Cappies Gala is a celebration of high school theatre. Expect to see a year in review, performances by various award nominees, and numerous awards presented for technical, performance, and critic achievements.

KC is the home of a great program called Cappies. Each school has a team of students who are trained in critiquing & writing reviews for member schools in the KC area. The best reviews are chosen by editor mentors & appear in the KC Star & other area newspapers. In June, a formal gala is held and the best performances are awarded. This is the 20th anniversary of KC Cappies.
