Disney's The Little Mermaid Cast

Holly Holder (Ariel)
Holly is thrilled and honored to be performing as her life-long dream role, Ariel, even though she unfortunately does not know how to swim. Holly studied theatre at Duke University where she was an active member of the student-run musical theatre company Hoof-n-Horn. Holly performed with the group as well as directed the 2019 musical Cabaret. Previous roles include Alice in The Addams Family, Katherine in Taming of the Shrew, and Betty in White Christmas. Holly currently is getting her masters in psychology through Harvard University, teaching theater at Southeast Elementary School, and enjoying every second of rehearsing this magical show! She would love to thank Jordan and the rest of this kind and passionate crew and her incredibly talented cast!
Okisha Reneé Wells (Sebastian)
Okisha, also known as O’NAÍ, is a singer-songwriter, musician, and actress. She has over 25 years of experience in musical theatre with local and national players. She is a 2002 Goldsboro High graduate and 2009 AMDA, NYC graduate. She has been featured in productions such as A Christmas Carol-A New Musical, Show Boat, The Wiz, Joseph and the Amazing…Coat, Cinderella, and NC Theatre's "The Color Purple musical" as JARENE, to name a few. Okisha not only has graced theatre stages but has performed as lead vocalist for jazz, funk, and pop bands. Okisha still dreams of performing on a Broadway stage and releasing an album composed of her own material. Her biggest aspiration is to leave a platform for her daughter to stand on.
Will Duvall (Prince Eric)
Will is honored to be working with Elysian Players again after taking part in the ensemble in Little Shop of Horrors. He has previously performed roles such as Chadwick in Elf (RTP), Pinocchio in Shrek (RTP), and most recently, Bobby Strong in Urinetown (RTP). He hopes to bring out a side of Prince Eric that audiences have never seen before. He wants to thank everyone for all of the love and support he's received over the years.
River Durham (Scuttle)
River has had a wonderful time flapping about in this show with his cast members and can’t wait for you to see what they’ve created together! You might recognize River from his previous roles: Wilbur Wright in Flight (NCHT), Hot Blades Harry in Urinetown (RTP), Willy Wonka in Willy Wonka Jr. (NBCT), and Albert J. Peterson in Bye Bye Birdie Youth (NBHS). River would like to thank Jordan Amburn for giving him the wonderful opportunity to work with him once again.
Catherine Edwards (Ursula)
Catherine relishes the opportunity to restore the joyful charm of causing harm to everyone! Some of her previous stage roles include Cinderella in Disenchanted, Shelby in Steel Magnolias, and Laurey Williams in Oklahoma. Her most rewarding role is as Mother, to son Peyton and daughter Eleanor, who make every day worthy of standing ovation. THANK YOU, to every poor unfortunate soul who dares come under the sea with us for The Little Mermaid!
Marcus Jones (Jetsam)
Marcus has participated in several musical productions at LCC. He is currently a student in the LCC Music Program and works full time at US Cellular. He has performed in many places like Smiles and Frowns Theatre in Ayden, NC and the Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney World in Florida.
Emily Hopkins (Flotsam)
Emily is excited to be performing in Elysian’s production of The Little Mermaid. You may have seen her in previous roles as Zellery, in Love Bites and and Biondello, in Taming of the Shrew. Emily would like to thank her friends and family for their love and support.
Nathan Coles (King Triton)
Nathan is thrilled to join another Elysian Players’ production. Most recently he portrayed Bill Sikes in Oliver and Pharaoh/Simeon in Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat. Nathan has also portrayed Frank Abagnale Sr. in Catch Me If You Can, Juan Peron in Evita, and Capt. Jack Ross in a Few Good Men. So much love and thanks to his fiancé Lauren, his parents, Nancy, Gabe, Claire, and the cast/crew.
Anthony Furr (Chef Louis)
Anthony is once again delighted to take the stage with old friends and new faces! Anthony is an Elysian veteran, and he is also involved with Carteret Community Theatre. You may have seen him previously as Judas in Godspell (Elysian), Father Tom in Making God Laugh (CCT), or Tranio in The Taming of the Shrew (Elysian).
