Succession Cast

Christian Johnson, who goes by “He Who Is All,” is a 22 year old aspiring actor and dancer from Itta Bena, MS. This is Christian's third role having previously appeared in the plays "Drinks on Me" and “Afro Angel.” He currently serves as the student president of the National Association of Dramatic and Speech Arts. Christian also enjoys performing with M.A.D.D.R.A.M.A Performance Troupe. Christian enjoys acting because of freedom it allows him to have both on and off the stage. Christian lives by the quote "When you've seen beyond yourself, then you may find, peace of mind is waiting." - George Harrison.

Chandler Carter is a Sophomore speech communications major that currently goes to Jackson State university who has been performing since middle school. He’s performed many times at The Black academy of Arts and Letters performing in “Prince the Musical”, “80’s and 90’s musical review”, and “Tina Turner the musical”. He’s on the executive board for the performance troupe MADDRAMA as Mr.MADDRAMA for his organization. Chandler loves using his voice whether it’s for singing, acting, or being a motivational speaker. You’ll also be able to see him in the next production Eurydice this fall at Jackson State University. He would love to show his appreciation towards his Mother for helping him on his journey to being the actor he is.

Lyndon T. Hart is a graduating Senior Psychology major from Atlanta, GA. Although counseling is his first passion he finds great joy in music and performing in the theatre. During his tenure here at Jackson State University, he has performed all across the Southern belt with the Sonic Boom of the South as a trumpet player, and was later cast in a production of Afro Angel, written and Directed by Prince Duren in the Spring of ‘22. You can catch Lyndon in his newest role as he takes on the part of Hades, ruler of the underworld, in Eurydice, written by Sarah Ruhl and directed by our very own Yolanda Williams coming this Fall.

Addae’ Lane is from Nashville TN, a sophomore theatre major. After doing numerous shows here at JSU, her passion for acting continues . She would like to thank her family and friends for their continuous support.

Kaylyn Johnson is a Junior Theatre major from the city of soul, Jackson, MS. Having attended Ida B. Wells APAC for 9 years of her life, theatre has been an outlet for her since the age of 10. Since transferring to the university in the fall of 2021, she has been working on her skills in all aspects of theatre, focusing heavily on stage management and acting. Kaylyn currently serves as Miss MADDRAMA and is a member of SCENE 43

Nazir Imhotep is a Sophomore Theatre major from Chesapeake, Virginia. Nazir is also in the track team here at Jackson State University, where he competes in the 60, 110, and 400 meter hurdle events.
