About Staging Your Grand Exit: A Day of Death, Art, and Legacy

The Lineage Performing Arts Center is a place for unique artistic connections, inspiration, education and powerful experiences. Join Lineage for a one-day exploration of death, grief, legacy, creativity, and end-of-life planning. Through performances, workshops, stories, conversations, and practical tools, participants will explore how preparing for death can help us live more fully.

Together we'll examine advance directives, the Five Wishes, ethical decision-making, organizing our affairs, creating meaningful legacies, and the role of art in helping us navigate grief and mortality. Interwoven throughout the day will be performances drawn from Lineage's original works and community programs, illuminating how stories, movement, and memory continue long after we are gone.

Whether you're planning ahead, caring for loved ones, curious about death education, or simply interested in living more intentionally, this workshop offers practical guidance, creative inspiration, and meaningful conversation. This workshop is not about fear and sadness. It is about preparation, compassion, meaning, and inspired living.

Lunch, snacks, and a closing happy hour included.

Lineage Performing Arts Center

Lineage is your home for connecting through the arts; a place where you're invited to find your creative voice through dance, music, theater, and other performing arts. We produce our own performances, we serve as a home for visiting artists to produce their own work, and we create opportunities to grow and advance through education.
