Co-Director
Aliyah Velazquez PullinAliyah Velazquez Pullin is beyond elated to have had the chance to co-direct this absurd tragi-comedy alongside the marvelous Kyn Johnson. Waiting For Godot was the first play she read on her own and the first script she fell in love with. Breaking the traditional age and gender casting, she one day hopes to live in a world where gender blind casting is to be expected and she can easily direct shows with non-binary actors and characters and nobody bats an eye. On the KCKCC stage, Aliyah has previously been seen as Mary in Mauritius, Grete in Sight Unseen, and as an assistant stage manager for the fall musical, Great American Trailer Park Musical. Aliyah has worked all around Kansas City, most notably directing KC Fringe Festival shows and acting with the Heart of America Shakespeare Festival. Outside of the theatre she loves to play cello and spend time with her family and friends, all of whom she is eternally grateful for. Aliyah wants to thank the entire cast and crew for their patience and enthusiasm with this project. She also would like to especially thank her momma for teaching her to know the rules inside and out and giving her the courage to eventually break them. Aliyah hopes you enjoy the show!
