Director/Set Designer/Sound Designer
Nicholas J ClareyNicholas is Artistic Director of interACT Theatre Productions. He worked with and founded several theatre companies across the Northeast and served as Theatre Education Program Director at Dryden Schools near Ithaca, New York, before landing in NJ where he assumed the helm of interACT in 2012. Nicholas's and interACT's work have been repeatedly recognized by Broadway World, the NJ Perry Awards, and the Essex County Local Arts Program. interACT proudly represents Essex County through deliberately diverse casting, original works, and high-quality productions in the Maplewood-South Orange communities and beyond.

Production Stage Manager
Charles PenszynskiCharles is a recent Flagler College grad with a B.A. in Theatre Arts, focused in direction, management, and education. Credits include Rocky Horror (Director/Producer), Cry It Out (Asst. Director), Every Brilliant Thing (Stage Manager), Almost, Maine (Director), If/Then (Stage Manager), Streetlight Woodpecker (Asst. Asst. Stage Manager
Katie Claire HarriganKatie is a New Jersey based stage manager and performer and is beyond grateful to be a part of this production. She has a BA in Musical Theatre from New Jersey City University. She is also currently the Stage Manager for Villagers Theatre Miniature Musical Makers' production of The Wizard of Oz. Recent SM credits include C.U.L.T (The Tank), Blinded by Faith (Hudson Guild Theater), Some Body Will Pay (New Perspectives Theatre Company), Apron Strings: The Ties that Bind (AMT Theater). Katie has also been the Theatre Director for Kent Place Summer Camp in Summit New Jersey for the past two years.

Producer
Serena Marie SmithSerena is back for another fantastic interACT production, this time serving in the role of producer. She is also a theatre, film, commercial, and voiceover actress. A few of Serena's most recent theatre credits include Jaja’s African Hair Braiding (Bea), Footloose (Lulu), and Gloria: A Life (Patrena), which earned her a BroadwayWorld nomination for Best Supporting Performer in a Play. Serena is also a proud ACE (Artists Creating Excellence) member of the NJ Creative Arts Collaborative (NJCAC) and an aerialist. THANK YOU for everyone's continued support! Instagram: @iamserenamarie

Fight Director
Craig HillCraig is no stranger to the life of entertainment. He has been a part of Saber Guild, which is a nonprofit organization stage combat costume group affiliated with Lucas films & Disney for over six years. He has also been in a few projects as a stunt performer. Craig is always a person willing to test limitations and go beyond that. This is his first time as a part of the interACT crew in this capacity.

Executive Producer
Erica VieiraErica is thrilled to return to interACT for her 7th production with this incredible company! When she’s not on stage, Dr. Vieira works in the mental health field and enjoys spending time pursuing her passions for theatre and equestrianism. Special thanks to Nick Clarey, Serena Smith, and this AMAZING cast and crew for their hard work and dedication. #LoveOneAnother

Program Designer
Mark AquilinoMark has spent the last decade working behind the scenes on numerous productions such as interACT’s "The House on Haunted Hill", "Amityville ’74", "Eternal Flamer! The Ballad of Jessie Blade" (all written by his husband Tommy Jamerson), "The Wedding Singer", "And Then There Were None", "Footloose", "i-Sings: Totally Awesome 80s", "Fright Night", "Seasonal Allergies" (Producer), and "Guys and Dolls". Other credits include Bonita Rokiki’s one-woman show "The Kik" directed by Bubba Higgins.

Props Director
Lisa TaschLisa is so happy to help the interACT family once again. She loves the scavenger hunt they always send her on. Break legs!!!

Social Media Director
Sabrina SantoroSabrina can usually be found either on the stage or behind the camera. She has been a part of the interACT family since the fall of 2012 performing as Ann Putnam in The Crucible. Some of her favorite roles include Ruth Bridges from The House on Haunted Hill, The Detective from CLUE: The Musical, and Barbra from Night of the Living Dead Live! Sabrina studied at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC, The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, New School University, and NYU: Continuing Education

Intimacy Coordinator
Amanda Castro-ConroyAmanda Castro-Conroy Studied Acting, Directing, & Stage management at Ramapo College. Most recent Intimacy Coordination credits are: Secret Notebooks productions of "Hamlet and Monsters", TNT's Production of "Romeo and Juliet", and Apricots Sky One Act Festival. Her acting credits include: Prioress Lawrence in "Romeo & Juliet" (Teaneck New Theatre), Ronda in "Almost Maine" (WHATCo), Robin Starveling in "A Midsummer Night’s Dream" (WHATCo), Helena in "Always Well That Ends Well" (Rockland Shakespeare Company) Kimberly in "A Killer Reunion" (WHATCo), Katherine in "The Taming of the Shrew" (Ramapo College), which she received an Irene Ryan's nomination for. Her Production credits include : "You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown" (WHATCo) where the production won Broadway world awards for Best Musical, Best Ensemble, and Best Direction of musical. She was one of the Producers for WHATCo's "Deadly Desserts", which received NJACT Parry Award for best original production. Special thanks to her husband Matt for his love & support.

Costumer
Leila Tai BrownLEILA TAI BROWN is elated to be back with interACT! She previously acted in interACT's productions of "Footloose" (Wendy Jo), "Sister Act" (Nunsemble), "Legally Blonde" (Chutney), "Black Nativity" (Featured Ensemble), "Guys and Dolls" (Doris Claire), and five previous i-Sings productions. Outside of theater, she works in fashion and beauty, as an independent beauty consultant, and is active in her church choir. Leila is thankful

Lighting Designer
Anja Patience ThomasAnja Patience Thomas (she/her) is a DeSales University graduate with a concentration in Lighting and Stage Management. Anja has worked at the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival as Carpentry Intern in 2022, Young Company Stage Manager 2023, as well as Run Crew for The Tempest. She has also worked at the Dorset Theatre Festival as an Assistant Stage Manager in 2024 and as a Carpenter in 2025. She is grateful for this opportunity and hopes everyone enjoys the show.
