Lewis Morrow (Willy Loman)Lewis Morrow is an actor/playwright from Kansas City, KS who also serves as the Director of New Play Development at KC Melting Pot. He has been on stage here at KCMPT in shows such as 2121, SUNSET BABY, RADIO GOLF, KING HEDLEY II, BAYBRA’S TULIPS, BEGETTERS, MOTHER/son, THE PIANO LESSON, IS GOD IS, WHO’S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF?, SEVEN GUITARS, JAWBONE CRACK QUICK, and most recently FENCES. Additionally, KC Melting Pot gave Lewis his directorial debut with THE SESSION by Harvey Williams. Morrow’s plays have been produced or developed in North Carolina, Michigan, Las Vegas, Texas, and shows in 2022 in Indiana and Kentucky. He has published a book titled “Black Matters: Lewis Morrow Plays” which features his trilogy of plays centered around family.
Melonnie Walker (Linda Loman)Melonnie Walker is a theatre historian, educator, and alum of UMKC’s Master of Arts program in Theatre History. She is the Artistic Director - Operations for KC Melting Pot Theatre and has served as the resident research and production dramaturg for six seasons so far. She is an advisory board member of the August Wilson Society and Regional VP for the Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas. Melonnie is grateful for her theatre family here at KCMPT and she is inspired to do the work that preserves and uplifts black theatre history for future generations.
Mark Collins, Jr (Biff Loman)Mark Collins Jr. is a Kansas City native. He has trained at the Actor Training Studio since 2023 after having a 4 year college football career. He has appeared is several TV & Film productions over the course of the last three years including, Caleb Hearon and Holmes’ Same Day Appointment, 9:16 Productions’ Swipe Wright and Wide Awake Films’ PBS documentary Secrets of the Dead: Lost Civil War Massacre. His love for entertainment and theater began at an early age, but KCMPT gave him his overall theater debut in Family Sideshow by Brysen Boyd.
E. Larry Guidry (Happy Loman)E. Larry Guidry's origin of acting started at the 6 when his mom introduced him to sci-fi. With no formal training, E Larry began his journey through Louis Morrow’s BEGGETTERS at KC Melting Pot and currently running on Fawesome network Greenwood the story of Black Wallstreet. Since 2022 E larry has been in theatre, commercial and cinema work. On the side E Larry credits his love for the arts and his children as his muse for inspiration. "To act is to live freely with no free of death".
David Sadzin (Uncle Ben)David is delighted to be appearing in his first KC Melting Pot production. Born and raised in Kansas City, he started acting in elementary school and has been collaborating on stages ever since. After a few years in New York he recently returned to his hometown. David's recent Kansas City credits include Young Frankenstein (ensemble) and 1776 (Thomson). He is also an award-winning audiobook actor, who has recorded titles for major publishers across a range of genres.
Denniel Correa (Bernard)Denniel is an actor born and raised in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, who moved to Kansas ten years ago. His recent credits include El Árbol de Aguacate, The Disappointments, Cocaine à la Carte, Tamale Season, and several local commercial and film projects. He holds a degree in Theatre Performance from the University of Kansas. Denniel relishes every opportunity to perform and entertain. His passion and dedication to the theater know no bounds, and he dedicates each performance and role to his beloved family, friends, and the people of his homeland. This is Denniel’s first production with KCMPT.
Greg Butell (Charley)After finishing a successful run of CLUE (New Theatre & Restaurant), Greg is excited to make his debut at KC Melting Pot Theatre working on this Pulitzer Prize winning play with this terrific cast, director and crew. Greg's KC theatre credits include Mornings at Seven, And Then There Were None, Streetcar Named Desire (Kansas City Actors Theatre), Sweat (Unicorn Theatre), Gypsy (Music Theatre Heritage), Catch Me If You Can, Funny Money, Don't Dress For Dinner, South Pacific (New Theatre & Restaurant), Harvey (Barn Players), Ma Rainey's Black Bottom (Black Repertory Theatre Co), Room Service (KC Rep). Alli Irvin (The Woman)Alli Irvin is honored to make her debut with The Melting Pot Theatre in Death of a Salesman. Her recent credits include Clairee in TIP's Steel Magnolias, Brooke in CTI's Noises Off, and Hermia in Dead Man's Cell Phone with the Bell Road Barn. Alli extends her deepest gratitude to her husband, Jason, for his unwavering support, and to her four wonderful children for their love and encouragement. Hi Kids!
Doug Dresslaer (Howard Wagner)Doug has been doing theater since his Kindergarten production of Turkey Lurkey. For the last 25+ years, Doug has been performing in shows around the Kansas City area. Productions include Angels in America Parts 1&2, Frost/Nixon, Spring Awakening, Laughter on the 23rd Floor, Boys Next Door, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and others. Doug first performed for KCMPT in their production of Fairview. Doug sends a special thanks to his wife Sarah for her support.
Noa Adams (Jenny/Letta)Noa Adams ([email protected]) is an actress based in KCMO. She recently finished her studies at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in NYC. She is thrilled to perform with KC Melting Pot Theatre for the first time. Recent credits include Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors (Cyclopedic), Legally Blonde: The Musical (LSC), Alabama Story (MET) and many more. Death of a Salesman has such a special place in her heart and she is so glad to be part of this production. Thank you to all family and friends for their undying support.
Nick Hazel (Stanley)Nick Hazel is an actor from Overland Park, KS. His theatre introduction started in 2014 at the GEM Theatre in KCMO. He is proud to be back on the Melting Pot stage, having previously held roles in 2121 and A Raisin in the Sun. Nick has also performed in the KC Fringe Festival and as part of the cast in The Shawshank Redemption (Metropolitan Ensemble Theatre). He would like to thank his wife Claire for her inspiration and support, and Lewis Morrow for his opportunity to create and collaborate through the years.
Briana Van Deusen (Miss Forsythe)Briana Van Deusen is a Kansas City native. After taking a theatre hiatus upon receiving her degree, she returned to the stage in 2018 and has since appeared in several works across the city including Taming of the Shrew (Rising Tide Productions), Products of Conception (KC Fringe Festival), Angry, Raucous, and Shamelessly Gorgeous (Black Rep KC), as well as Barbecue, Fairview, and The Session (KC Melting Pot Theatre). Her screen credits include the 2021 short film Faring Through the Ages (Rising Tide Productions). She is happy to be back on KCMPT’s stage.
