LTV once again brings the world to East Hampton with this explosive and astonishing display of passion, virtuosity and a deep dive into the fascinating and colorful traditions of the Eastern European nation of Georgia. Join author and host Tsisnami (Sissy) Sakvarlishi as she welcomes to the stage the dancers, singers and musicians of PESVEBI, the leading Georgian Cultural Center from New York City making this rare East End appearance and debut. Shorena Barbakadze, Pesvebi's founder and lead choreographer, showcases the proud and potent Georgian traditions of dance as well as song, as performed live by the Georgian Youth Choir. In addition to a glorious performance, Tsisnami will read passages from her fascinating memoir Diary of a Red-Haired Girl, which will offer deeper and profound insights into the Georgian cultural and literary traditions. This is a unique matinee extravaganza performance not to be missed!
