About Almost, Maine

Welcome to Almost, Maine, a town that’s so far north, it’s almost not in the United States—it’s almost in Canada. And it almost doesn’t exist. Because its residents never got around to getting organized. So it’s just…Almost.

One cold, clear Friday night in the middle of winter, while the northern lights hover in the sky above, Almost’s residents find themselves falling in and out of love in the strangest ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. Love is lost, found, and confounded. And life for the people of Almost, Maine will never be the same.

ALMOST, MAINE: It’s love. But not quite.

Our Production

This production of Almost, Maine is a collaboration between the Theatre, Technical Theatre & Film Departments at Lake Travis High School.  Each of these programs consist of highly-motivated and trained students who are committed to exploring and honing their craft through the creation of high production value productions.  Their teachers are professionals with significant experience in their respective industries.

With current COVID-19 precautions keeping audiences out of our theaters, we are excited to bring our passion for live entertainment into your homes with our first streamed production.  We truly miss seeing each of you filling our seats and connecting with our audiences in person.  While nothing can replace being in the Concert Hall, experiencing the magic of live theatre in front of you, we hope that our audiences will enjoy this virtual experience for now.  And return, in person, to the Lake Travis Performing Arts Center as soon as it's safe!
