Casey Jane (Ms. Hunter)
Casey Jane is originally from California, but has called KC her home most of her life. She received her Bachelors in Theatre & Communication from Truman State University, and has been working in local theatre & film for the past decade. Recent credits include Amuck, Amuck, Amuck! (Rising Tide Productions), Justice At War (Coterie Theatre), On the Veranda (Warehouse Ensemble), and The Holy Trinity (KC Public Theatre). Casey loves working in theatre for the raw electric emotional transference that is rare to this artform. This is Casey’s second time working with KCMPT, having appeared in 2022’s Barbecue. 
Amber Redmond (Davis)
Amber Redmond originates from St. Joseph MO, but has called KC home for the past decade. She is a graduate of Missouri Western State University with a B.A.A. in Performance & Cinematic Arts. Amber has been drawn to the arts since a very young age. Her first performances involved forcing her Grandparents to watch her act out the entirety of Walt Disney’s The Little Mermaid (as every character- of course). She has appeared in shows such as Doubt (RRT), Begetters, Secrets & Lies, The Piano Lesson, Fairview, Is God Is, and The Amen Corner (KCMPT). Amber is extremely proud to be working with KC Melting Pot Theatre and would like to thank her family and partner for their constant support and encouragement.
Tailor Jewell Smith (Reatha)
Tailor Jewell Smith is native to Kansas City, Missouri. She started her performance journey at a young age, acting and modeling for her church, local theaters and talent agencies. Tailor graduated in 2015 from UMKC with her BA in Mass Communications and Journalism. Although she went on to tackle a four year journey as a radio personality at Carter Broadcast Group KPRS HOT 103 JAMZ, she is very excited to place her focus back into acting at Just Off Broadway Theatre. This is Tailor’s KCMPT debut.
Briana Van Deusen (Beth)
Briana Van Deusen is a Kansas City native. After taking a theatre hiatus upon receiving her degree, she returned to the stage in 2018 and has since appeared in several works across the city including Taming of the Shrew (Rising Tide Productions), Products of Conception (KC Fringe Festival), Angry, Raucous, and Shamelessly Gorgeous (Black Rep KC), as well as Barbecue and Fairview (KC Melting Pot Theatre). Her screen credits include the 2021 short film Faring Through the Ages (Rising Tide Productions). She is happy to be back on KCMPT’s stage.
Areli Gil (Cynthia)
Areli Gil was born Guadalajara and grew up in Kansas City. She studied theatre at Stephens college and has appeared in several regional theatre productions including; Native Gardens (Unicorn Theatre), Refuge (Unicorn Theater), UBUGME (Coterie Theatre), Bare The Pop Opera (Unicorn Theatre), Once on this Island (Coterie Theatre). Her love for theatre started at the age of 3 when she began performing traditional Mexican Ballet Folklorico. This is Areli’s KCMPT debut. 
Ash Bowen (Understudy)
Ash Bowen is from Dallas, Texas. She received a BA in Theatre & Dance from the University of Texas at Austin, as well as a BA in Government in 2021. She is currently getting her MFA in Acting at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (class of 2024). Ash has appeared in Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol (Kansas City Repertory Theatre), Melissa Maxwell’s world premiere of Imbroglio and Carlyle Brown’s The African Company Presents Richard III (Great River Shakespeare Festival). She has also appeared in many William Shakespeare plays such as Twelfth Night, As You Like It, and Romeo & Juliet (Great River Shakespeare Festival). Her love for theatre began in middle school when she performed in Seussical and Honk Jr. This is Ash’s KCMPT debut.
