Ken Ludwig's Moriarty Cast
David Blenderman (Sherlock Holmes)David started in theatre at the age of 4, when his dad took him to build theater sets in (then) mafia-controlled Las Vegas, during which time he drove almost one nail. Thereafter, his youth was filled with family participation in theatre through school and community. He graduated from Wayne State College with a degree in Mathematics and Theatre, after which he worked for two seasons at a repertory theatre as an actor and scenic designer. From there he leveraged a scholarship in the MFA graduate program at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, in scenic and lighting design, where he continued to hone his acting and design skills. Although his career path has led him to become a software engineer, he continues to be active in the theatre community whenever possible. You may have seen him in such productions as Rosencrantz and Gildenstern Are Dead (LTM), Extremities (LTM), The 39 Steps (Theater Harrisburg), Wild Lilly (LTM), and Best of The Partridge Family (parent’s living room). If you didn't, you really should try to get out more. In a recent interview he was asked what his favorite role is, to which he replied, "I'm sure I haven't done it yet."
Jonathan Crawford (Dr. Watson)Jonathan is delighted to be returning to theatre and making his debut at LTM. His favorite credits include the Fiddler from Fiddler on the Roof with CASHS Drama Club and Private Elvis Presby from Operation Christmas Child, among other plays and skits at New Guilford BIC Church growing up. He has a B.S. in Mathematics from Grove City College and is currently pursing a Master of Education from IUP. He is a teacher at Harrisburg High School.
Charles Miller (Professor Moriarty and Others [Actor 3])Charles Miller is so happy to be back at LTM doing his most challenging role yet. Charles has been doing theater for the past 5 years and he's so lucky to call LTM a second home. He one day hopes to act in movies and TV shows and possibly write for them. He'd also like to dedicate his performance to his beautiful fiancé, Annie, along with his late father (whom he misses every day), his amazingly supportive mother, his grandmother, Bobby Zaccano, Sam Eisenhuth, Mandi Hurley, Mark Myers and his amazing fiancé Kyle, Bethany Butler, Amy Dove, Josh Lebo, Jade Arwen, Aaron Booth, and the Kubaskos. He hopes you all enjoy the show and the game is afoot.
Ursula Culpepper Ayler (Irene Adler, Alice Adler, & Others [Actor 4])Ursula has been involved in theatre since middle school, performing in everything from school plays to local theatre. She is looking forward to her debut performance with The Little Theatre of Mechanicsburg and hopes it is the first of many with the company. Her favorite moments in theatre are opening night and the final curtain close.
Fred Prestine (Hilda, Daisy, and Others [Actor 5])Fred is excited to return to the LTM stage since last appearing here as Brindsley Miller in the 2019 production of Black Comedy. You may have also seen him at HCPAC last year when he played Jenkins in The Butler Did It. This production has been a blast, and he would like to thank his family and friends for all of their support. His grandma tried to teach him some Slovak when he was a kid, so she would be thrilled to hear him butchering the language once again in this show.
