Something Rotten Cast

Kaylee is a sophomore and participates in the Drama Club and Mascoutah Show Choir, as well as her competitive dance team outside of school. She has done many theater productions before, and has done roles such as Serena in LEGALLY BLONDE, Feste in TWELFTH NIGHT, and Singing Telegram Girl in CLUE. She is excited to be in SOMETHING ROTTEN and would like to give a shoutout to her sister Addie for inspiring her to join theater and her parents for supporting her.

Amari is a senior and is also the president of the MHS Thespian Society. He does extracurricular activities such as Track and Show Choir and also participates in theater outside of school. This is his second musical and second time student directing. Previous roles include CLUE as Mr.Green, LEGALLY BLONDE as Sundeep Padamadan and Nikos Argitakos, TWELFTH NIGHT as Sir Andrew and his favorite, THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE ABRIDGED where he played a multitude of characters to get through 36 plays in less than two hours. Amari would like to thank the cast, the crew, his family and his friends for making this last show at the high school a good one.

Alyssa is a sophomore who has a big heart for music. She dedicates her time to singing and acting, whether that be at home in her room or on a stage. Alyssa has been in many productions such as CINDERELLA as Cinderella, SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS as the Evil Queen, LEGALLY BLONDE as Margot, TWELFTH NIGHT as Antonia, and many more. Alyssa would like to thank her parents, brother, and friends for supporting and encouraging her with her music and acting journey.

AJ is a senior and has kept busy with band, show choir, and theater. As of late, AJ has been cast in CLUE: ON STAGE as Mr. Boddy, LEGALLY BLONDE as Dewey, TWELFTH NIGHT as The Captain, and now in SOMETHING ROTTEN as both Shakespeare and Shylock. AJ would like to thank Scot Erickson for encouraging him to start theater, and for breaking his crippling stage fright. Another thanks goes out to Mr. Rice for creating a welcoming environment for AJ to find his voice and talented passion for singing.

Cricket Hirsch (Clapham) Cricket is a Senior who has participated in many productions through MHS throughout their high school career. They starred as Viola in Shakespeare’s TWELFTH NIGHT, played Whitney in LEGALLY BLONDE, Mysterious Figure in CLUE, Jimson in THE INVISIBLE MAN, and as ensemble for both 10 WAYS TO SURVIVE A ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE and NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD. Following high school, Cricket would like to study woodworking and ceramics.

Jim Miller is a Senior who is very active in the arts at MHS. He enjoys his time singing in the MHS Show Choir as well as the Concert Choir. Jim is very active in the theater community. He has been in shows both in school and out including CLUE: ONSTAGE, LEGALLY BLONDE: THE MUSICAL, GUYS AND DOLLS and THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE ABRIDGED. He has also enjoyed some time acting for student films and was prominently featured in the short film DOUBT, directed by Joshua Rodregiz. Jim would like to thank his Mom, Dad, and Brothers for supporting him in his pursuit of theater and music.

Aggie is a sophomore heavily involved in Track and Field, Good Vibe Tribe, and show choir at MHS. Though Aggie is primarily new to musical theater, she enjoys performing at concerts and will play guitar and sing for any crowd. Aggie is very excited about the new opportunities and experiences gained from being a part of the cast and would like to thank everyone, especially her vocal coach Mrs. Jenny Rea, for the extra encouragement!

Ben is a senior at Mascoutah High School and has built up a music repertoire over the last 2 years including show choir, AP music theory, ILMEA jazz district, and IMEA concert district both years. He excels in his classes and plans to move into real estate after high school. Alongside school and choir, he works full time hours as a server and enjoys building cars. Ben would like to give a special thank you to his family, friends, teachers, and the entire cast for their support.

Crispin is a freshman participating in a wide variety of extracurriculars such as: Track & Field, Student Council, Good Vibe Tribe and is an ILMEA All State Vocal Jazz Qualifier. Crispin has performed productions with multiple companies in St. Louis and Illinois, such as: MATILDA, DISASTER!, A CHRISTMAS STORY, and many more. Crispin would like to thank his family and friends, as they continue to support him throughout his career. He is so excited to make his High School debut as Nigel!

Justin Waltemate is a Junior who participates in a few extracurricular activities, such as Scholar Bowl, Science Club, and Drama Club. He has been in past Mascoutah High School performances like CLUE: ONSTAGE, LEGALLY BLONDE, and the three-man play THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (ABRIDGED). He is excited to be in this performance and would like to thank his family and friends for supporting him.
