Alicia Whavers (Julia Shelby)Alicia (EMC) is an actress, singer and playwright, who was born and raised in Newark, NJ. She received a B.A. in Theatre Arts and Honors English from Drew University. Alicia has performed along the East Coast from New Jersey to Massachusetts. Some of her favorite past credits include "Julius Caesar", "Canarsie", "Murphy’s Law", "Macbeth", "Paterson Falls", "Measure for Measure", and "You Can’t Take It With You".
Jim Coe (Thomas Shelby)Jim wants to thank Nick Clarey for encouraging him to audition after 5 years away from theatre, as well as the cast, crew, and production staff for helping him feel comfortable stepping back on stage. Most importantly, Jim wants to thank his loving and ever-supportive wife, Kristina, and dog, Duke, as well as the extended Coe, Handal, and Bellero families. Previous roles with interACT include Dave (The Full Monty) and Curtis (Sister Act: The Musical). Elsewhere, Jim has performed as Pseudolus (A Funny Thing… Forum), Freddy (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), Karl/Steve (Clybourne Park), Michael (God of Carnage), Stevie (Good People), and Juror #3 (12 Angry Jurors) with The Strollers, as Barfee (25th… Spelling Bee), Peter (Prelude to a Kiss), and Chicago (Is He Dead?) with Studio Players, and in several original productions with Ground Level Theatre written and directed by Michael Magenta. Jim would like to dedicate his performance to his dear friend and theatrical fairy godmother Cynthia Ross.
Jennifer Ostrega (Alison Cusimano)This is Jennifer’s first production with interACT, and she is excited to work with such a multi-talented cast and crew. A writer and performer known for her NY Fringe corporate comedy, "Tower of Babble", Jennifer trained in the Chicago improv comedy world, and has brought her original work to theater and storytelling venues around the country. When she is not writing and performing, she helps multilingual English language learners access their creativity by designing curriculum through connection from grades kindergarten through college. Jennifer would like to thank her husband Dan, and son, Oliver, for their love and support, as well as her mentor, Rob McCaskill, and extended family and friends.
Rosie Allenson (J.D Cusimano)Rosie Allenson (she/they) is delighted to be returning to interACT after her recent performance as Judy in "Fright Night". Rosie is a graduate of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and The Academy Company. Notable credits include "Romeo and Juliet" (Juliet), "Dancing At Lughnasa" (Maggie), "Twelfth Night" (Feste), "An Enemy of the People" (Mrs. Stockmann u/s), and "Mad Mad Mad!" (Meryl), among others. Rosie is an avid lover of dance, clown, musical theatre, and The Bard. They are honored to be sharing the stage with such a talented group of artists! Love to Mom and Dad. Luke Basile (Pete Dumbowski)Luke Basile is a professional singer from Morristown, NJ, and this is his third production with interACT. Having recently performed in "Footloose" and "i-Sings: Totally 80s to the Max", Luke is going for the hat trick, and is delighted to be doing a straight play. He personally thinks of "Seasonal Allergies" as an “extra long episode of Friends.” Outside of interACT, he’s done shows for the Maplewood Strollers, such as "Children of Eden" and the Perry award-winning "Beethoven’s Wrong Note", along with "The Crusade of Connor Stephens for the Rayburn Players". Sarah Stirling (Emily Cantwell)Sarah Stirling is a New Jersey based stage and film actor. Previous stage credits include "Don’t Drink the Water" (Susan Hollander), "Moon Over Buffalo" (Eileen), "Amityville ‘74" (Peg), "The Wisdom of Eve" (Eve Harrington), as well as a voiceover role in "Marisol" (Voice #2/Angry Girlfriend). Previous film credits include "RelationShirt" (Tanya) and "Virulent" (Jenny). She is thrilled to be working with interACT Theatre Productions again. Dominique Skye Turner (Charlie Shelby)Dominique Skye Turner, originally from New York, now calls West Orange, NJ, her home. Her acting journey kicked off in 2022 when she enrolled in the Performers Theater Workshop in Milburn, NJ. In 2023, she marked her film debut with a co-starring role in "Anything Helps," directed by Aya Bogod. That same year, Dominique showcased her talent on stage as Molly in the theater production of "Annie Jr." Since then, the remarkable young talent has graced screens and stages in the Hulu film, "Patrice,” the digital series "The Pigeon Explains,” and in August Wilson’s “Fences” as Raynell, directed by Ricardo Khan. Beyond acting, Dominique's passions include singing, dancing, swimming, tennis, and basketball.
