Bye Bye Birdie Cast

Xander Magiera (Albert Peterson)
Xander is a senior and this is his second musical with HAT. He played Mr. Salt (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) and now Xander is ecstatic to be performing as Albert Peterson. He loves hanging out with the friends he has made at HAT and is looking forward to attending their shows even after his graduation. Outside of acting and singing, Xander enjoys spending time with his family and staying active by playing soccer. After graduation, he plans to matriculate at the University of Pittsburgh for a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Lian Kenyon (Rosie Alvarez)
Lian is a senior who fell in love with the stage during her first performance at the age of 5. She is now in her 8th year of participating in HAT productions. Over those years, she has taken on a variety of roles including ensemble, lead, student director, stage crew, and sometimes a combination of these. She has loved every minute! Lian is incredibly grateful for every opportunity and hopes you enjoy this momentous occasion: the 19th performance she has been involved with during high school and her final show before graduation. !Vamos!
Marlee Olson (Kim MacAfee)
Marlee is a Sophomore in high school, and this is her 10th HAT show! She has a great love for musical theater and has been in 26 productions starting at just 5 years old. Her favorite roles include Grandma Tzeitel (Fiddler on the Roof), Evie (Descendants), and Purity (Anything Goes). When not on stage, she enjoys playing piano, guitar, and ukulele, sewing, and spending time with her friends. She is also a student at Soul Steps Dance Company. Marlee had a great passion for musical theater and cannot wait for people to see her as Kim MacAfee!
Jackson Narchus (Conrad Birdie)
Jackson is a senior and proud to be performing in his 6th and final production with HAT. His previous roles include: Mr. Beauregarde ( Charlie and the Chocolate Factory ) Race (Newsies), Mr. Banks (Mary Poppins, Jr.), Horton (Seussical, Jr.), and a bottle dancer (Fiddler on the Roof). Besides acting, Jackson spends his time playing hockey, jamming out on his guitar and writing music . He would like to thank Miss Charlotte and Miss Nicole for all of their hard work and dedication to HAT and for believing in him. He would like to thank his family and friends for supporting him in all his endeavors, especially his mom, dad and sister, Josie.
Titus Kitchen (Mr. MacAfee)
Titus is in his junior year of high school and is so excited to help bring this show to life! His previous roles with HAT include Von Hussler (Mary Poppins), Motel (Fiddler), Mush (Newsies), Grandpa Joe (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), Ali Hakim (Oklahoma!), and is currently in HAT's production of Into The Woods as Jack! Off the stage you will still hear Titus singing more than he talks, Putting his podcast together (Tuesday Talks With Titus), serving at his church, making a poster, building a website, and recording a video project. Titus wants to thank all that are involved in making this show become what it is.
Zoie Beckas (Mrs. MacAfee)
Zoie is a senior and in her last HAT production. Over the past three years Zoie has been in roles like Specs (Newsies), Tzeitel (Fiddler on the Roof) and Auntie Em (Wizard of Oz). Zoie is also a competitive synchronized figure skater, plays guitar and loves to go skiing whenever the winter weather cooperates. Zoie is sad her time here at HAT is coming to an end but looks forward to continuing in theater in the future. She would like to thank everyone at Hometown Arts Troupe for the good times and the memories over the years.
Noah Kasun (Randolph MacAfee)
Noah is thrilled to be performing in Bye Bye Birdie! This marks his third production, having previously appeared as Eugene Fodor in Crazy for You and in A Christmas Carol in the Ensemble. Though he only recently discovered his love for theater, he has quickly found a passion for performing and recently began taking both tap and ballet classes. When he’s not pursuing musical theater, you can find him working on his YouTube channel: The Optimal Gamer. Noah is excited to be a part of Hometown Arts Troupe and looks forward to many more shows to come!
Claire Sabatini (Mae Peterson)
Claire and HAT. HAT and Claire. It’s hard to imagine one without the other! She started with HAT when she was just 10 years old; now fast forward to March 10, 2025, her 19th birthday! She truly has grown up with HAT. Bye Bye Birdie will be Claire’s 13th and final HAT Homeschool Theater show. What a beautiful gift it has been! Friends, learning and growing, becoming and accomplished singer, dancer, and actress-and did I mention FRIENDS?! HAT has been such a blessing and she is very grateful. Remember how we can't imagine HAT without Claire and vice versa? Although Claire will graduate from HAT Homeschool Theater this year, she plans to continue with HAT on the Community Theater side, starting with a performance in Into the Woods this May. Beyond the footlights, Claire works as an artist and is growing her art business, Gifty ArtWorks, where she creates digital, watercolor, and mixed media art, specializing in Pet Portraits and Pet Memorial Paintings.
Xavier Wolf (Hugo Peabody)
a 17 year old music maker and dreamer of dreams. This is Xavier’s 21st musical performance. Some of his favorite roles include Tevye (Fiddler on the Roof), Willy Wonka (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), Jud Fry (Oklahoma), Crutchie (Newsies), Cowardly Lion (Wizard of Oz), Drake (Annie) and Simba (Lion King). When Xavier is not on stage, he enjoys hanging out with friends, graphic design, music, script writing and cinematography. He wishes to thank Nicole, Charlotte, Jocelyn, Becky and his parents for their direction, support and encouragement.
Josie Narchus (Ursula Merkle)
Josie is anxious to perform in her 6th HAT production! She has performed in community theater as well, but at HAT she has found her home. Her budding theater career includes Bulda (Frozen Jr), Kate (Annie Jr), Tree (Wizard of Oz), Jane (Mary Poppins), Chava (Fiddler on the Roof), Katherine (Newsies), Veruca Salt (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) and Mayzie (Seussical), the latter being her favorite role. Josie is a life-long dancer who currently dances competitively with Soul Steps Dance Company. When she isn't acting or dancing, you can find her with her nose in a book or a crochet hook in her hand. Josie would like to thank her friends and family for their continued love and support.
Julia Panichelle (Alice)
Julia is in her senior year of high school and has been in theater for 8 years, this being her 20th show! Julia is also excited to be a part of HAT’s Community Theater Show, Into the Woods, as Lucinda. Julia is the last original member of HAT which began in 2017. Julia has played roles such as Wicked Witch (Wizard of Oz), Golde (Fiddler on the Roof), Medda (Newsies), Elsa (Frozen) and JoJo (Seussical). Julia is very excited to attend Geneva college in the fall to study music.
Claire Garber (Deborah Sue)
Claire is a freshman and excited to be in another HAT show! She loves being on stage, singing, and dancing, and HAT has opened up so many opportunities for her. When she’s not performing, she can be found writing poetry, watching movies, blasting her music, or playing one of her instruments. She loves nature and art, finding beauty in every little thing. She hopes you love the show!
Blake George (Penelope)
This is Blake’s 4th show with HAT, and the thrill never gets old! Blake has a passion for acting and performing, and Bye-Bye Birdie is undoubtedly her favorite show. She hopes you enjoy the show, and go home still laughing and singing all the catchy songs that will stay in your head all day!
Hazel Thayn (Margie)
This will be Hazels 4th performance with HAT and she has loved every single one. Her previous roles include a Honey Bee (Mary Poppins), A Villager (Fiddler) and an Oompa Loompa (Charlie). Hazel was also able to participate in a production of The Sound of Music at St. Vincent College where she played Marta Von Trapp. She has loved all her experiences in theatre thus far and she hopes to continue on for a very long time. Besides theatre Hazel is involved in basketball and soccer and has recently also started ballet and tap.
Lilia Kasun (Suzie)
Lilia is a talented young performer with a passion for musical theater and dance. She has captivated audiences as Peggy Sawyer (42nd Street) and as Liesl Von Trapp (The Sound of Music). Her other notable credits include the Children’s Ensemble in Jesus Christ Superstar and an Ancestor in The Addams Family with WPA. Lilia is thrilled to be at HAT and is thankful for the opportunity to share the stage with so many talented people. She can’t wait to embrace new challenges, take on exciting new roles, and create unforgettable memories on stage!
Alivia Fox (Nancy)
Alivia loves performing, dancing and singing. Alivia lives in Greensburg with her family and is currently a homeschool student. She studies dance and piano. She enjoys spending time with her friends. Alivia has been in Mary Poppins, Fiddler on the Roof, Newsies, Oklahoma, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Alivia hopes everyone enjoys the show!
Sabrina Stein (Helen)
Sabrina is a very talented 16 year-old singer, dancer and artist! She has performed with HAT since 2019. Sabrina most recently portrayed Mrs. Teavee in HAT"s production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and can't wait to play Helen for all of you in Bye Bye Birdie! She has also consistently placed first or second the state in JOAD for Recurve bow in her age bracket for the past 3 years, including all local tournaments as well. She loves playing her electric guitar, singing, watching movies, especially musicals, HAT with her friends and her 2 Conure birds, Mango and Coco.
Gracie Wolf (Betsy)
Gracie has been a member of HAT since 2018 and loves all things music, theater, skateboarding, nature, and dance. she is learning how to play the electric guitar so that she can play for her brother’s band. Gracie’s favorite musical is Fiddler on the Roof and she has performed in it twice; last fall with HAT as Sprintze and last summer at The Geyer. Grace is excited to dance in Bye Bye Birdie and loves spending every Tuesday with her friends!
Rachel Armel (Lee/Shriner)
This is Rachel's fourth HAT production. Her favorite role was from Newsies when she was a newsie named Buttons. She has enjoyed her other dancing roles as well! She also dances, both as a sport and competitively at Soul Steps Dance Co. She loves doing art and cooking. She enjoys dancing and acting as well as being able to spend time with friends at HAT.
Madelyn Fox (Phyllis)
Maddie is a returning HAT member who recently played Charlie in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and she is so excited to be performing in Bye Bye Birdie! Her favorite hobbies are playing the piano, ukulele, and cooking. She also likes hanging out with friends and playing with her dog. She loves to perform and looks forward to participating in future HAT productions.
Shiloh Cole (Sad Girl/Shriner)
Shiloh is a sophomore in highschool and this is her 6th HAT show. She is excited to be performing in Bye Bye Birdie. Her favorite shows have been Fiddler on the Roof and Newsies. Other than theater, Shiloh spends most of her time at dance or with her little cousins. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Johnathan Garber (Freddie/Maude)
Jonathan is 15 and is excited to perform in his second ever HAT show. His previous role was Grandpa George in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Apart from theatre he enjoys listening to music, hanging out with friends, being outdoors, mountain biking, and various sports. He would like to thank his friends and family for the support and hopes you enjoy this production of Bye Bye Birdie!
Enzo Vargo (Ed Sullivan/Karl)
Enzo is a sophomore. He played Augustus Gloop in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Ike in Oklahoma, Romeo in Newsies and Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol. He sings with the Scottsdale Choral Society, plays violin, and is a member of the Southmoreland Golf Team. Enzo has been cast in local and national commercials and recently was cast in a Paramount Mini Series.
River Beckas (Harvey Johnson)
River is a sophomore and is excited to bring the role of Harvey to life. River has been at HAT since he was in 8th grade. He has tackled roles such as the Mayor (Wizard of Oz), the Innkeeper (Fiddler on the Roof), and Mike Teevee (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory). When River isn't on stage he loves to fly airplanes and is currently working on his private pilot license. He hopes to one day fly commercial airliners and maybe have a little time on the side to keep up with community theater.
Jayson Kelley (Mayor)
Jayson is 17 and has been in several HAT productions. He enjoys hunting, cooking and history. Previously, he’s been seen as The Constable (Fiddler on the Roof), Mr. Green (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), Mike (Oklahoma), and Theodore Roosevelt (Newsies). Jayson is looking forward to start training to become a surgical tech
Rebecca Nowalk (Mayor’s Wife)
Becca is so excited to perform in Bye Bye Birdie! This is her 3rd HAT production and she has previously played a Lost Boy (Peter and the Starcatchers), and Mike (Newsies). In her free time, Becca enjoys hanging out with friends and reading. She is also heavily involved in competitive Karate at her Dojo in North Huntingdon. She has had a ton of fun with friends this semester and can not wait to continue next year
Aiden Rosenbaum (Mr. Johnson)
Aiden is a 17 year old senior. He began his time with HAT as stage crew but soon moved on to being part of the cast. Aiden enjoys exercising, listening to music, reading, and spending time with friends. He will miss HAT but is looking forward to being in the summer camp production of Something Rotten Jr.
Marygrace Shearer (Mrs. Merkle)
Marygrace is excited to be performing in her 5th HAT show. Last year she played Grandma Georgina in HAT’s production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. She is 17 years old, and her favorite hobbies include studying historical fashion, sewing and playing the piano. Hope you enjoy the show!
Valentina Stein (Gloria Rasputin)
Valentina is a very talented 14.5 year-old dancer and singer who has performed with HAT since 2019. She recently portrayed 8 different characters with all the costume changes and wigs for each dance scene she had for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Valentina can't wait to show you all what she can do, portraying Gloria! She has also consistently placed first or 2nd in the state and local tournaments in JOAD for Recurve bow in her age bracket for the past 4 seasons and has won JOAD Shooter of the Year for Western PA for the past 3 years. She loves dancing, playing her electric bass, singing, being a part of HAT with all of her friends!
Riley Rosenbaum (Maude’s Customer/teen ensemble)
Riley is 15 years old and loves hanging out with friends, playing video games, and watching t.v. He has been in all of HAT's shows since the fall of 2022 including their first community theater production, Oklahoma. His favorite role was Moishe (Fiddler on the Roof) and his favorite show was Newsies.
Titus Daniels (First Reporter)
his is Titus’ second performance with HAT and he is extremely excited to be playing the First Reporter. Previously, he was Jerry Jubilee in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. He loves books, reading books, and talking about books. He is proud to be homeschooled and is finishing formal education this school year! He loves hanging out with his friends and wishes everyone, cast and audience, a wonderful show!
Megan Daniels (Second Reporter)
Megan is a born performer in her fourth production with HAT. Originally from Virginia and then Kentucky, Megan currently resides in the South Hills of Pittsburgh where she is active in her church, co op, and archery club. She loves singing and playing the violin and recently began Contemporary Dance classes at Grace Christian Dance Center. Megan would like to thank the staff of HAT for giving her the chance to be on stage.
Bethany Dreskler (Carol)
Bethany loves being a part of another H.A.T production with her wonderful friends. She is in 9th grade and is a big blessing to her family. Her first performance was in The Wizard of Oz, then Mary Poppins, Fiddler on the Roof, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and her favorite show to be in was Newsies! Bethany enjoys her ballet, tap, and jazz classes, she loves listening to music, talking with friends, and baking. Thank you to all of her friends and family for coming out to the show!
Annie Garris (Sandra/Traveler)
Annie is a 16-year old singer/songwriter, poet, and writer. She enjoys working on creative projects, volunteering, and spending time with friends. This is her 13th musical performance, and her favorite previous role is the Sour Kangaroo in Seussical. Other roles include Sven (Frozen), Miss Gulch (Wizard of Oz), Mrs. Smythe (Mary Poppins) and Nun (Newsies)
Maison Kowalski (Paul)
Maison is 13 and this is his sixth show with HAT. He’s also participated in numerous other productions. Maison’s favorite role to date was Kurt von Trapp in The Sound of Music with The Saint Vincent College Players! Other roles include Mendel (Fiddler on the Roof), Bill (Newsies), Mike the Wiz (Pirates of Oz), Bobby (The Revenge of the Kraken), Gabe (An Out of the Box Christmas), Oompa Loompa (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) and Ken (Dude You Hear What I Hear). Maison is very involved in Grace Collective’s youth ministry where he enjoys being a teacher assistant, student volunteer and puppeteer with Club56.
Joey Dreskler (Charles)
Joey is a Sophomore and is excited to be in another HAT production! He brings a lot of joy to his family and likes to make his family and friends laugh. He has great memories from being a part of The Wizard of Oz, Mary Poppins, Newsies, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and his favorite: Fiddler on the Roof! He enjoys playing basketball, practicing guitar, listening to music, going to youth group, and spending time with his friends. He is thankful for the love and support of his family and friends!
Annabelle Woods (Ethel)
Annabelle is a 10th grader performing in her 2nd HAT production. She is also very excited to be participating in the HAT summer camp this July! Annabelle is a creative soul who loves to ride horses, create beautiful art, sail at Yellow Creek State Park, read a good classic, bake yummy bread, and play the piano.
Cason Rosenbaum (Trainman)
Cason is 13 and in 8th grade. He loves reading, video games, hanging out with friends, hiking in the mountains, and he especially enjoys art. He's been a number of plays since 2022 but his favorite was playing the part of Nachum, the beggar (Fiddler on the Roof).
Isaiah Woods (Policeman)
Isaiah is happy to be playing a policeman in this 2nd HAT production. Although he loved being a part of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in the Fall, the orange, oompa-loompa face was not his favorite:) Isaiah is in 8th grade and loves singing with his youth group worship band every Sunday. He also enjoys reading, playing soccer, spending time outdoors, and hanging out with his 4 siblings!
Abilene Kelley (Barbara)
Abilene is in her 7th HAT production. Previous shows include The Wizard of Oz, Mary Poppins and Newsies. When Abilene is not doing theater, she enjoys learning how to quilt from her great Aunt Abilene, enjoys taking welding classes, singing both at church and on stage, playing video games, reading, and hanging out with friends and family!
Sia Garris (Sullivan Stage Crew)
Sia has performed in 18 musicals including Annie, Seussical, Wizard of Oz, Mary Poppins, Christmas Carol, White Christmas, Anything Goes, Lightning Thief, The World According To Snoopy, Newsies and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Sia has taken over a half a million photos at Colors Birthday Party Place and has been working there for 4 years. Sia loves writing songs, shopping and listening to Taylor Swift.
Bryce Armel (Sullivan Stage Crew)
This is Bryce’s second show with HAT. He enjoys hanging out with his friends at HAT. Some of Bryce’s other interests include basketball, biking, and playing video games. Previously, Bryce was a part of boys’ hip-hop at Soul Steps Dance Company for two years.
Brandon Kepple (Sullivan Stage Crew)
Brandon is excited to be in his second HAT production! He enjoyed his experience acting in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory which was his first show. He is in eighth grade and has been homeschooled for three years. In his free time, Brandon enjoys hunting and playing dek hockey. One of his favorite experiences of this show has been seeing how all the different parts of the show come together. He is looking forward to future HAT productions and he hopes you enjoy the show!
Selah Daniels (Sullivan Stage Crew)
Selah is a 14-year-old Christian, theater nerd, and aspiring young writer. This is her second full show with HAT, being in the Charlie ensemble, and participating in the summer production last year. Selah hopes to become a published author in the next two years! She loves her friends and being a part of Hometown Arts Troupe and can’t wait to perform for you in Bye Bye Birdie and hopefully in future shows, too!
Natalie Grudowski (Conrad fan)
Natalie is a junior in high school, this is her first HAT production. She is excited to be performing in Bye Bye Birdie. Other than theater, Natalie spends most of her time at dance, swim, and track. She hopes you enjoy our production of Bye Bye Birdie!
Katelyn Millward (Conrad fan/Shriner)
Katelyn is 16 and on her 6th semester with HAT! She's enjoyed participating in 2 of HAT's Summer camps and 6 of their shows! She loves to dance and hangout with her friends at theater, as well as helping with kids ministry and worship at her church! She hopes you enjoy the show and she'll see you on stage!
Linnea Sandstrom (Conrad fan)
Linnea is so excited to be in her 6th HAT production. She loves theater and anything that includes writing, singing or acting. When she’s not drawing, reading or listening to music she can be found playing field hockey, volleyball and flag football. She loves hanging out with her friends and enjoys seeing them at rehearsals every week.
Ella Christman (Conrad fan)
Ella is in 5th grade and this is her second performance with Hometown Arts Troupe. Ella has many hobbies, but some of her favorites include; playing the piano, dancing, singing, basketball, and hunting with her uncle. She enjoys being around people and making friends wherever she goes. Ella is looking forward to Bye Bye Birdie!
Charlotte Nowalk (Conrad fan)
Charlotte is the middle child in a family of 7. This is her 5th HAT production. No matter the role, Charlotte is joyous to be on stage. Her favorite broadway show is Wicked. She also particpates in archery and in involved with her church youth group. In her free time you will often find her reading or drawing cartoons.
Daniel Yothers (ADULT ENSEMBLE)
This is Daniels second performance with HAT! He is having a great time with his sister and his friends and he is excited for you to see the show!
Tucker Vargo (ADULT ENSEMBLE)
This is Tucker’s second HAT show. he was a crab in Southmoreland High School’s “Little Mermaid”, For Newsies, he served on the makeup crew and for Oklahoma, he ran the music cues. Tucker is in 7th grade and enjoys reading, watching football, and participates in Jr. PGA golf and Jr. Olympic Archery at Crowfoot Rod and Gun Club.
Emilia Couchenour (KID ENSEMBLE)
Emilia is in her 6th (main) HAT show. Some of her favorite shows so far include Newsies, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and the current show. Emilia grew up watching her aunts and uncles perform in musicals often. Along with going to see shows in Pittsburgh with her family, she has grown to love musical theatre too. You will often find her singing and dancing around the house. She also loves reading, video games, creating art, and taking care of her cat and three rabbits. She’s very excited to continue performing with friends.
Lauren Daniels (KID ENSEMBLE)
Lauren loves life and she loves music. Everyday would be full of music and dance and little else if it were up to her, making the Bye Bye Birdie a perfect fit. This is her fourth production with HAT. She enjoys playing the piano and ukulele, and is in her fourth year of dance and acro with Grace Christian Dance Center. Lauren is thankful for the memories and friendships that her membership in HAT has fostered.
Trinity Daniels (KID ENSEMBLE)
Trinity is 10 years old, almost 11. She loves this show and can’t wait to perform in int! She was in the ensemble of Charlie and took part in the summer show last year. She likes turtles, guinea pigs, and horses. She thinks you’ll like this play as much as she has.
Josh Dreskler (KID ENSEMBLE)
Joshua is in 6th grade and loves ballet and tap dance, playing basketball, doing card tricks, and having fun with his friends at H.A.T. He loved playing Les in Newsies, Michael Banks in Mary Poppins, and being an Oompa Loompa in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! Josh enjoys practicing guitar, backyard football games, playing Monopoly, and hanging out with friends! He hopes you enjoy the show!
Amelia G (KID ENSEMBLE)
Amelia has been in the audience for almost every HAT show since their Alice in Wonderland show several years ago. She is thrilled to be IN her second HAT show now. She is a very animated and sweet girl who is very passionate about caring for others and playing the piano. She played Pure Imagination at her last piano recital, and her favorite movie right now is Wonka. She hopes you enjoy this show!
Elo G (KID ENSEMBLE)
This is Elo's second HAT show. Elo was so excited to be an oompa loompa last year and to show off their fun songs and dances. Elo's favorite things are her kitty Slacky, drawing, painting, playing video games, playing outside in her mud kitchen, and telling jokes! She loves to smile and spend time with her friends and family.
Titus G (KID ENSEMBLE)
Titus has been looking forward to being in a HAT production for years, as he very much enjoys sitting in the stands for their productions. This is his second HAT production. Titus loves to read books, play video games and board/card games, and to solve problems and puzzles to get his brain working. He also loves to pick up Slacky, his little brother kitty.
Addison George (KID ENSEMBLE)
Addison has been in 4 HAT productions, and she enjoys each semester more than the last! Being on the stage is one of her favorite places to be. The dances and songs in Bye-Bye Birdie are some of her favorites, and she hopes you love the show as much as she does!
Savannah Kepple (KID ENSEMBLE)
This is Savannah's sixth HAT production (including two summer programs)! She enjoyed playing the Lion in The Pirates of Oz, a villager in Fiddler on the Roof, a Newsie, and an Oompa Loompa in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. She loves dancing at Soul Steps Dance Company. When she's not at HAT or dance, she enjoys watching mystery movies with her mom and Full House. Savannah looks forward to HAT on Tuesdays and working with Miss Nicole who “does a great job teaching us”. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Teagan Kowalski (KID ENSEMBLE)
Teagan is a 10 year old in her fifth HAT production. She also acts in her church’s annual Christmas play and enjoy’s HAT’s summer camp each year. Her previous roles include Glinda (Pirates of Oz Jr), Villager (Fiddler on the Roof), Daisy (A Step In Time), Cheerleader and Ballerina (An Out of the Box Christmas) and Mrs. Jones (Grace Collective’s Christmas Show). Teagan continues to dance with Soul Steps where she takes ballet, contemporary, hip hop and tap.
Katie Nowalk (KID ENSEMBLE)
This is Katie’s second performance with HAT! She has also performed in HAT’s summer camp last summer. Katie is enjoying spending time with her sisters and her friends!
Tabitha Olson (KID ENSEMBLE)
Tabitha is a 5th grade student and Bye Bye Birdie is Tabitha's 7th HAT show! When not on stage, Tabitha loves playing Dress to Impress with her friends, dancing, playing outside, and going to church. Tabitha is also a student at the Soul Steps Dance Company. Tabitha is so excited to be performing onstage again!
Lukas Sandstrom (KID ENSEMBLE)
Lukas is participating in his fifth HAT production. Lukas definitely keeps himself busy! He likes to play video games with his friends, but you can find him outside in virtually any weather. Depending on the season, you can find him playing flag football, soccer and basketball.
KID ENSEMBLE (Milena Stein)
Milena is a fun loving 10 year-old who has performed with HAT since 2019. She last portrayed several different characters in HAT's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and can't wait to do all of the dances for Bye Bye Birdie!! Milena has won 1st place in the state for JOAD Recurve bow for her age bracket, as well as first place in every tournament local and State that she shot at, the past 3 years running!! Her favorite activities include horseback riding, skateboarding, playing her drums and solving puzzles. Milena loves being with her family and friends, her 4 dogs, and working on home and car projects with her father.
Cecilia Telford (KID ENSEMBLE)
Cecilia is enjoying her fourth musical with HAT. Her favorite things about HAT are singing, dancing, and hanging out with her friends. "You Gotta Be Sincere" is her favorite song in Bye Bye Birdie! When she isn't she practicing theater, you can find her on the volleyball court or playing at home. She is thankful for Miss Nicole, Miss Charlotte, and Miss Clara helping her learn. Cecilia hopes you enjoy the show!
Juniper Thayn (KID ENSEMBLE)
Juniper loves being in HAT, this will be her 4th performance and she has had a great experience with all of them. Her previous performances include Park Ensemble (Mary Poppins, Villager (Fiddler) and Oompa Loompa (Charlie). She has especially loved the new friends she has been able to make through HAT. June also loves to play soccer and she has recently started tap classes
Asher Woods (KID ENSEMBLE)
Asher is very excited for his second performance with HAT. He loved being an oompa-loompa in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory this past Fall! He is a 5th grader who enjoys playing soccer, hunting, fishing, spending time with his family and friends, and archery.
