Original Creative Team

2022-2023 marks my 13th year teaching in the classroom, and my 7th year directing theatre for young performers. I have spent most of my educational career at Hillsboro Elementary Middle School, building a theatre program that brings students into the world of performance art.

I have four kids of my own ranging in ages from 7, 8, 10, and 14. We all attend HEMS every morning and call the HPAC our second home, considering how many hours we have spent in it's halls.

I am formally trained in theatre by the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco, the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City, and I hold a Bachelor's degree with Honors from U.C. Berkeley in Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies. Theatre has always been in my blood, and I am grateful to the parents that have entrusted me with the artistic development of their children. I love spending time with each one of these talented and charismatic students, and I glow with pride when I see them move on in the world.
