Lisa Parker (Playwright)
Lisa Parker is a Playwright, Director and Actor from Suffield, CT. Her short-form plays have been produced by Theater From Home as well as The Suffield Players, and she teaches a popular online playwriting workshop for beginners. As an actor, Lisa most recently appeared as Masha in the Christopher Durang comedy Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike with The Suffield Players and Sara Jane Moore in KETG's sold-out production of Assassins by Stephen Sondheim. Favorite roles include Charlotte in Moon Over Buffalo and Faye in Neil Simon's Chapter Two, for which she was awarded Best Actress in a Featured Role by the MCC.
Stepbanie MacGillivary (Darla)
Steph MacGillivary is a nonprofit Marketing Director by day, but at night...she loves the stage! Steph has been active in the Northern Connecticut theater scene for the past 11 years. She started in 2009 with the Valley Repertory Players in Enfield, Connecticut, where her favorite roles have included Jan in the Unexpected Guest and Cora in Calendar Girls. In 2011, Steph began working with the Suffield Players, first as an actress and then as a member of the Playreading Committee. Her favorite roles with Suffield include The Feminine Caller in For Whom the Southern Belle Tolls and Sylvia in the library read of Sylvia at the Kent Memorial Library. Steph would like to thank her family, especially her husband Ryan and furbabies Ann and Duncan, for their constant support, especially over the last year.
Trish Urso (Sandy)
Trish is thrilled to be appearing in her third virtual show in the last year (theater finds a way!). Previous virtual roles include Rayona in The Reality of Education with the Suffield Players and the Nurse in Medea with her alma mater, Ithaca College. Favorite roles from the “before times” include: Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, The Dixie Swim Club, Five Women Wearing the Same Dress, Sylvia, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, and Laughter on the 23rd Floor.
