, writer and director in Las Vegas NV. Currently a student at UNLV a part of the SSA program. He is very happy and excited to be apart of the MD Virtual Ensemble. Romeo is also apart of "the Fishermen" an artist ensemble who perform improv, music, theater and produce various digital art pieces. ​

Kate Monnig has appeared in several theatre productions including A Free Man and The Funeral Plays while attending the University of Nevada, Reno. She graduated from the university with a BA in Theatre and Business minor. A military brat, Kate spent her childhood in Las Vegas Nevada, and Brussels, Belgium throughout her teenage years. Kate now lives in Maryland and is working on various productions virtually. She enjoys working on devised theater and collaborating with her peers and excited to be part of MD Virtual Ensemble.

Bob Ives has performed in over 70 live theater productions, and directing more than 30. His early experience was primarily Shakespeare, including ten years with a Shakespeare festival in Texas. Major Shakespeare roles have included the title role in Titus Andronicus, Orlando in As You Like It, Edmund The Bastard in King Lear, and Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. He has also directed about a dozen productions of Shakespeare’s plays. Contemporary roles include Atticus Finch in To Kill A Mockingbird, Alex Priest in Heisenberg, Gene Garrison in I Never Sang For My Father, and the Stage Manager in Our Town. Contemporary directing experiences include The Velocity of Autumn, The Children, Harvey, and Antigone. Bob has had opportunities to train with Members of the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Royal National Theatre, Corin Redgrave, and the Tony Award winning Alley Theatre.

Morgan Moessinger knew she loved performing and acting when her mom put her in acting classes at four years old. From there she started doing theatre starting in second and continuing all the way into college. She’s been in numerous musicals such as Suessical, Hairspray, Music Man, and Urinetown. She graduated from UNR with a BA in Theatre and was able to be in productions there such as, Family Portrait, All in the Timing, and Shakespeares’ Twelfth Night. She now lives in LA and is pursuing a career in TV and film acting. Theatre holds a very special place in her heart and she’s excited to collaborate and experiment with MD Virtual Ensemble.

Diana Martinez is a stage and screen actress based in Mexico City, as well as a third-year student at Televisa’s Centro de Educacion Artistica. Some of her recent credits include; Noemi in Nunca Estuviste Tan Adorable (CEA Televisa), Patty in The Portuguese Kid (LVLT), Elizabeth in Six Degrees of Separation (LVLT), Beverly in The Shadow Box (CEA Televisa ), and Denise in Bright Ideas (CEA Televisa). She is so thankful for the opportunity to continue connecting with people during this tough time and is very excited to be a part of the MD Virtual Ensemble. ​
