Once Upon a Mattress Cast

Josie Walker is a Junior at Maranacook high school and this is her fourth theater production. She enjoys things such as eating soup from Panera, going to Homegoods and buying useless items (mostly gnomes), and naming inanimate objects. I hope you all love the show and give us a positive review on Rotten Tomatos or something.

Hayden is a junior this year at Maranacook and may or may not be writing this at 1am as this may or may not have been due a week ago (sorry Maddy, not Noah). Hayden’s done the last 3 shows here at Maranacook including last year, where Hayden was a dancing seagull, which you’ll soon find out isn’t far off from dauntless if you squint a bit. And hopes you won’t have to do too much explaining on the car ride home (no promises), and that you all enjoy the show :)

Your favorite crusty crab takes on Queen Aggravaine in her very last MCHS musical. She hopes that you enjoy the show!

Mila Barnes-Bukher is a junior and Once Upon a Mattress is her fourth play here at Maranacook. Previous roles include the Jester (A Plague Upon Me) and Chef Louis (The Little Mermaid). She is just tickled pink to be playing King Sextimus this year and honored that she was able to assistant direct this balling production. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Jaden is a little gremlin who worms his way into the cast of shows at Maranacook, sometimes through bribery and trickery. You might have spotted him last year on a boat. He really enjoys being a part of Maranacook theatre, and he is very sad to be leaving at the end of this year.

Cassidy McCormack is a junior at MCHS this year. Her previous shows include Annie Jr., 99 Minutes, A Plague Upon Me, and The Little Mermaid. She plays a pregnant lady in this show and she hopes you enjoy it!

Born in Las Vegas, Nevada, Christian has been living in Maine for over 11 years now. He has done other Maranacook shows in the past, like Café Murder, Annie, A Plague Upon Me, 99 Minutes, and The Little Mermaid. When he isn't staying up past 2:00AM to do his homework for school, Christian is a good natured person (usually) who gets along with almost anyone. In Once Upon a Mattress, Christian will be starring as the Minstrel. He is excited to be able to present to you this musical and hopes that everyone will enjoy the show.

Hannah is a Junior at Maranacook Community High School and has participated in all of the shows of the past two years. She is so excited to see the theatre program flourishing again at MCHS and cannot wait for this production of "Once Upon a Mattress," and hopes you enjoy the show!

Elijah is actually a wizard and whomever is reading this will obtain a nasty hangnail.

This is Taylor's 3rd production with Maranacook. Her previous productions being Annie Jr. and Lord of the Pies. She hopes to keep working with productions like this in the future.

Amelia McGowan (J-$ Jr.) is so excited to be a part of the cast of once upon a mattress. She's had such a great time working on this production and hopes you enjoy it!

Wyatt Stevenson is a junior at Maranacook high school and this will be his second ever musical. He participated in the Little Mermaid last spring. He is also part of chamber led by the one and only Dan Gilbert. He will be playing the role of one of the knights, Sir Harold. This show has created a lot of good memories for him and he hopes it will do the same for you!

Josie Charland is a junior here at Maranacook High School. She's loved working with this group for the past 3 years, whether it's as costume director or cast member, and is very excited for you to get to experience our interpretation of "Once Upon a Mattress!" Enjoy the show!

Chianna is a very short, very bright junior at Maranacook high school. She started to engage in drama during middle school, but was unable to do another play due to COVID. When she was a sophmore in high school, she got back into drama. With the help of Dan Gilbert she has grown so much these past 3 years with her anxiety. when she first started doing Drama she almost cried trying to sing in front of Dan for auditions. She is so grateful to Dan because he has pushed her and helped her believe she was good enough.

Ella Martinez Nocito is a 10th grader who is currently enjoying their first year of theater. They spend their free time reading voraciously, writing stories, and competing on math team.

Brooke has not been in any sort of play except the one in 1st grade. She played Snow White for an igneous rock. She has been in chorus for years except of Freshman year.

This is Esmé's second show at the high school. They are a senior who did Mamma Mia as a freshman and figured why not cap off their senior year with one more musical. They would like to give a shoutout to Elia Morgan for bringing them into this and then bailing on them at the last possible second and also shoutout to the stool that they tripped over and kicked about 30 times during rehearsal.

Allie LaBelle is a part of the ensemble and playing a knight in this year's musical. They are a senior and this will be the second show they are participating in. They were in Mamma Mia their freshman year and really enjoyed it so they figured they would end their high school career with one last musical. They want to shout out their fellow knights Esmé Jamison and Sophie Marr for joining the musical with them this year.

Morgan is a senior this year. This is their second show with Maranacook, their first being Mamma Mia their freshman year. They are excited to get back on the stage, this group is so fun and talented!

Maddy worked very hard this year as House Manager and part of the ensemble. She hassled people over their cast bios for a good month or so before anyone actually filled them out. She's super proud of everyone in this production, and hopes everyone enjoys the show!

Trysten Legassie has never done an ensemble before. It's his first time. He is hoping to have a good time, if not he will cry.

Nick Price is super excited to be a part of his first musical. He will be playing a knight! Even though he is a lesser character, he is still super happy to be part of it. This is a good way for him to finish off his high school career.
