When four seniors fail to complete their final project for their history class, chaos ensues. The stakes are high as they come to the realization that failing this project means repeating the 12th grade. Set in Hopewell High School, this entertaining narrative delves into the lives of these seniors, the dynamics of the community, and interesting historical tidbits about Hopewell itself. Through a blend of humor and excitement, the story follows the journey of these seniors who find themselves teetering on the brink of failure due to their incomplete project.

Hopewell High School's Theater Department produces two plays yearly, one musical and one straight play. In addition to our main productions Hopewell High theatre has also competed in the VHSL ( Virginia High School League) One-Act competitions. In the fall of 2023, The Hopewell Theater group competed and won second place in our regional competition.
