This concert wraps up our 2021-2022 concert season and our High Point Dance Students have worked tirelessly to bring you this amazing show. Apogee explores cultural and regional dance styles like Ballet Folklorico and Country Western dance as well as movement from classical dance genres: jazz, modern, and ballet. Additionally, we are premiering work by two senior dance students, Cesar Gutierrez and Diamond Cumberbatch-Scott. 

The Dance Department at High Point High School is under the direction of Darryl Pilate. Dance at High Point High School has a long history of producing wonderful concerts filled with several styles and genres of dance. Classes offered at High Point High School are Dance I-IV, Dance Production, Ability Dance, and Dance Repertory.
