The Martinsville City Public Schools Performing Arts Academy is a dynamic program that nurtures the talents of students from 3rd to 12th grade. Evolving from the Martinsville High School Drama Club, the Academy was officially established in 2022, offering a comprehensive curriculum that goes beyond the stage. Stud

ents gain skills in foreign languages, mathematics, language arts, social studies, physical education, and college and career readiness.

We produce two major performances each year, providing hands-on experience in all aspects of theater production. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in the scholarships we award to graduating seniors and the work-based learning opportunities we offer in areas such as producing, directing, and set design.
