Pets (and Their Humans) Cast
Michael Haberpointner (Brad)Michael Haberpointner (BRAD)
Michael Haberpointner is proud to live and work here in Port Ludlow. He has been busy as full-time physical therapist and clinic owner here with Active Life Physical Therapy since 2005. Michael is excited to perform again after an eighteen-year hiatus from his acting debut playing the multiple personality sheriff Virgil St. Vigil in playwright Whitney Ryan Garrity’s melodrama “Last Chance Inn: Calamity Gulch.” This was the Ludlow Village Players inaugural performance back in 2008. Michael could not pass up the opportunity to play the part of Brad and act alongside his daughter Anja for this season’s play “Pets (and their Humans).” Since time has flown by, it feels like he is starting over, but excited for the challenge and grateful for this unique opportunity! Outside of acting and treating patients, Michael loves the outdoors, sports, studying German with Anja, and spending time with his family.
Caroline Miner (Stefanie)Caroline is excited to make her acting debut with Ludlow Village Players. She is a recent transplant from Texas and grew up in the United Kingdom. She has been a nurse all of her career, most recently working locally as a school nurse. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying fit, dancing, and singing with The Choral Belles. She would like to thank LVP for this opportunity and her husband Jim for his continued support.
Starley Flynn (Titina)Starley is thrilled to be back on stage with the Ludlow Village Players, this time taking on the delightful role of Titina the dog in Pets and Their Humans. As Titina, Starley brings heart, humor, and a playful spark that captures the spirit of our beloved four-legged companions. As a life long animal fan, she is happy to have this fun opportunity to try this unique character. When she’s not entertaining audiences, Starley can be found hanging out with her family—Brandon and Alena—while her own dog, Biscuits, barks for attention.
Jeffrey Groves (Mac)Some years ago, Mr. Groves played a tree in a performance at Key City Theatre in Pt. Townsend. With this performance, he moves up the evolutionary chain. Progress! He is no stranger to LVP having been in numerous productions here such as "The Outsider", "Nightwatch" & "Murdered to Death" to name but three. As mentioned, he has also performed with Key City Players. In addition, he worked with Pt. Gamble theatre & a million years ago various community productions in Seattle, whence he came from. WOW. He currently resides in Pt. Townsend with hundreds of books & a new fridge. He would like to thank Kate for this role & cleaning his litter box every day...it's the little things that count. Thanks for coming. You WILL enjoy it!
Alena Flynn (Barb)Alena is so excited to have the opportunity to be in a full length production. They have previously been seen in summer camp productions of Candy Land and had a cameo appearance in LVP’s “In this House”. Alena is in the sixth grade and enjoys creating visual art, singing, and is an avid collector of ducks. If Alena had a super power it would be duck summoning. Alena's preferred pronouns are they/them.
Anja Haberpointner (Cassie)Anja is a second grader at Vinland Elementary School in Poulsbo. Besides English, she also speaks Spanish, German and Vietnamese. Her favorite color is purple. Light purple and dark. This play is her very first play ever. She is very nervous about doing the play in front of everyone. She is going to make her voice even Louder! So people can hear her. But it is hard because everyone off stage is a spectator and sometimes do not clap at the end. In the old days, spectators would sometimes throw rotten tomatoes. But, she thinks she will do okay, so they will not throw rotten tomatoes. When she saw another play last fall, she noticed that it must be very hard to do a play. There was a lot of things happening, all at the same time on stage!
Bella Rose Dillon (Scout)This is Bella. She is a really big nerd/fan of pokemon, and this is her first time ever doing a play.
