Amber first appeared on our stage as 'Mother' in the High Springs Playhouse production of 'A Christmas Story' alongside her three children. She is the founder & Artistic Director of Alachua Children's Theatre, where every child who auditions is cast in each production, regardless of experience & talent. Amber graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from the University of Southern California with a minor in Business Administration. She has performed in numerous roles on stage, on film sets in Hollywood, and on cruise ships at sea. For years she told jokes aboard The World Famous Jungle Cruise at Disneyland and can now be caught spieling the best of Dad Jokes in the kitchen. Amber is tickled to be directing 'The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)' at High Springs Playhouse. Twenty-five years ago, during a semester, studying theatre abroad in England, she had the privilege of seeing the show performed by the infamous Reduced Shakespeare Company in London's West End. The troupe had the audience roaring with laughter and thus began her admiration of Shakespeare. She travelled to Stratford upon Avon to visit the Bard's home & resting place, and was treated to a hilarious performance of 'A Comedy of Errors' by the Royal Shakespeare Company. She proudly stood the four hours inside London's Globe Theatre as a 'Groundling' to see 'Hamlet,' while the actual Prince of Denmark watched from the balcony above. The performance was so spectacular, she didn't throw any of the tomatoes she had previously stashed in her pockets. This is Clara's 5th show with HSP but her first time assistant directing. She would like to thank Amber for trusting her with this position and the cast and crew for making this such an enjoyable experience. Previous roles include Peter Pan (Peter Pan), Wicked Witch (Wizard of Oz), Mary Eunice (Radio T.B.S.), and Fate 2 (Hadestown). She would also like to thank her friends and family for all the support she's received throughout the process. She is incredibly proud of this show and everyone in it. She hopes you enjoy the show!

This is Kat’s 8th production at HSP. Kat recently played Jimmie in Belongings. Kat’s previous roles include the Tin Man in Wizard of Oz, Head Waiter in Murder on the Orient Express, and Mrs. Otter in Wind in the Willows. She worked tech on The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen's Guild Dramatic Society's Production of A Christmas Carol and she worked on the stage crew for Dead Man’s Cellphone and The Christmas Express. Kat enjoys cosplay, drawing, obsessing over Doctor Who, and studying law and government.

Sagan is a middle school student who loves making art in all forms. She enjoys painting, sculpting, sewing, filmmaking, playing in band, and reading comics. She is excited to return to HSP as a member of this crew, having previously worked on the crew of Belongings and Little Women.

Following a long break from the stage, Kenny has recently returned to his theatrical roots as the Sound Manager for the Alachua Children's Theatre's productions of Peter Pan and The Little Mermaid Jr. He feels fortunate to be part of this production and deeply appreciates the opportunity to collaborate with this incredible group of performers.

Alison and Bob, a creative set design husband/wife team, are delighted to be working on their first production at High Springs Playhouse. For the past two years, they have enjoyed designing and building multiple sets for Alachua Children's Theatre, in their productions of Peter Pan and The Little Mermaid Jr.
