Abby Waugh (Ensemble)
Abby Waugh is so happy to be part of this tale as old as time! You might have seen her performing in Lord of the Flies (Sam), or behind the scenes in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (u/s Logainne, u/s Leaf, u/s Barfée). She has also performed at the Dallas Children’s Theater in Willy Wonka Jr. (Mrs. Gloop) and in Next Stop Broadway 2022 (Rod). Abby is in her first year as part of the International Thespians Society. She would like to thank her family and friends for all they do to support her.
Abby O'Rourke (Madame De La Grande Bouche)
Abby O'Rourke, a senior, is excited to be a part of the Beauty and the Beast cast. Her previous performances at HPHS include The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Mitch Mahoney), Lord of the Flies (Naval Officer), Legally Blonde (Elle's Mom, Dance Ensemble), Shrek (Dragon, Shoemaker's Elf), and Phantom of the Opera (Ballerina). Abby is a proud member of HPHS choir in both Lads and Lassies and Park Version. She is also in Texas International Thespians Society, National Honors Society, Varsity Softball, and dances at PCD. She would like to thank her family for being her biggest and favorite fans!
Alessia Cordray (Babette)
Alessia Cordray a Senior, is absolutely ecstatic to be starring in Beauty and the Beast! Her first musical was actually Beauty and the Beast in 6th grade where she played a plate. She recently has been in Legally Blonde (Sundeep/Judge) and Cover of Life (Sybil). She is proudly part of the Varsity Choir (Lads and Lassies) and Social Chair of the Theatre Club. She is pumped for this show and can't wait to be able to present it to others!
Allison Vandermosten (Ensemble)
Allison Vandermosten is thrilled to be a part of the enchanting Beauty and the Beast musical and play Pepper in her first year at the Highland Park High School. She previously performed in High School Musical Jr (Cheerleader), Happily Ever Before (Dark Fairy), Willy Wonka Jr (Ms. Beauregarde), UIL One Act Play and Matilda Jr. (Acrobat). Allison is very passionate about the world of performing arts. She is a member of the Dallas Ballet Company and sings in the HPHS Treble Choir. Allison would like to thank her family, all her wonderful teachers, friends, and the amazing cast & crew.
Anna Melihercik (Ensemble)
Anna Melihercik is very excited to be a part of her first high school production “Beauty and the Beast”! She has previously been in shows such as “Matilda” and “High School Musical”. She is also apart of the HPHS choir and does cheer outside of school. She wants to thank the directors Ms. Murphy and Mr. Perring and the stage managers for making this production so special!
Artem Ephanov (Ensemble)
Artem Ephanov, a sophomore, is enjoying his first time having a role in a large scale musical. Artem has taken the Theatre 1 class offered at his local high-school, Highland Park High School. Artem also has had previous roles in the productions “Suppressed Desires” (Stephen Brewster) and the one act of “The Play That Goes Wrong”(Cecil Haversham). He is excited to see where his hobby of acting will lead him to in the future.
Audrey Metcalf (Ensemble)
Audrey Metcalf, a sophomore, is thrilled to be a part of the cast of Beauty and the Beast! Previous HPHS performances include Lord of the Flies, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Suppressed Desires. She is a member of the International Thespian Society Troupe 1014. Audrey would like to thank Mr. Perring and Ms. Murphy for being amazing directors, and the cast for making it an amazing experience.
Ava Ramo (Spotlight)
Ava Ramo a sophomore, is so excited to be part of the crew for Beauty and the Beast! She has done tech crew for The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and performed in the senior directed play Requiem. She enjoys being a part of theatre and hopes to be apart of shows later in the year.
Biviyana Bahattarai (Dresser)
Biviyana Bhattarai a freshmen, is elated to help and be apart of Beauty and The Beast. She is apart of the kids for cancer and psychology club and is looking forward to gaining more experiences throughout the years. She would like to thank all the people who have supported her and is ready to go on her journey to accomplish many things.
Brooke Myers (Dresser)
Brooke Myers, a freshman, is excited to be a part of Beauty and the Beast. Previous performances include The Magic Tree house (Captain Bones), High School Musical Jr. (ensemble), Xanadu (Calliope), and Happily Ever Before (Snow White). She is a proud member of the prep company at Preston Center Dance and has been dancing for five years. Brooke intends on staying in theater and continuing with dance. She would like to thank her family, friends, and teachers for always supporting her and never giving up on her.
Camille Huckaby (Ensemble)
Camille Huckaby is excited to participate in Beauty and the Beast, Her recent performances include HPMS’s Matilda (Miss Honey), NTPAs Beauty and the Beast (Silly Girl), and HPMS’s Willy Wonka (Mrs. Gloop) She also loves to sing in the HPHS choir and is heavily involved in Preston’s Center Dances theatre program. She would like to thank all of her friends she’s made during the show and hopes to continue perusing theatre throughout highschool.
Caroline Ethridge (Ensemble)
Caroline Ethridge is a freshman and is thrilled to be a part of HPHS’s production of Beauty and the Beast! Some of her previous performances include Willy Wonka Jr. (Grandpa Joe), Happily Ever Before (Rumpelstiltskin), and Matilda Jr. (Mrs. Phelps). In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities, and hanging out with friends! She would like to thank Mr. Perring, Ms. Murphy, the stage managers, and the wonderful cast for making this show an unforgettable experience!
Caroline Dowd (Ensemble)
Caroline Dowd, a freshman, is thrilled to be part of her first production with Highland Park! Some of her favorite productions in the past have been Newsies (Splasher), Willy Wonka (Mrs. Gloop), and Wrinkle in Time (Charles Wallace). Out of school Caroline likes clay shooting, fishing, and hanging out with her friends. She would like to thank her family for always supporting her and Mr. Perring, Ms. Murphy and the stage managers for putting together such an amazing show!
Carter Moreland (Gaston)
Carter is thrilled to be in this show. This will be his 22nd theatre production. In his free time he enjoys playing sports, volunteering around the community and running his Woodoku Club. Carter is grateful to be able to play Gaston because he represents economic absolute advantage. (s/o Mr. Howland)
Cate Gould (Belle)
"Cate Gould, a senior, is elated to be part of this cast! Cate's previous HPHS productions include Legally Blonde (Brooke), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Olive) and Shrek the Musical (ensemble). Some of her favorite roles include Tanya (Mamma Mia), Dream Laurey (Oklahoma), and Heather McNamera (Heathers). Cate also enjoys being a member of Lads and Lassies, Park Version Acapella Choir, and cheering on the Scots as a Varsity Cheerleader. Cate would like to thank her parents for supporting her journey in the arts along with Megan Bates at Preston Center Dance and Mrs. Preskitt, TPB Studio."
Charlotte Shays (Les Filles)
Charlotte Shays, a senior, is beyond excited to be performing in this production of Beauty and the Beast. Charlotte moved from Los Angles to Dallas for her junior year, and since, has been welcomed into the Highland Park theatre community with open arms. Her recent performances include Into the Woods (The Witch), Hairspray (Penny), and Sweeney Todd (The Beggar Woman). She is a proud member of the Highland Park Lads and Lassies, and would like to thank Mr. Perring, Ms. Murphy, and Ms. Walker for making her senior year musical such an incredible experience.
Charlotte York (Tech)
Claire Vaughn (Ensemble)
Claire Vaughn, a sophomore, is happy to join Mr. Perring, Ms. Murphy and the talented cast of Beauty and the Beast! Her favorite roles include Amy March in Little Women, Wendy Darling in Peter Pan and Vivian in Oklahoma. In her free time you can find her watching reality TV, eating Mexican food or attending Broadway Dallas musicals! She would like to thank her friends and family for always supporting her! Shout out to all the seniors I am going to miss you!
Clara Swartzendruber (Les Filles)
Clara Swartzendruber, a Junior, has loved getting to spend this past month and a half with this amazing cast and crew! She wants to thank the directors Ms Murphy and Mr Perring, the choral directors, Mrs Walker and Mr Patel, the choreographer, Mr Alonso, as well as the two amazing stage managers, Jessica Wu and Zoe Zaner. Clara would like to thank everyone in the show for helping make it the most fun and best it can be!
Delaney Newberry (Ensemble)
Delaney Newberry a freshman, is excited to be in her first production at HPHS in Beauty and the Beast. Delaney's favorite roles include, The Addams Family (Gomez), Little Shop of Horrors (Mr. Mushnik), Pirates Past Noon (Annie) and Charlotte's Web (Mrs. Arable). Delaney is also a part of the HPHS choir program, and the HP Lady Scots golf team. Delaney would like to thank the directors and cast for all their hard work to make the show possible. Mostly, she would like to thank her parents for their support every step of the way.
Emily Bailey (Les Filles)
Emily Bailey, a senior, is so excited to be a part of the phenomenal cast of Beauty and the Beast. Her most recent performances at the high school include Shrek the Musical (Fairy Godmother), Legally Blonde (Whitney), and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Rona). Some outside performances include Little Women (Amy) and Next Stop Broadway. She is a member of the Lads and Lassies, Park Version, National Honor Society, Spirited Scots Cheer Squad, and is a captain of the HPHS Softball team. Emily would like to thank her directors and coaches for supporting all of her passions throughout her high school career.
Emma Becker (Cogsworth)
Emma Becker is a senior and thrilled to be in her 8th HPHS production! Her favorite roles in past productions have been Marcy Park in the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and Paulette in Legally Blonde. She’s a member of Spirited Scots, National Honor Society, Park Version, Historian of Lads & Lassies, and Vice President of the International Thespian Society Troupe 1014. She intends to pursue Broadcast Journalism in the future. Many thanks to her family, friends, teachers, and the entire cast and crew of Beauty and the Beast.
Esra Melech (Ensemble)
Esra Melech, a freshman, is extremely excited to be a part of this year’s production of Beauty and the Beast. Some of her past shows include Madagascar Jr (Monkey, Waiter), The Wizard of Oz (Tree, Oz Townie, Guardian), Alice in Wonderland (Sea Creature), Lion King (Shenzi), Happily Ever Before (Evil Queen), Willy Wonka (Candyman), and Matilda Jr (Alice), Tuck Everlasting (ensemble/featured dancer). A member of the HPMS middle school Treble Choir since 6th grade, Esra is now a proud new member of the HPHS Treble Choir. Esra is thrilled to spend her afternoons with such hardworking, talented and overall incredible people to bring this show to life and looks forward to participating in future productions.
Grace Martin (Ensemble)
Grace Martin, a sophomore, is so excited to be a part of Beauty and the Beast. Previous Highland Park High School productions include, Legally Blonde (Delta Nu/Margo's Understudy), Lord of the Flies (Bill), and A Less Expendable Husband (Vicki). Some other performances she has participated in are NTPA's Legally Blonde Jr. (Elle Woods), 13 (Charlotte), and Shrek Jr. (Fiona). Grace is a member of the International Thespians Society. She wishes to thank her family, friends, Mr. Perring, and Ms. Murphy for all the support.
Greer Manley (Lefou)
Greer Manley, a senior, could not be more thrilled to be a part of the phenomenal cast of Beauty and the Beast. Her recent performances include 25 Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee The Musical (Leaf Coneybear), Legally Blonde (Enid Hoops), and Shrek (Pinocchio). She is a proud member of the HPHS Lads and Lassies, Youth Small Group Leader at UPUMC, and is serving as Librarian for the International Thespian Society Troupe 1014. Greer intends on doing theater on the side for the rest of her life and would like to thank her family, friends, and teachers for a beautiful beginning to a story she hopes to never stop telling.
Hayden Wagner (Ensemble)
Hayden Wagner is so thrilled to be a part of her sixth show at HPHS! Some oh her favorite roles have been Perceval (Lord Of The Flies) and Ensemble (Legally Blonde). She thoroughly enjoys all things arts related and cannot wait for the theatre season to come. She would like to thank her friends, teachers, and family for supporting her. A special shout-out to the directors and cast for making this show so much fun to be a part of!
Isabella Sweeney (Tech)
Isabella Sweeney is happy to join the tech crew this year! In her most recent years she’s been a member of broadway bound and is a student in the tech theatre class. Izzy is mostly just happy to be in a theatre production after a year long break and hopes others enjoy the show as much as she enjoyed being a part of it.
Isabelle Le (Ensemble)
Isabelle Le is a freshman who is so excited to be in her first highschool production of Beauty and the Beast! This is the second musical she has performed in. She wishes to thank the directors and cast for the hard work that has been put into this show to make it happen!
Jessica Wu (Stage Manager)
Jessica Wu, a junior, is excited to be this musical’s stage manager! Her recent involvement in shows included Doug Panch in 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Maurice in Lord of the Flies, and a Harvard Admissions Officer in Legally Blonde the Musical! She served as Junior Representative last year in HPHS’s International Thespian Society Troupe. Other than acting, Jessica loves singing, dancing, drawing, and fashion! She aspires to pursue acting in the future and would like to thank all the fellow cast and crew for making this show what it is!!
Julia Smartt (Lumiere)
Julia Smartt, a senior, is very excited to be a part of Beauty and the Beast. Her recent performances include The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (William Barfee), Lord of The Flies (Ralph), and Legally Blonde (Serena). She is a proud member of the Lads and Lassies Choir, and National Honor Society. She is also the active President for International Thespian Society Troupe 1014. Julia intends to pursue acting in college, and hopefully long after that! She would like to thank her family and friends for keeping her sane in such a hectic time!
Kate Denton (Les Filles)
Kate Denton, a Junior, is exited to preform in Beauty and the Beast at Highland Park High School. She loves preforming and working with such an amazing cast and crew! Kate is a part of International Thespians Society as well as Lads and Lassies and Park Version. Kate Kuykendall (Ensemble)
Kate Kuykendall is very excited to be a part of this musical. this is her first show. She is a sophomore at HPHS. she thanks her family and her friends for always supporting her!
Laci Rosen (Ensemble)
Laci Rosen, a junior, is so excited to be a member of the cast of Beauty and the Beast! Previous shows at Highland Park High School include Legally Blonde and Shrek. Laci is a member of the International Thespian Society and the Junior Theater Festival team which won “Outstanding" in Sacramento this past year. Laci would like to thank her family, friends and teachers for always encouraging her and supporting her.
Layla Allen (Ensemble)
Layla Allen, a sophomore, could not be more thrilled to be a part of the phenomenal cast of Beauty and the Beast. Her recent performances include Legally Blonde (Harvard Student), High School Musical (Martha Cox), and Alice in Wonderland (Caterpillar). She is a proud member of the HPHS Choir and theater class. Layla intends on pursuing a life in theatre and would like to thank family, friends, and teachers who inspired her.
Leya Qureshi (Dresser)
Leya Qureshi, a freshman, is so excited to be in the production of Beauty and the Beast. Shes performed in previous shows such as Carrie (Helen) , Matilda (Nigel), and Willy Wonka (Mrs. TeeVee). She has been apart of school theater for 2 years and take singing lessons outside school as well. She just started doing shows at NTPA (North Texas Performing Arts). She will continue to be apart of musicals as well as plays throughout her high school career and cannot wait too see what the future holds.
Lillian Goetz (Head Dresser)
Lillian Goetz, a sophomore, is proud to be a part of Beauty and the Beast. Past productions at the high school include Lord of the Flies (crew) and The Play That Goes Wrong (Johnathan). She is also a member of the HPHS debate team and the National Junior Classical League. She would like to thank all the other participants and family members connected to the production for making everything possible.
Madeleine Grimste (Ensemble)
Madeleine Grimste is so exited to be a part of this wonderful production of Beauty and the Beast. She has taken a break from theater and is very happy to be back and performing. She does not intend to pursue a career in fine arts but absolutely loves being part of musicals and plays.
Mark Zantop (Chip)
Mark Zantop is a 4th grade student at Hyer Elementary and is so thrilled to be Chip. You may have seen him in Matilda (Nigel), Aladdin (Sultan), and Descendants (Doug). He had the incredible opportunity to compete at the Junior Theater Festival this year as James in James and the Giant Peach. He is training with Megan Kelly Bates, Katie McDaniel, and Armoni Adamson at Preston Center Dance. Mark also trains at Boon Martial Arts where he is a red belt in taekwondo. In his free time, he enjoys kneeboarding and wakeboarding. Mark's dream is to star on Broadway!
Matthew Winford (Maurice)
Matthew Winford, a junior, is thrilled to be cast in this production of Beauty and the Beast. Coming from a background of vocal performance, he is part of the Lads and Lassies and Park Version choirs and now looks to expand his selection of fine arts with his first theater experience. Matthew hopes to continue performing in musicals to come, and thanks Mr. Perring, Ms. Murphey, and the rest of the cast and crew for giving him such a welcome into this art form.

Mckinley Meece (Ensemble)
Mckinley Meece, a junior, can't wait to perform with the amazing cast of Beauty and the Beast. Her recent performances include The Cover of Life (Kate), Lord of the Flies (Jack), and Legally Blonde (Grandmaster Chad). She is a proud member of Lads and Lassies, and the International Thespian Society. Mckinley intends on pursuing a career in film and would like to thank her family, friends, and teachers for their continued support and encouragement in all her many endeavors.
Minna Lamprecht (Ensemble)
Minna Lamprecht is so excited to be a part of the wonderful cast of Beauty and the Beast. This is her first show at HPHS. Previous local performances include Alice in Wonderland, The Little Mermaid, Guys and Dolls, and James and the Giant Peach. She is a member of the HPHS Lads and Lassies choir, Park Version a cappella group, and Broadway Bound and JTF theater group. She wishes to thank her family for encouraging her in her love of music.
Morgan Martinez (The Beast)
Morgan Martinez, a sophomore, is grateful to perform with this talented cast. His recent HPHS performances include The Cover of Life (Tommy) and Legally Blonde (Elle’s Dad/Ensemble). Other performances include Xanadu (Sonny), High School Musical Jr. (Ryan), Fame (Nick Piazza), Legend of Sleepy Hollow (Walter/ensemble). Morgan is a member of HPHS Park Version, Lads and Lassies and the JTF competition group at Preston Center Dance. He is appreciative of the village of friends, family and teachers who have helped foster his love of performing. Morgan would like to thank his parents and brother for all their love and support.
Morgan Harris (Chip)
Morgan Harris (Chip) is a 4th Grade Student at Bradfield Elementary (GO BRONCOS!) and is honored to take the stage as the lovable and adorable Chip Potts in Beauty and the Beast! Morgan loves all things Musical Theater and started her acting career with Preston Center Dance in the summer of 2021 as an ensemble member in the production of Matilda. Next up was a lead role in Aladdin Kids as the quick-witted Aladdin with PCD. Morgan portrayed Poppy in the summer production of LLUMC The Lion, The Switch and the Warm Robes and performed as an Auradonian in Disney’s Descendants: The Musical with PCD. Currently she trains with Megan Kelly Bates, Armoni Adamson at Preston Center Dance/Musical Theater, Jasmine Xavier in Voice and Patricia Tsai on the Piano. Outside of dreaming of starring on Broadway, Morgan loves Tennis, Swimming, Softball and Attending Concerts.
Nelle Blaylock (Silly Girl)
Nelle Blaylock is a junior. She has participated in many shows here at Highland Park and is so excited to be part of the cast of Beauty and the Beast. She also participates in local theater and dance classes and is part of the Lads and Lassies choir. She is very grateful for the friends, family and teachers who have supported her and attended every show!
Noa Nonnemacher (Ensemble)
Noa Nonnemacher is happy to be apart of her first HPHS Fall Musical, and would like to thank her parents along with Mr. Perring and Ms. Murphy for working with her to make her participation possible this year.
Nola Carroll (Ensemble)
Nola is very happy to be apart of this years musical! She has loved being apart of many productions in at HPHS such as Shrek and Legally Blonde. Nola is also a member of the varsity Lads & Lassies choir, and the select a cappella group Park Version. She wants to thank her family, PCD mentors, and choir teachers! Hello to her friends from the green gates.
Olivia Carroll (Mrs. Potts)
Olivia Carroll, a senior, is beyond excited to be a part of her 7th HPHS production! Recent HPHS Theatre performances include: The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Logan), Lord of the Flies (Simon), and Legally Blonde (Margot). Olivia is the proud President of the Highland Park Lads and Lassies, and a 2-year member of Park Version. She is also the current Secretary for the HP Theatre Club. Olivia plans to pursue her Musical Theater dreams in college and after! BIG hugs to her PCD fam (MKB, KMc, AA) and lots of love to Ms. Walker & Mr. Patel for their immense encouragement and kindness over all these years!
Raj Luthra (Baker)
Raj Luthra, a freshman, is grateful to be part of the cast of Beauty and the Beast. Raj’s past performances include HPMS’s Matilda (Trunchbull), Happily Ever Before (Wolf), Highschool Musical (Chad) and The Little Mermaid. He is also been apart of PCD JTF’s Flat Stanley, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and James and the Giant Peach. Raj is looking forward to his first highschool production and wishes to thank all of his acting and singing teachers.
Ruthie Grissen (Ensemble)
Ruthie Grissen a freshman, cannot wait to perform in Beauty and the Beast. Her recent performances include two productions of Matilda the Musical (Escapologist and Bruce ), The Little Mermaid (Sebastion), and Happily Ever Before (Fairy Godmother). She is a proud member of the JV2 Volleyball Team and JTF and Broadway Bound at Preston Center Dance. Ruthie loves acting and intends to continue to act throughout her life. Sydney Sinor (Ensemble)
Sydney is excited to perform in her second musical at HPHS!  Sydney is 15 years old, and a sophomore. She has performed in several productions including Thirteen the Musical (Patrice), Beauty and the Beast Jr. (Lumiere), Legally Blonde (Ensemble), and Oz (Lion). Sydney is also a member of the International Thespian Society. She wants to thank everyone involved in making this show a great production!
Timothy Syfert (Ensemble)
Timothy Syfert, a senior, is excited to join the cast of Beauty and the Beast for his premier performance and entrance into the world of theater. He is also a member of Highland Parks Park Version and Lads and Lassies. Thanks to my family, friends, and teachers for their time and support as I embrace a new adventure in Theater.
Tucker Mattison (Monseiur D'Arque)
Tucker Mattison, a junior, is very excited for his second musical at HPHS. He has been in the theater program since 6th grade and would like to thank Ms. Murphy, Mr. Perring, and Mrs. Walker for coordinating this show! Cheese Grater.
Zach Feldman (Bookseller)
Zachary Feldman, a senior, is excited to be a part of Beauty and the Beast. Previous appearances include Legally Blonde and Shrek. When Zach is not on stage he sings in Lads & Lassies and Park Version. A favorite of Zach’s is to have balls flying at him as he plays as the HPHS Lacrosse Goalie. Zach would like to thank Miss Mac, Mrs. Walker, and Mr. Patel for all the vocal inspiration.
Zoe Zaner (Stage Manager)
Zoe Zaner, a sophomore, is super excited to be Stage Manager for Beauty and the Beast, Highland Park’s fall musical. She has previously been involved in the high school productions of Legally Blonde, Lord of the Flies, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, as well as multiple middle school productions and UIL performances. Zoe would like to thank her parents for everything they have done to support her on her theater journey, and her friends for always having her back.
