Mom's Gift Cast

Christie is very excited to be part of the Ludlow Village Players (LVP) Reader’s Theater Presentation. You might have seen Christie in LVP’s “Murdered to Death”, “Nunsense II”, and “All the King’s Women”. Christie also participated in LVP’s “It's a Wonderful Life” and “Ripcord” Reader’s Theater. Christie lives in Port Ludlow with her husband, Geoff (LVP’s Sound Director!), where they enjoy boating, cooking together, volunteering and participating in Port Ludlow community groups. After years of refusing to "tread the boards", Susan is leaving the back of the stage for the front of the stage. She has been with LVP since 2013 in various backstage capacities. While teaching, she worked with student performances and on costumes for Duluth Play House's student production of "Le Mis" and props for "Night Mother". She loves "Mom's Gift" and says SKOL!

Kim is returning for his second theatrical performance after a brief, 50-year hiatus. The missing decades were spent primarily living and working across Asia and the Pacific, where he held senior roles focused on climate change, environmental policy, peacebuilding, and family planning. Kim has since traded full-time work for quieter forms of impact through writing, consulting, mentorship—and now, apparently, drama. A Hansville resident, he’s often found on his deck, devoting an inordinate amount of time to staring across Hood Canal to the Olympics (and yes, the Port Ludlow coastline), pondering why his outer visage no longer reflects his thoroughly childish inner self.

Jenna has never acted on stage before and is so excited for her first show to be here in Port Ludlow, which she has been delighted to call home for herself and her three cats for almost four years. She is so grateful to all of the enormously talented and wonderful human beings in the cast and crew who made this event possible. She sends her thanks to everyone for coming and supporting community theater - and sends a special hello to your pets!

Lou began acting at a young age with her sister Caroline in Scotland, putting on plays for their father to make him laugh, complete with costumes and stage curtains. She has been with LVP a number of years. Reading with the play readers club, and performing in several plays. She loved her role in "Murdered to death" and "An Inspector calls" and the "Cemetery Club" to name a few. She is an animal and nature lover. Has 2 dogs, a cat and 3 birds (who talk).

Glenn's happy first appearance with The LVPs was in the lovely chamber musical “In This House.” Previously, at Key City Public Theatre, he appeared in the world premiere reading of “The Amazing Dr. Walsh,” a science fictiony thriller written in 1941 by Max Fleischer (the creator of Betty Boop!) A few short years back, Glenn relocated to the Olympic Peninsula from southern California, where he was a founding member of The Road Theatre Company. At The Road, he appeared in “Balm in Gilead” and “The Suicide,” as well as original scripts including “In the Name of the People” (later a tv movie) and “I-Land.”

Jim has appeared on the LVP stage over the years, where he was seen as a conman, lawyer, TV crime writer, Hamlet (not Shakespeare’s version), businessman, art dealer, governor’s chief of staff, policeman, butler, and Graceland guard. Tonight, you won’t see him, as he’ll be backstage, but you’ll hear his voice from time to time.
