MANDO ALVARADO is an award-winning playwright/screenwriter from South Texas. He was a Co-EP on IRON MIKE for HULU and was a Consulting Producer on WASHINGTON BLACK. He's been a writer/producer on BRAND NEW CHERRY FLAVOR, VIDA, GREENLEAF, and was a Co-Producer for SEVEN SECONDS. His plays have been produced Off-Broadway, The Atlantic Theater, The Kennedy Center, Two River Theater and Teatro Vista at Victory Gardens. He also co-wrote the book for the bilingual musical El Otro Oz, an adaptation of the Wizard of Oz, which is currently touring Los Angeles and playing in New York.

He has directed with LAByrinth, Planet Connections, Actors Theatre of NY, NY Theater Festival, Samuel French OOB Festival, and The Chain Theater along with award winning films in over 20 festivals.

Nicole Amaral
Nicole Amaral is a New York City native with Brazilian roots. She has extensive experience in theater both on and off stage. She is the Program and Outreach Manager of Developing Artists and Company Manager of Actors Theater Company. Some of her recent theater credentials include: “This God Damn House” at the Chain Theater (Stage Manager), “Men on Boats” at Atlantic Theater Stage 2 (Stage Manager), “El Comanchero” with Saudade Theatre (Stage Manager), "Clue but Black Workshop" at LA Broadwater Theater (Stage Manager/Co-Director/Lighting Designer/ Sound Designer), along with many other productions. Nicole is an alumna of Developing Artists Theatre Company where she was the recipient of the Kevin Geer Scholarship. She thanks them for believing in her and providing her with opportunities, knowledge and a family.
