One of the most popular Disney movies of all time is capturing hearts as a practically perfect musical! Based on the books by P.L. Travers and the classic Walt Disney film, Cameron Mackintosh and Disney'sMary Poppins delighted Broadway audiences for over 2,500 performances and received nominations for nine Olivier and seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

The jack-of-all trades, Bert, introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family members how to value each other again. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren't the only ones upon whom she has a profound effect. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that "Anything can happen if you let it."

Come join us for this spectacular show featuring Christiana Wittenmyer as Mary Poppins on July 17-19, 24, and 26 and Rachel Schludecker as Mary Poppins on July 25.

Maple Avenue United Methodist Church is an active congregation, filled with caring people, all sharing in the ministry of Jesus Christ. Our activities range from Christian education to music theater programs for everyone. Our 10 am Sunday morning worship service is filled will excellent music and great leadership. 

We provide a variety of programming to our congregation and the local community. Our Tree House Childcare ministry impacts the the lives of families in the community and provides love, laughter, and learning for our children. The other ministries and activities that we provide are: Theater Programs, Vacation Bible School, Summer Block Party, Trunk-or-Treat, Sunday School, Youth Group, and Bible Study. 

Through mutual support and encouragement by our multi-generational congregation, we are knitted together in a big family. In short, we have something here for everyone, and we believe we have something here for you. We were created to walk as God's children, following Jesus Christ, and filled with the strength of the Spirit. We would be honored and pleased to have you join us on our journey.
