Les Miserables: School Edition Cast

Christian (Jean Valjean) is a senior at Maranacook who was been doing theater since he started high school. He has been in MCHS productions such as A Plague Upon Me, The Iliad, The Odyssey, And All Of Greek Mythology In 99 Minutes Or Less, The Little Mermaid, Once Upon A Mattress and Clue. When he isn't maniacally laughing at his fellow crew/cast, he is studying his lines frantically or helping others with AP Biology. He hopes you all enjoy the show and that he doesn't have an epic fail.

Josie Walker is a senior at you guessed it, Maranacook. Over the past four years she has done not much, but one thing she has done was discover her passion for musical theater. She's starting this off with that so she can thank every one of you for supporting her theater journey. Specifically her dad for giving her countless rides and her mom for the enthusiasm for everything she does. I love you. Also a big thank you to Cassidy, Abby, Mila, Hannah, Hayden, Josie, Jordan, Emily, Trysten, Amelia, Noah, Maisie, and Dan. Anyways I was going to be funny but no one wants to read all of this so screw that! Enjoy the show! It's one of the last times you'll see me, so I hope you have fun!

Cassidy McCormack is a senior at Maranacook this year and she is playing the role of Fantine. A lot happens to Fantine within the first thirty minutes of this show! In the last show, she was pregnant and in this show, she's not! Which is cool! Cassidy adores this theater department because they are lovely people. Cassidy enjoys playing tennis on the MCHS girl's team and watching movies directed by Greta Gerwig.

Trysten Legassie has been in only 2 productions his sophomore year, which were Once Upon a Mattress and Clue On Stage. He can be a little loud and extroverted but he's very sweet. He's glad you are coming to see the show as it is AMAZINGGG!

Josie Charland is a senior (omg) at Maranacook this year, she's participated in theatre at Maranacook for as long as she could; from organizing costumes and props to actually being in the productions, Josie's always made sure that she was a part of the process. She is absolutely honored to play the role of "Cosette" alongside her best friend, Trysten and hopes that you enjoy watching the performance as much as she enjoyed being a part of it!

Hello there, Brayden has participated in 3 performances, 2 musicals 1 play. First musical was about a family traveling in space and he was the dad. Second musical was Once Upon a Mattress, he was stage crew, and the play was clue and he was Colonel Mustard. This year he is playing Thenardier and it will be fun.

Ilana Jones is a returning Senior at Maranacook. She is playing the role of Madame Thenardier the (Innkeeper's Wife). Ilana has done a few shows at Maranacook including Annie Jr. when she was in middle school, Plague Upon Me her Freshman Year, and Little Mermaid her Sophmore year. Ilana changed schools for her Junior year and returned for her final year of High school. Ilana is super excited to be back and be able to bring Les Miserables to the community.

Hannah is so excited to play Eponine in MCHS's production of Les Miserables. While she is sad it is her last musical here at maranacook, she couldn't think of a better way to end her school career. She has loved every musical she has done here, and thankful for all memories and friends made over the years. She hopes you enjoy this show as much as she has!

Arley is a sophomore at Maranacook and is proud to say that every character that they have played with Maranacook has died! Arley is playing Gavroche in this year's musical, and while it's not their favorite show, they are incredibly excited to be performing again!

Ella Martinez Nocito is enthusiastic about music, writing, classic literature, and historical revolutions, which means that Les Misérables is just about their ideal show. You may have previously seen them onstage as an idealistic kitchen wench or an entertainingly creepy professor, and offstage running for excessive periods of time in cross-country races or wherever someone’s discussing typefaces and the unit circle. They’ve had a complete blast getting to lead a literal revolution, and hope you enjoy the show as much as they have! They also hope that their death scene makes you cry. :)

WOMP WOMP Amelia didn't fill out her cast bio so Maddy is filling it out for her. Amelia may have been in a few shows before. Maybe you saw her in the clue understudy cast, maybe you didn't. Maybe you came and saw Once Upon A Mattress! She might've been there too. Unfortunately, none of these things can be confirmed until Amelia fills out a cast bio.

Taylor O'Donoghue is a Freshman at Maranacook High school this is her second play and first musical her fist play was the role of Meg in Little Women. She is excited to connect music to the theater for this production and has had an amazing time with play and hopes to continue in the theater through out her high school years.

WOMP WOMP Nicholas didn't fill out his cast bio so Maddy is filling it in for him. Nicholas might've been in Once Upon A Mattress, maybe not though. Any past shows he might've been in are unknown, for he has not filled in a cast bio.

Madeleine is totally overbooked but trying to make the best of it. This will be her second musical at Maranacook, having been a part of the ensemble cast of Once Upon a Mattress prior. She has been in a few plays too, having been Hamlet in a previous production of Hamlet and the Understudy of Mrs. Peacock in Clue on the stage. She's super proud of the cast and crew this year and thinks that Les Mis is a show worth seeing.

Chianna Morrison is a senior with a bright future. She has been in several plays and musicals in the past like in middle school she was Annie as the dog and a maid, and throughout the years of high school she has been in the little mermaid and Once Upon and Mattress. She is so excited for this musical cause it will be her last one here at Maranacook high. As a senior, she is determined to be a good role model and be there for the students like her mentor/play mom Ace was for her and all the new seniors, sophomores and juniors now.

Hayden Freeman is a senior this year (finally), and is excited to be in their 6th show here at mcook ! He excels in many things, writing cast bios is not one of them! Other silly things they do in their free time include slaying on the tennis team, making frequent trips between fayette and the local pizza hut, and accidentally swearing in front of maisy during rehearsal (my b maislay!). He’s throughly enjoyed being apart of fellowship that is mcook theater, and hopes you all enjoy the show!

Mattie Sechrist is a junior and this is her first drama production she has been involved in. Although she had never been involved with a production before she is well informed of many musicals including Les Mis.

This is Jacob's freshman year at MCHS, He was in previous productions throughout MCMS, such as Lord of the Pies, and Little Women. He is playing the role of Lesgles, in Les Miserables. Jacob likes to participate in ensembles, such as Concert Band, Jazz Band, (And possibly 'most likely' choir..)

This is Mariah Morin's 3 theater production with Maranacook Community High School. Her previous shows being Lord of the Pies and Clue. This is her first time being apart of a musical, she is very excited about this new experience.

This is Taylor's 4th production with Maranacook, her former being Annie, Lord of the Pies, and Once Upon a Mattress. She is in her second year of high school and is very excited to perform for everyone! she is also in the school's chamber choir and is a participant of the district music festival.

Jonathan Bell is a junior here at Maranacook. He plays football and baseball and he takes part in Choir and Jazzband. This is Jonathan's first show, but he went to acting camp in 4th grade (it didn't go great). He's scared, be nice.

Jack Crosby is a Junior at Maranacook. This is Jack's first performance with the MCHS Theater program, and he hopes you enjoy the show!

Wyatt is a Senior at MCHS and this is his third performance in the theater program, previously participating in "Once Upon A Mattress" and "Clue: On Stage". Wyatt is doing this musical largely because Dan voluntold him to, and he does not regret it one bit (maybe).
