Rob is a seasoned actor whose captivating performances have graced stages worldwide. With a diverse repertoire, he has left his mark on the theatrical landscape, showcasing his talent and versatility. Among his recent accomplishments, Rob stood out as Pomp in the World Premiere and subsequent World Tour of "Pomp, Snow and Cirqueumstance." Audiences were enthralled by his portrayal of Jack Singer in "Honeymoon in Vegas" at the Marietta Theater Company, and he brought Seymour Krelbourn to life in a memorable rendition of "Little Shop of Horrors" with the Celebration Theater Company. His journey also led him to South Korea, where he served as a resident actor, designer, and artistic director for English Musicals Korea for three enriching years. Rob's passion for the stage transcended borders, and he contributed to the magical atmosphere at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. With roles ranging from Nachum/Yussel in "Fiddler on the Roof" at City Springs Theater to Ensemble/US Robin/US Patsy in "Spamalot," Rob has proven his adaptability and dedication to the craft. Marcus Hopkins - Turner (Don Giovanni)
Marcus Hopkins-Turner, a proud Atlanta native, stands as a testament to the vibrant talent emerging from the city. As a dedicated father of two and an alumnus of Morehouse College, he has seamlessly woven his passion for the arts into a diverse tapestry of regional and Atlanta-based performances. Having graced stages with his presence, Marcus has left an indelible mark on the theatrical landscape. Notable regional credits include his captivating portrayal in "Prince of Egypt" at Tuacahn, a compelling performance in "Fences" at the Springer Opera House, and a memorable role in "Porgy and Bess" at the Red Mountain Theatre. Atlanta, his artistic playground, has witnessed his brilliance in productions such as "Hands Up" and "A Christmas Carol" at the Alliance Theatre, the timeless "Julius Caesar" at The Shakespeare Tavern, and the thought-provoking "Support Group for Men" at Horizon Theater, among others. Andrew Gilstrap (The Commander)
Atlanta local Andrew Gilstrap is quickly rising to be one of the premiere bass-baritones of his generation, known for his dramatic interpretations and musical sophistication. He is an alumnus of the respective studios/apprentice programs of the Bayerische Staatsoper, Des Moines Metro Opera, Minnesota Opera, and Wolf Trap Opera. Career highlights include the roles of Leporello in Don Giovanni with Wolf Trap Opera, Antonio in Le nozze di Figaro and Il padre di Nencio in L’infedeltà delusa with the Bayerische Staatsoper, Basilio in Il barbiere di Siviglia and Immigration Officer in Flight with Minnesota Opera, and Sourin in Pique Dame with Des Moines Metro Opera. This year, he performed the roles of Horace Derwent in The Shining and Masetto in Don Giovanni with The Atlanta Opera. He will make multiple concert debuts this season, namely in Frankenstein with The Atlanta Opera, Messiah with the Chattanooga Symphony and Opera, and Brahms’ Ein deutsches Requiem with the Georgia Tech Symphony Orchestra. He will also appear in Atlanta Opera’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream this season in the role of Starveling. Gilstrap holds degrees from the University of Houston’s Moores School of Music, where he studied with Timothy Jones. He graduated with a Bachelor of Music in 2016 and a Master of Music in 2018. In his spare time, Gilstrap enjoys cooking and baking for his family and long walks with his Yorkie mix, Westley.
Caitlyn Walters (Donna Anna)
Caitlyn Walters, a versatile soprano celebrated for her remarkable coloratura and soubrette performances, splits her time between Atlanta, Georgia and Sarasota, Florida. Her transcendent vocal prowess and captivating stage presence have graced esteemed opera houses and concert halls across the globe. Performing with a fervor that enraptures audiences, Caitlyn has showcased her talent in an array of iconic roles. Her international debut at the Berlin Opera Academy in 2022 marked a milestone in her burgeoning career, earning acclaim for her emotive delivery and nuanced portrayal. Caitlyn's versatility shone brightly in her roles with Opera Naples and FGCU Opera, including memorable performances as Madame Goldentrill in ”The Impresario”, Olympia in “Contes d’Hoffmann”, and a standout portrayal as Gretel in “Hansel & Gretel”. Her dedication and talent have earned her accolades such as Finalist in the First Annual Aria Competition at Opera Viva! and Second Place in the Van Sickle Scholarship Competition by the SWFL Symphony Endowment Foundation, all rooted in extensive education and training. Caitlyn attained her Bachelor of Music degree with a major in Vocal Performance from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2023. Under the tutelage of renowned mentors such as James Patterson, Dr. Jeanie Darnell, and Dr. Madelyn Gearheart, Caitlyn refined her exceptional vocal range and stagecraft, enhancing her ability to embody the soul of each character she portrays. Timothy D. Parrott (Don Ottavio)
Timothy D. Parrott is a Multi-Genre, self-trained, musician and actor who has become a presence in the areas of music, theatre, television and film. Theatre credits include: Congressman John R. Lewis in SELMA The Musical: The Untold Stories (Broadway’s 54 Below/ IC Theatre Co.), Judas (cover) in Jesus Christ Superstar Gospel (Alliance Theatre), Pa, (Mister & Ol’ Mister covers) in The Color Purple (City Springs Theatre Company), and Black Nativity (Kenny Leon’s True Colors Theatre Company). Sammy Davis Jr. in I DREAM (Musical Dramatic Arts, Inc.), a soloist in James Baldwin’s The Amen Corner (Kenny Leon’s True Colors Theatre Company), and a Player in Bob Fosse & Stephen Schwartz’s PIPPIN (Stage Door Players). Opera roles comprise: Remus (Scott Joplin’s Treemonisha), Sportin’ Life / Jake & Crown (George & Ira Gershwin’s Porgy & Bess), King Idomeneo (Mozart’s Idomeneo), Alphonse Picou (Jeff Crompton’s Jazz Opera- Buddy Bolden), and Emperor Tito (Mozart’s La Clemenza di Tito). Tim has performed with San Francisco Opera (Turandot, Carmen), Des Moines Metro Opera (Porgy & Bess) and sings regularly with The Atlanta Opera. He has been a soloist with The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Pops, has sung throughout Europe and is a member of both The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra’s Chorus & Chamber Chorus, respectively. Television credits include: Jazz Guitarist on Vampire Diaries (CW Network) and a Top 10 contestant on Gospel Dream (Gospel Music Channel). Various music performances include studio background vocals with the legendary Ray Charles, winning at the World-Famous Apollo Theatre, and recorded movie-studio soundtrack work for Tyler Perry Studios. Tim has sung the USA National Anthem for the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks (Phillips Arena), Showtime Boxing and for Atlanta’s V-103 radio station / Honda Battle of the Bands (Georgia Dome).
Savannah Bracewell (Donna Elvira)
Coloratura soprano Savannah Bracewell has been engaging audiences of all ages around her native Southeast. Hailing from Sharpsburg, Georgia, Savannah holds degrees in vocal performance from LaGrange College and Samford University. During her time at Samford, Savannah debuted the role of Zelda 1924 in the premiere of the award winning chamber opera: The Ghosts of Gatsby by Evan Mack and Joshua McGuire. She also performed the role of Mamá in the Mack and McGuire children’s opera: Lucinda y las Flores de la Nochebuena which toured schools and libraries across West Alabama. Most recently, Savannah has performed in Shreveport, Louisiana appearing as Goldie in the touring production of Goldie B. Locks and The Three Singing Bears and as Suor Genovieffa in Suor Angelica.
Kai Vaughn Engelmann (Guitars)
Kai Vaughn Engelmann is ecstatic to return to musical theatre in the world premiere production of Mozart’s Don Giovanni - A Rock Opera. Kai studied guitar privately at the Atlanta Institute of Music and developed a passion for musical theatre when he performed in the Serenbe Playhouse production of Hair in 2019. He displays exceptional technique and musicianship as guitarist for Hot Licks and Rhetoric, a Steely Dan Tribute Band which he founded in 2017. He can be heard on record with Harold Holloway’s Holloway Blues Experience Live in Atlanta, has performed internationally with The Carter Projekt on an Armed Forces Entertainment tour, and appeared on Bravo’s reality TV competition, The Kandi Factory, playing guitar alongside aspiring artists trying to jump start their careers with the help of Grammy award winning songwriter Kandi Burruss. Kai also entertains at private events with The Time of Your Life and Will & the Exclamation.
David Schroder (Bass Guitar)
David Schroeder hails from Atlanta Georgia, where he studied electric bass under Russ Rodgers and Oteil Burbidge. He has played a supporting role for local artists, such as Athena Renee, Emanuel “Chops” Smith, and Wesley Cook, with whom he has performed at Center Stage and Sweetwater 420 Festival opening up for such acts as Edwin McCain and Sublime. He doubles on the upright bass performing second chair in the Georgia State University Symphonic Orchestra and in the GSU Jazz Big Band, where he has performed with guest artist Alex Isles and Paquito D’Rivera. He has also gathered plenty of studio experience interning at Treesound Studios, as well as recording out of his own personal studio.
Chris Gravely (Drum Set)
Chris Gravely is an experienced freelance percussionist of 19+ years. He has studied drum set, hand drums, and classical percussion under various teachers such as John LaMattina, River Gueguerian, Michael Cebulski, Caleb Harron, Stuart Gerber, and Charles Settle. As a soloist, Chris has performed two concertos with the Georgia Perimeter Wind Ensemble, and also premiered works by composer Lowell Fuchs. He has played/plays in a variety of groups such as The Dekalb Symphony Orchestra, Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra, Korean-American Symphony Orchestra, APO, GSO, Loner, The Tin Man, Chamber Cartel, Lola Cole, Indee Killed the Popstar, The LOUDWALKERS, etc., in which he plays anything from found objects to timpani. In addition to being a performer, Chris is also a composer of classical and contemporary music. He premiered his solo album, LIFE, in March of 2017. In addition to his solo album, Chris sound designed and composed the score for Dangerous Women, an immersive horror experience, with The Weird Sisters Theatre project, Sanctuaries and Fortresses, a live dance premier work, Birth of Pleasure, the film adaptation of Sanctuaries and Fortresses, the theme song for the podcast “We Out Here”, and an original score for Frankenstein, an immersive theater experience by Found Stages, as well as original music for his own collective, THE LOUDWALKERS. Chris strives to show others how they too can turn a gift into a way of life through teaching percussion and drum set in the Atlanta area.
Guitars (Daniel Melton)
Daniel Melton (guitar) Daniel Melton is a professional Atlanta, GA guitarist, composer, and educator. In 2016, Daniel completed his Bachelors degree from Georgia State University in Jazz Studies. During his time at GSU, Daniel played for the Inauguration of Barack Obama, studied music in Shanghai, China, and performed alongside jazz greats Donny McCaslin, Joey Defrancesco, Paquito D’rivera, Bobby Shew, and Mike Abene. Since graduation, Daniel has toured overseas in the middle east, played guitar for theatrical productions all over the Atlanta area, and performed with a variety of Atlanta bands, notably: Mr.Bighead, The Nick Longo Trio, The Chops Experience, Danny Roundtree, The Ray Howard Band, and Groove Park. As a composer, Daniel is currently finishing his long-term project Danimidi; a decade-long music journal consisiting of 700 songs documenting his growth as a person.
Adam B. Levowitz (Conductor/Keyboards)
Adam B. Levowitz has been a composer, conductor, and producer for over 35 years. He is proud to have written the words and music of the official song of the Walter Reed Army Hospital in Washington, DC. “The Home of Warrior Care” was premiered at the celebration of the 100 year anniversary of that institution where Mr. Levowitz, who was a private in the United States Army at the time, was publicly honored by the Secretary of Defense and the Surgeon General of the United States. His work for the military continued with compositions for The United States Army Band, Pershing’s Own, where Mr Levowitz conducted his works composed for that ensemble on the steps of the US Capital. ​ Mr. Levowitz has received numerous instrumental and choral commissions from a variety of professional, amateur, and academic institutions.
