Imagine sitting in front of a television for a full day to watch all your favorite movies. Although you know your favorite movie is coming on, you spend time preparing to get comfortable, grab a blanket, snuggle up in your favorite chair, and you hit play. Whether your favorite show is fun, filled with action, emotion, or drama there is a sense of completion once it's over. That is the feeling that we bring in our newest show “Motion Pictures”; a collage of American movie favorites that take you back to the very first time you watched each nostalgic film!  

This is a NEVER BEFORE SEEN show with new and riveting excerpts from Color Purple, Hairspray, Beetlejuice, Till, etc… and are performed by 30 dancers in our Pre-Professional Youth Performing Company!

Founded in 1989 by Sabra Logan, iibada Dance Company (pronounced “ee-bah-dah”) has served the Indianapolis community for over 34 years. We have earned our roots as a pillar in the community and we want to take our programming to neighborhoods throughout the Indianapolis region. Our mission is to provide cultural enrichment, discipline, arts education, and opportunities to build and empower youth, young adults, and communities through the art of dance.

Our vision is to ignite the Indy performing arts industry by investing in our young performers of the future, cultivating a culture of support, and providing opportunities that foster sustainable careers in the arts within Indianapolis and beyond.
