Mr.Bingley/Old Mr. Laurence (Keane Anthony)

Rochester (Dillon Arens)
Dillon is a first year student, with an as-yet undeclared major. He is on the men's soccer team and this is his first play at IC.
St John Rivers/Bhaer/Edgar Linton (Ryan Barham)
Ryan is a resident of Jacksonville with a keen interest in theatre. He has previously played in productions of The Pirates of Penzance, The Fiddler on the Roof, Into the Woods, and White Christmas, among others.
Jo (Sydney Geyston)
Sydney is a junior at Illinois College, triple majoring in business administration, communications and rhetorical studies, and human resource management with a minor in theatre. Sydney has performed in numerous theatre productions including Annie in Annie, Eponine in Les Misérables, and IC’s Propagation, With Love, and The Tempest.
Nelly Dean/Beth/Jane Bennet (Rachel Ginsberg)
Rachel is a special education teacher at Four Rivers Special Education Cooperative. She is in the process of completing her master’s degree in special education. She attended Western Illinois University with a major in political science and a double minor in theatre and music business. She has a master of science in recreational therapy. Past theatre roles include Mrs. Beauregarde in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. She will next be seen in Ragtime at the Springfield Muni in June 2022. She would like to thank her parents, brother, students, friends, and colleagues who encourage her to pursue her passions!
Elizabeth (Rojhna Gordon)
Rojhna is a freshman at Illinois College where she hopes to major in theatre with a minor in Spanish. This is her first time performing in a play and she can’t wait to perform in many others. Her biggest inspiration is her mother, who has been by her side literally since day one, and she would love to thank her for her continuous support throughout the years.
Caroline/Amy (Cassidy Harvey)
Cassidy is a junior majoring in elementary education with a minor in theatre. She has participated in The Tempest, the FYS production, Surviving Yourself: Stories of Addiction, With Love, and helped stage manage for The Theory of Relativity. She is excited to be back on the stage in this amazing production!
Laurie (Matthew Hill)
Matthew is a freshman at Illinois College and is considering double majoring in education and psychology. He has participated in Winter Break, A Talk in the Park, and With Love, here at IC. He would like to thank his family for always supporting him throughout his many years in theatre and always cheering him on.
Joseph/Mrs. March (Chris Proffitt)
Chris is a veteran of the IC stage. He is an IC alum who graduated in 2002. He has been in a variety of productions in Jacksonville and Springfield. Most recently Chris played Jonathan in Arsenic and Old Lace at the Hoogland Center for the Arts in Springfield. Chris would like to thank director Aasne Daniels for her insightful suggestions throughout the rehearsal process of this show.
Heathcliff (Alex Pryor)
Alex is currently a sophomore at Illinois State University, where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Communication with a focus in musical theatre. Alex has performed in previous roles, such as John Proctor in The Crucible, Jaggers in Great Expectations, and Horton in Seussical as well as many more. He would like to thank his parents for their continued support as well as Aasne for giving him this opportunity to make a return to the stage.
Darcy (Mickey Sanders)
Mickey is a first year here at IC. He was adopted from Ethiopia at the age of 6 and now lives in Louisville, Kentucky. He is majoring in health sciences to get into an occupational therapy school for an OT degree. He is also minoring in theatre. He is on the men's soccer team and in the honors program here at IC. Mickey has been in Alice in Wonderland as the Griffin and has also appeared in Spelling Bee, the Musical as Chip Tolentino. He wants to thank everyone for supporting him and encouraging him to act.
River Sister/Meg (Mackenzie Strong)
Mackenzie is in her second year at Illinois College, majoring in secondary ed and history. She is also involved in swim, ΣΦΕ, student senate, res life, and choir. This is her second show onstage with Theatreworks, and she’s beyond excited to perform. She would like to thank her friends and family for their continuous support.
Cathy (Gina Taylor)
Gina is a senior at Illinois College double majoring in art and theatre. She has performed in a variety of roles on the IC stage and along with performing, spends much of her time backstage doing tech. Gina is also the current IC TheatreWorks Box Office Manager and president of Alpha Psi Omega, the theatre honor society. She would like to thank her mother for always telling her, “You got this!”
Jane (Elizabeth Ruvalcaba)
Elizabeth is a junior majoring in biology with an ecology concentration. This is her first play. She would like to thank her mom for popping her into the world, her “son,” Rex, for being a wonderful and kind soul, and Kyle and Vic for always believing in her.
