Frozen JR. is based on the 2018 Broadway musical, and brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life, onstage. The show features all of the memorable songs from the animated film, with music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, plus five new songs written for the Broadway production.

A story of true love and acceptance between sisters, Frozen JR. expands upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa. When faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood. With a cast of beloved characters and loaded with magic, adventure, and plenty of humor, Frozen JR. is sure to thaw even the coldest heart!

This club was started in 2011 by Mrs. Kathy Gagich, who saw a need for a fine arts program at the school.  Past performances on the JFK stage include Cinderella, Annie, Beauty and the Beast, and Fiddle on the Roof.  In 2016 Miss Emily Janocha joined Kathy in directing the musicals and they co-produced The Wizard of Oz, The Little Mermaid, Seussical, and On Broadway together.  Due to the pandemic, the stage lights had to be dimmed for a few short years and in 2021, Miss Janocha, with the help of Miss Hannah Brown and Mrs. Natalie Florian, directed and wrote Hooray for Hollywood to highlight students in grades 3-8 at JFK.  This year, the cast and crew are proud to finally perform Frozen JR after a two year hiatus.
