Old Time Christmas Radio Shows - World War II Radio Christmas Play & Christmas Thieves Cast

Valdeen Fletcher (Afred Bell, Bjorn Gundlarssen)
Valdeen is ecstatic about being back on the HSP stage! He has been involved with community theater, in Levy and Alachua counties, for 10 years and a part of 27 productions. His latest appearance was at GCP'S showing of "Best Little Whorehouse in Texas", as the senator. He would like to thank Andy for letting him join this show which allows him to return to his radio days(many years ago) as a disc jockey at WLQH, Chiefland and WCWB, Trenton.
Oceano Barber (Radio Actor, Saltzpeter)
Oceano is excited to return to the High Springs Playhouse after recently playing Roat in Wait Until Dark. This time, they’re thrilled to bring a little more cheer and a little less… menace. They want to thank their amazing loved ones, the endlessly patient audience, and their professors at Truthful Acting Studios, who transformed them from “person with ambition” into “artist with direction.” Huge thanks to director Andy for being wonderful to work with and for giving them the perfect challenge—more voice work (a dream!) Learning some German for the show has been an unexpected and fun bonus. Océano hopes you enjoy the performance, and wishes you a beautiful and happy holiday season filled with love and joy.
Alex Gibson (Foley Artist, Radio Actor)
Semi-Retired or 4 years in Florida and has a love for Theatre deep in his roots. This is his second exposure with HSP. His first appearance was in the 2023 performances of ‘You Can’t Take It With You” as Mr. Kirby (a good old man type-cast) .While he wants to hit our stage again soon, for now he is glad to be able to offer his assistance in Voice Over and Folley Sounds (“ding-ding”!) which are important transitional sounds in any radio or live play such as we are all enjoying today.
Victoria Gregory (Radio Actor)
Victoria is thrilled to end 2025 at the same place it began... at High Springs Playhouse! You may recognize her from most recently playing Juror Two (Twelve Angry Jurors) at Acrosstown Repertory Theatre; Renee (The Odd Couple: Female Version) at HSP, or Mary (It Can't Happen Here) with Actors Warehouse. She would like to thank Andy and Mychelle for this opportunity and their belief in her. Thank you to Ellen, Lola, Jenna, LoveBunny, and parents for their endless encouragement and support. Thank you so much for coming, supporting our community, and the arts! Happy Holidays! Come see us again in the New Year for more wonderful shows!

Patricia Thomson (Radio Actor, Rosie)
Pat is happy to be back at HSP working with such a talented cast and crew. She has volunteered in community theater since she was a teenager. She worked in various roles: actor, director, costumer, set designer, etc.… Now retired from UF Law School, Pat’s been doing theater for a looong time. (You do the math.) You may have seen her in last season’s production of Dead Man’s Cell Phone. Pat, who holds a BA in theatre arts, looks forward to directing HSP’s June production of Exit Laughing. Pat would like to thank Andy and Mychelle for casting her, all their hard work and their dedication. She sends a special thank you to Michael, Richard and Jan.
