Scenic design - Technical Director
Gary MosbyGary Mosby (Scenic Designer and Technical Director) –is Coordinator of Theatre here at Kansas City Kansas Community College, as well as, heading the Theatre Technology area of the department. Gary teaches theatre technology classes, including 2 levels of stagecraft and 2 levels of lighting and stage management and designs the scenery and lighting for the department productions. In addition to his work here with the students, Gary enjoys working as a scenic designer with several local professional companies, such as Unicorn Theatre, KC Rep, and Kansas City Actors Theatre. Some recent college designs would be Lobby Hero and the very popular production of Heathers the Musical and professionally, Sea Marks and Death and the Maiden “My favorite part of theatre and teaching is collaboration, sharing ideas and experiences”. Sound Designer
Felecia ChaneFelicia Chance (Sound Designer) - Felecia Chance is a Kansas City based sound designer/engineer/producer. Currently in her last semester at KCKCC, Felecia is excited to be involved in another production at KCKCC Theater after her latest design credit for Proof. She has spent the past year at MTH Theater as the sound operator for The Glass Menagerie, It’s a Wonderful Life, Chorus Line, Gypsy and many more! When she is not behind the board she is behind the mic as the lead singer of Dungeon Lounge and songwriting for other KC artists!
Lighting Designer
Henry MorganHenry Morgan (Lighting Designer – Henry is incredibly excited to be a part of his 8th show here at KCKCC. This will be his first time on the technical side of things at KCKCC. Henry was recently featured in The Barn Players production of Little Women (Laurie), Summit Theatre Group’s production of Rabbit Hole (Jason), as well as Ride the Cyclone (Mischa), and The Mousetrap (Detective Sergeant Trotter) - both performed here at the college. Henry also made his directorial debut last fall with his production of Proof produced here at KCKCC. He also recently participated in the Irene Ryan acting scholarship competition and made the finals this year, as well as having placed third overall in his region last year! He would like to thank Cinnamon, and Gary for their wonderful mentorship, Zac for his lovely direction, Alex for being an awesome Stage Manager, as well as his friends and family for their constant support. Zachary StoddardZachary Stoddard (Director) - Zac has been an avid member of the theater department for the past several years, In the past, he has played Shroeder in “You’re a good man, Charlie Brown!” as well as Loyal in “Tartuffe”. He has mainly stayed backstage however, performing as Stage Manager in Ride the Cyclone, acting as Assistant Stage manager in “The Great American Trailer Park Musical” “Mauritius” and “The Mousetrap” as well as costume designing for “Sight Unseen” and “Waiting for Godot.” He hopes you enjoy the show, and “Have a wonderful evening.”
Stage Manager
Alex AguireAlex Aguire (Stage Manager) - Alex has been acting here at KCKCC for a while, and that time is almost to an end. This is their first time being a full stage manager for a production, and they could not be more excited! You might recognize them as Major Metcalf from The Mousetrap or as Sterling from Mauritius. They would like to thank all their friends and family for supporting them in all their endeavors, with a special thanks to Toni Hudalla for an extra bit of Stage Manager Sagedom.
