About Hadestown: Teen Edition

Welcome to HADESTOWN, where a song can change your fate. This acclaimed musical by singer-songwriter Anaïs Mitchell and director Rachel Chavkin is winner of 8 Tony Awards including Best Musical and the Grammy Award® for Best Musical Theater Album.

It intertwines two mythic tales — that of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and that of King Hades and Queen Persephone — as it invites you on an unforgettable journey to the underworld and back. Performed by a vibrant ensemble of actors, singers, and dancers, HADESTOWN asks audiences to imagine how the world could be.

This production is directed by Sasha Maya Ada, and features Music Direction by Bryce Biffle.

Thursday and Saturday will feature Kathleen Jones as Eurydice and Maxton Sims as Orpheus. Friday and Sunday Matinee will feature Itzel Ramirez as Eurydice and Maxwell Berner as Orpheus.

Hadestown: Teen Edition is designed for a family audience and open to all ages. Please note that the source material, while not containing any profanity, does contain serious themes like the consequences of doubt, fear, industry versus nature, and the permanence of tragedy as well as a literal journey to the underworld. Patrons are recommended to review the show description and decide their own personal comfort level before purchasing tickets for those under 10.

Exchange Policy: All ticket sales are final. There are no ticket refunds once a transaction has been completed for all productions and events with Junior Players. However, we understand that emergencies arise, including injury, illness, or family emergencies. In these instances, we have the below Ticket Exchange policy to assist you.

To Request a Ticket Exchange:

  • Requests must be made 24 hours prior to the requested date change and are only eligible for tickets at the same pricing level.
  • Email [email protected] with the name of your reservation and the new date you would like your tickets moved to.
  • Tickets may be exchanged for another performance of the same production only.
  • Exchanged tickets are subject to new ticket availability. Junior Players cannot guarantee that there will be seats available for the desired performance but will make every effort to accommodate your request.

Late Seating Policy: We strive to provide an uninterrupted and enjoyable experience for all guests. As such, our late seating policy is as follows. Patrons arriving at the venue after the inner theater doors have been closed will not be seated immediately. Latecomers will be seated at a designated pause in the performance, such as in between musical numbers. Late seating may be quite limited dependent on the production and performance. Any patron arrival past 30-minutes after the show has begun will be denied entry. Ushers may direct latecomers to enter through specific doors or seating areas to minimize disturbance. It may not be possible for latecomers to be seated in the row and seat they prefer. We understand patrons may need to step out of the theater during a performance. Patrons are welcome to leave at any time, but will be permitted re-entry only during designated pauses in the performance. Please note that refunds or exchanges will not be provided for latecomers or re-entrants who miss part of the performance.

Additional Info: Please note that due to demand and availability, Junior Players will be enacting dynamic pricing for this production.
