About The Fantasticks

The Fantasticks is Broadway's longest-running musical, starting from 1960-present. It's an allegorical play about young lovers Luisa and Matt, their feuding fathers Bellomy and Hucklebee, and the ringmaster El Gallo. With the help of an old Shakespearian actor, Henry, his assistant Mortimer, and the prop master Mute, El Gallo teaches the family about the highs and lows of life, and what it means to grow up.

Iowa River Players

The Iowa River Players theater is located in a spunky little town called Rowan. The theater is in the vintage gymnasium and has been running for 22 years. It has hosted tens of plays and brought joy to hundreds. To keep the theater running, the Rowan Improvement Foundation has devised a plan to maintain the integrity of the structure and expand its value to all citizens of Wright County.
