Writer’s unite! Does your child love telling stories, creating characters and writing? In this week-long camp, your child will have the opportunity to adapt a fairy tale for the stage, picking up “tools” along the way for their writer’s toolbox. This camp will have an emphasis on the process of play creation and will culminate in a staged reading of the work accomplished during the week!

The Mauldin Cultural Center has always been a welcoming space for the performing arts. In 2017, the facility became home to the newly established Mauldin Youth Theatre as they produced their inaugural play, Disney’s The Lion King, JR. Now, all theatre productions are under the Mauldin Theatre Company, with our performing arts schedule expanding to include more youth theatre, outdoor Shakespeare, musical revues, summer camps and a community theatre for both adult and youth actors!
