Foolish Fishgirls and the Pearl Cast

Everyone calls her Gena. She is 58 and has lived in DeRidder for five years on a small farm. She has three talented and beautiful daughters as well as two grandchildren. She is proud of each and every one of them. She watched several plays performed in the Wooten Theatre before she decided to give it a try herself. She has now performed in five productions with Impromptu Players. She absolutely loves acting and entertaining. Her philosophy is, "If I made you laugh, then it's a job well done."

Bianca is originally from New York State, she has proudly called Louisiana home for over 20 years. She is married to her soulmate, Joey, and together they have an amazing son, Aiden, who keeps them busy and entertained with his sporting events and activities. When she's not cheering from the sidelines, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, crafting, and getting lost in a good book. While this is her first venture into theater, she is also thrilled to step outside her comfort zone and embrace this exciting new adventure. She looks forward to learning, growing, and making wonderful memories as she begins this new chapter.

Lovely Turner is an ambitious new talent based in Leesville, Louisiana and is proud to be making her theatrical debut with Impromptu Players in this production of Foolish fish girls and the pearl. You may have previously seen her somewhere in town singing karaoke or at one of her comedy shows. She would like to thank her family, friends and the Impromptu Players team for their continued support in this exciting new adventure.

Joey is a retired US Army veteran, youth coach, and is currently serving as Vice President of the Impromptu Players. He is passionate about mentoring young athletes, supporting fellow veterans, and strengthening his community. His experiences have given him a deep appreciation for perseverance, teamwork, marriage, and living with purpose. He is married to the beautiful Bianca and together they have a son, Aiden, whom he truly adores, calling him, "the better version of me."
