Mrs. Laws
Years Teaching: Mrs. Laws has been at LFHS for 9 years. She teaches chorus, theatre & Special Education. She has directed over 12 shows at Lake Forest HS. This will be her 13th show! College: Mrs. Laws attended Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA for her undergrad where she earned high honors in her degree for Music Performance. She also has k-12 music certification & special education. Hobbies: Mrs. Laws enjoys watching her husband umpire over the summer throughout the East Coast. She also enjoys time with her dog, Bella. Mrs. Laws also performs with the Kent Chamber Choir in Dover throughout the year. Why I Teach: Seeing students discover their talents, abilities and leadership is something that gives me joy. I love what I do and I feel I was given the gift of encouraging others to find their passion and strengths through the arts. The arts is so important to our community and well-being.

Jeff Thompson
Jeff Thompson has 15 years of experience in music education, having taught students from grades 5 through 12 across several districts, including Capital, Milford, Caesar Rodney, and Lake Forest School Districts. He holds a B.S. in Music Education, a B.A. in Jazz Performance, and an M.M.E. in Music Education, all from Lebanon Valley College in Annville, Pennsylvania. Currently, Mr. Thompson is pursuing a D.M.A. in Music Education at Boston University. He enjoys outdoor activities, cycling, and spending quality time with his wife and three children. His passion for teaching stems from his commitment to helping students realize and achieve their full potential.

Years teaching: Aimee is the director of the Tatiana Akinfieva Dance Academy where she has been teaching ballet, tap, jazz, and contemporary dance for the past 11 years. College: Graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor’s in Communication. Then received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law. Hobbies: I love cheering on my 3 children in their various hobbies and sports. I’m a huge Lake field hockey and soccer fan! My why: I love being able to give back to the school district. I love sharing my love of dance! The actors and crew are so amazing to work with and make the experience so much fun. It’s also a fun change from my day job as Chief of Legislative Relations for the Department of Transportation.

Years Teaching: Public Education-22;Dance ~ 25+ College/Degrees: Wilmington University with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. Master of Education in Reading and Literacy. Master of Education in School Leadership. Occupation: High School K-12 Teacher Academy, Artistic Director -TADA Performance Company, Dance Instructor-TADA Dance StudioHobbies: Spending time with my family and friends, directing and teaching dance, reading, camping, working out My Why: Dancing has always been a part of my life as my grandmother was a professional dancer, as well as a dance instructor, choreographer, and director. Growing up I was fortunate enough to experience the arts and reap the benefits. I feel honored that I can provide so many children and teens with a similar opportunity.

Miss. G is a Lake Forest Alum and Chipman Band teacher for the past three years. She has been our stage manager at Lake Forest for Legally Blonde, Clue & Guys & Dolls, but was a part of past production as a student.

Deacon Primosch
Deacon is a Lake Forest Alumni. During his time at Lake he was a student stage manager for many shows and a part of the costume and makeup department.
